Wow! This story was an amazing jumpstart to this collection of novellas, Love off the Field. These are all football sports romance. This was an enemies to lovers trope. Reagan and Garret knew one another from college, now meeting again when Garret comes and plays football for the team Reagan works for. He’s always had a thing for her but she has always shot him down. Now that he’s around her every day, he’s got a second chance and he’s determined to make her his. I loved this story. It was funny and the spice was perfect. It was short, sweet and fun and got me hooked and ready to binge the next three!!

Oh my Gosh, this couple. This story was a bit more heavy, but omg was it amazing. Ivy and Jude meet in Miami when vacationing solo, and decide to hook up the week they’re together, then leave and move on with their lives. Once they are back home, they can’t stop thinking of one another and the connection they had. Jude left things in Ivy’s court when she left, leaving his phone number with her. When she gets a sign, she contacts him and they fall back into what they had begun on vacation, only with many obstacles living across country from one another. I loved Ivy, she was bold, flirty, assertive and fun! Jude was kind, sweet and respectful. The two of them were absolute FIRE. If you’re single, your expectations are going to raise, because you’re going to be looking for your own Jude!

Ok, well I was waiting for it. These two, Theo and Cameron, my favorite couple. Theo is on the football team with the other guys in this collection of stories, and he generally is always finding himself in some sort of trouble. After this last time, he’s given one last chance, and he is assigned Cameron, who works for the team, to move in and “baby-sit” him for a period of time to keep him out of trouble. He’s always had a thing for her, but she’s made it known she will never date any of the men on the team, especially a “playboy” like him. When she moves in with him, she sees a different side of him, and she realizes he’s not so bad after all. He also sees that she brings out a different, better Side of him he didn’t know existed. I absolutely love these two together. There is so much chemistry and true feelings for one another, I fell in love. I loved that none of it was planned or expected and they fell for one another organically. Another fantastic addition to this collection of novellas !

Oh Liam and Ava. These two broke my heart. They’ve been together since they were 14, together 15 years. Liam plays football, and it’s consumed their life forever. Ava has been feeling like the two of them have grown apart, and don’t do anything as a couple anymore, everything being centered around his career. When she talks to Liam and decides she needs a break, his eyes open to the reality facing him. Liam is still madly in love with her, and refuses to let their marriage fail. This is a sports romance, but tells an emotional story about two people in love, reclaiming what they had before Liam’s career took over their marriage. These two dug into my heart. I was so sad for the two of them as they were hurting and struggling. This author duo brings the emotions, heat and an amazing story.
All four of these novellas were fantastic. Each couple making it amazing in their own ways. It’s so hard to pick a favorite one when they each tell such an addicting story of their own. This author duo is always a one click 5 star read for me, and this one was so different. Absolutely loved!!
I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review.
