This was an excellent book! I will admit that the previous books were better but this one was still amazing! Some parts were hard to follow but that’s probably because it has been a while since I read the previous books…. oops :/

Stann, Orc warrior mage, blacksmith and so much more has been kidnapped
The team will not test until they get him back, Talia will not stop until Stann is back with her. The Misfits are all in and working to find Stann, with Elon and his new friend having the first real clue.
As they explore a new world of technology due to low magic, they travel quite a distance and get wrapped up in a sting by local law enforcement. Next thing you know Jack and the Misfits are trying to work within and with the law to rescue Stann and stop the entire kidnapping operation. Which it turns out isn’t the first time those from this continent have stolen from the main continent that the team is from. Read on as the team begins their hunt to find the white haired mage who kidnapped Stann!

A Struggle With Mediocrity
I very rarely write reviews but this series is just too frustrating. Huge potential, terrible execution. Weak and boring. Probably a good children's story...but the books have been getting worse and worse the last 3. This will be my last. When I end up skipping forward through half the book in an attempt to find worthwhile reading...it's not worth it. MC is weak. Plot is weak. Every character is OP...and yet they struggle with mediocrity. Characters and environment are well developed. So hard to find that & it's why I kept hoping for the storyline to improve. Unfortunately the storyline and the consistently weak way the author portrays his characters is just overall depressing.

Jack an his team of misfits stumble on an old portal machine an the adventure continues .
Jack an his team stop the war from escalating an bring peace to the nations an to the region as well . They kill off the head of the factions of humans that started the war an old rivals as well one an the same . Once that was over a different new enemy appeared across the continent that they must solve to rescue their friend that was kidnapped an portaled . recommend reading excellent series .

I rollercoaster ride was even more exciting with every book I read !
So very many venerations and different unexpected developments every where with each and every book so far ! Only 2 left at this time, but I will be thinking about this read for some time to come !
Well worth my time spent devouring these many pages of an adventure I felt I was part of !
Highly recommend it for its characters and their development as well !
Much thanks to the author for his prolific imagination he brought to life in the pages of his books !

An excellent series. From students to outcasts to revolutionaries.
Very interesting and a fun read. Lots of twists and turns as the misfits track down their missing comrade. I did feel that the kidnapper mage should have been put to the sword since he got away once before. The book also ended very abruptly.
This was a very good and well written story, so l highly recommend it.

The series is a fun read good for people who don't like to see people get hurt
The series has gone on long enough with one positive result over and over that at times you get the feeling it's all going to blow up in your face but then nothing happens and they skip to something else. I am curious about all the people they've locked up and forgotten while they went off shopping or getting something to eat and they are always getting something to eat.

Great writing diminished by poor editing, sigh.
Lovable characters fighting the forces of evil tyranny. A real bad guy vanquished! What a classic story with imaginitve heroes. Heroes that we have learned to love. Great book that deserved a better final editor. The instead of they, come on guys. Read the words to see if the sentence makes sense, geez!

Great Story
Sorry I have to lead with a problem, editing. The storyline was intriguing and captivating but the wrong words used or missing in sentences made it an awkward tale to read. The instead of They, suit instead of suite, please go back and re-edit this book for future readers.

I need a little more! I loved this culmination to the series. It was a little lighter in some ways than the others, but still with great action and new friendships developing. I wish there was an epilogue or something to let us know how things settled down. However, I am so glad I read this series! One of my favorite authors!!

Needs editing
The story is good, but there are several places the author uses the wrong character's name, flip-flops pronouns (calling the same dragon both he and she in the same sentence), and uses the wrong word or wrong verb tense. Definitely would benefit from a competent editor.

Terrible editing and ending
I love this series and this author's style. I can't put it down and have read 6 books in a week. However, this book wasn't quite as good as the rest. I found the ending to be abrupt. The editing was pitiful. I would have done a better job than that in high school.

Not as good as previous books
Still a fairly good story to follow. Enjoyable but it lacked something the previous books had. Not really sure. It could be that the story is just getting old.

So enjoyed this series! Hope there will be a book 7!
I'm torn! I loved this series and now I've read all six books! I thoroughly enjoyed each book but now all I can think is..it's over! No!!! Hoping another book is in the works. Fingers crossed!

Searching forStann

Just finished the book (#6 in the series), and I'm hoping their is a 7th book at a minimum, before the series is complete. I'm glad the Misfits, are back together, but it feels like they have more to do

Lost 2 stars for NOT writing a Recap.
I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.

I found it an enjoyable read. But I think they need a new proof reader and editor. Way to many screw up’s. The other thing I found funny was them going to a different continent and speaking the same language. But hey it is a fantasy world

Great Book
It has a ton of twist and turns I strongly recommend for teens but not for adults..unless you have a crazy imagination. Overall great book!
