Must keep these persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ at the forefront of my mind. Incredible stories of the redemption + freedom that is only possible through the Father. God bless the work these brave men and women are pursuing and standing firm in to shine the light of the Gospel in such utter darkness.

Al and Susan Henson have such compassion and love as they walk with persecuted believers, rescue victimized children, and patiently model Christ to hurting souls. I have seen their love for Christ first hand. I highly recommend this book.

Heartbreaking but Beautiful

Your heart will grieve over what fellow human beings have suffered through, but also be filled with hope & wonder at the redemption & transformation of their souls & lives, and the love that God's people have for one another.

A tender, uplifting read that delves into the brokenness of children and communities throughout Southeast Asia and shows the light brought into their lives through the new, loving home provided to them by Al and Susan Henson. These are two Christian Americans who have used their resources and connections generously and selflessly to rescue people, especially women, in peril and guide them to healing through Christ.

What a way to glorify God. To write a book detailing the relief He has brought to over a thousand lives. These are people who have suffered unimaginable heartache from a young, impressionable age, but who have been given strength and new purpose through Christ alone. This novel will elevate your understanding of an oft-ignored corner of society, and it will elevate your faith. Must read for any believer.
