I would love to float in clear skies, serene, carefree, and untethered from life’s difficulties. However, the problems of this world often weigh me down.
This quote challenged me, “It is a sign of weakness to always worry and fret, question everything, and mistrust everyone. Can anything be gained by it? Don’t we only make ourselves unfit for action, and separate our minds from the ability to make wise decisions? We simply sink in our struggles when we could float by faith.” ~ Lettie Cowman
Doesn’t floating by faith sound wonderful? Yet, how do we float by faith in a world filled with anxiety, fear, frustration, anger, health issues, negative news reports, unending distractions, and other life issues?
Join me as we explore ways to be fueled by God’s joyful peace and empowered with His power to Float by Faith through the obstacles and storms of life.

While searching for my next nonfiction Christian book to review, I found this book's title and became intrigued by it. To me, floating meant a sense of freedom and unencumbered by anything
Before trying to be a good Christian woman, I never had truly possessed any faithfulness to the Lord; I had been a secular woman. However, since I began trying to be a good Christian ever since starting the writing of my Christian blog, my faithfulness is now an attribute of my ever-increasing relationship with the Lord. I can call myself faithful with my basic unassuming service to the Lord and consistently walking with Him. Along with this has been a sense of freedom from the usual earthly interferences to possess my relationship with the Lord.
Being the Christian woman I've become, I've learned that when we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, with that, the Holy Spirit becomes permanently present in our lives and that we will receive what is written in GALATIANS 5:22-23 [NLT]:
[22] "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!"
The extent of the completeness of these blessings all depends on our walking with the Lord and our conceding to His Spirit. The more I've accepted the words of the Lord in my life, the more faithful I've become by searching for Him in prayer.
The instructions regarding this can be found in PSALMS 1:1-2 [NKJV]:
[1] "Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;" [2] "But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law, he meditates day and night."
And in reading EPHESIANS 6:18 [NLT]:
"Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere."
