I have to admit, I was curious about how they were going to make this work and still be safe and they did In true Alexa Riley fashion it was OTT, steamy and safe. I loved Shep's possessive caveman behavior.
- no cheating
- no ow/om drama whatsoever
- no pushing away
- no violence
- just ok epilogue - it was 2 years and 10 years later but didn't give us much in reference to their lives

I do have a weakness for Alexa Riley books just not this one.
I know it’s all about the sex, the insta-love, OTT alpha male and I’m fine with that. I also know the story is just a means to an end and not to be taken seriously, so two virgins meeting at a sex club orgy is fine. Totally crazy but fine.
Yes the sex was hot, it’s always hot but apart from that this didn’t really work for me, I was struggling anyway and then he said.
“....I just filled this sweet little pussy up with my baby gravy...”

I normally enjoy Alexa Riley’s work but this one just missed the mark for me. I guess the real issue for me is that lately all her books feel the same. Hopefully the next one will have more substance and character development…

Well, damn!! That was hot, quick, and dirty! If you're familiar with Alexa Riley, you know the drill. An OTT alpha male claims his woman in the sexiest way imaginable. Well this book ramps up the sex appeal a few notches.
Here's the breakdown: Two virgins walk into a sex club, at the insistence of their friends. Their eyes meet across the room and the attraction is immediate. They can't deny the pull.
What I loved: This was a super quick read. I really enjoyed both main characters, Ivy and Shep. They're sweet and wholesome....for a little while anyway. Shep in particular was spectacular. This would have easily been a 5 star rating had he not been a virgin. I struggled with the fact a virgin would be so self-assured and domineering in the bedroom. I might be wrong, but I didn't buy it. Other than that, this is Alexa Riley Gold!!

The story's about Shepard and Ivy.
I'm not into this kind of story, going to a sex club and it's orgy night. I didn't even know how Alexa Riley will make it work for me but they did. It's safe, it's dirty and it's so hot. I loved that even if there's a lot going on around them, no one touched them or really tried to do anything. It's just all about them wanting each other and they can't get enough of each other.
It has epilogues but I want more.

"Unexpected Claim" is the story of Ivy and Shephard.
Basically, two virgins walk into a BDSM sex orgy, and zero walk out.
This was short, and suffered from virgin-pornstar phenomena- also since Im totally not a fan of virgin heroes, this wasnt my favorite tbh.
Sweet epilogues as expected. For me, the cover was way hotter than the book.

November 20, 2017I liked this one don't get me wrong, but I'm noticing a disturbing pattern with the young virgin girls just turning 18 and a significantly older man. Sometimes the descriptions as well almost seem paedophilic and predatory. I get the allure with the naivety of a young woman and an alpha male, but something in the repetitive story telling is coming to the point of creepy if you start to notice the patterns like all the girls pretty much become home makers and baby breeders.

RANTS AND SPOILERS-ish AHEAD
Did I accidentally download a sampler with an epilogue? I'm pretty sure I got the whole book, but all I experienced by reading this seemed like a preview to an actual Alexa Riley book.
I admit the characters were cute and it was hot for like a few minutes and that was it. And, guess what? We get another overused epilogue wherein the girl was now pregnant/already gave birth and was pregnant again!
The best thing about this book besides the adorably innocent protagonists? The guy's not that talkative unlike every other AR book-boyfriend!
Overall, although this book didn't make me cringe, I was still disappointed by its lack of the real AR smut.

That was hot, sexy and satisfying. I won't lie when this possible story idea was brought up I was super nervous. If you know me I'm particularly picky about the books I'm interested in. I need a possessive hero. I want him to absolutely be almost cave man when it comes to others seeing, touching, even smelling his woman. I also don't want him even close to another woman. I want my heroine to only be interested in sex with him and vice versa. So an orgy?
Yea I was nervous and confused at how this could ever work. I'd want him to not want eyes on her at all.
While it didn't go exactly as I wanted it still settled my fears for the most part. I wished they left earlier but it was Hot and still so sexy and good.
Loved the epilogues too.

I always enjoy reading AR stories... this one wasn't the exception. It was fast, sweet and very steamy.
Shephard and Ivy were very lovely characters and guess what???? There are both virgins in a sex club that made the story even sweeter and hotter! If you are a fan then you know what you gonna get... a possessive, caveman hero and an innocent yet sassy woman!!
