Old Men
Never was much for speakin’ and writin’, but it seemed like I should tell someone what I am doin’ and why. And I gots lotsa time on my hands nowadays. Lots ‘n’ lotsa time.
When I get done recordin’ this, I will send it to every library in the Belts. Maybe even send it to Earth, to all them what's in the Company Navy and all.
Them old men and their stories was what gave me a chance. Maybe my story can give some folks a chance too. Maybe folks can learn what it means to live free and what to do about it if'n they're not. I sure hope so.
