The third book in the series brings Dominic and Annie's story. It's a well written fated mates romance with tons of action, secrets, lies and romance. While spying on him and Dominic trying to figure her out truth is revealed and all come to her aid in saving her brother. The author paints her scenes perfectly and delivers another great addition to the series!

Bachelor Secret Wolf is the third title in the Shifter Wolves of Pleasant Valley series – and I’m having such a good time in this world. And although each story is complete in itself, I’d still recommend reading them in order since there is an over-arc theme to the entire series.
Annie has reached the end of her rope with her entitled, spoiled younger brother. This time he’s pushed his luck too far and has landed them both in such danger that she can’t even think straight. All she knows for certain is that in order to save herself and her brother’s lives she has to follow the instructions of this vicious slime-covered jerk ordering her to spy on a local sheriff. She has no choice as she sees it, but has no idea that what she’s being sent to do will open up another world and secure her future in it.
Dominic knew the stranger in town, an obvious abuse victim was keeping secrets — but then, he had a few of his own as well. He never expected the pull toward Annie or to finally realize that the woman he suspects is here for the wrong reasons is in fact his fated mate. It’s going to take some time, but he’s out to win her trust and find out exactly what is going on in that beautiful head of hers. Neither was prepared for the bonding that was starting between them, and neither was especially looking for romance at this time but when fate strikes it’s time to pay attention… even if one is in the most dangerous situation of their lives.
I adored Annie, she’s a good woman thrust into a world, a situation that she never asked for and handled it all like a champion. Dominic is one stubborn wolf convinced that love would never have him in its grips… wrong, so wrong. I love seeing the mighty Alpha types fall, they do it so well. There is certainly danger around almost every corner in Bachelor Secret Wolf, there are also good townfolks who will band together to fight off one nasty piece of work. I have no hope for Toby for it seems he will remain a whiny, entitled brat for the remainder of his days. And I loved catching up with familiar faces from the earlier books.
I loved being back in this world and look forward to the next visit. If you love a solid Shifter Romance full of danger, passion, laughter, and tears then you’ll feel right at home in the Shifter Wolves of Pleasant Valley series.

This one was better than the first two. The storyline in this book was good and grabbed my attention that I was unable to put the book down until I had read every single page.

Serena Meadows has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Annie and Dominic. Dominic is the sheriff of Pleasant Valley and has had his run-ins with Daniel Sparks. He and the town are now waiting to see what else Daniel is going to try and do. Annie has just gotten a call from her brother Toby and is told that some men are coming to get her and she is to go with them with no trouble. Annie doesn't know what her brother has gotten her into this time. Annie is taken to Mr. Sparks and this is when she is told that she is going to seduce Dominic to get information out of him. She is sent to Pleasant Valley to do this and if she doesn't get the information Mr. Sparks wants, her brother Toby will be killed. Mr. Sparks has hit Annie in the face to make the story he told her to tell more believable. She now has a black eye from where he hit her. She is in the drug store and she sees Dominic. To get his attention, she drops something on the floor. He comes over to help her and sees her black eye. He wants to know if she needs any help. This is when she tells him the story that Sparks told her to say. Each time Dominic is close to Annie he feels like he needs to protect her. After a few days, Dominic starts to think that maybe Sparks has sent Annie to spy on the town and him. Dominic has gotten tickets to the school carnival and he asks Annie if she wants to go with him in a non-date kind of way. She agrees to go with him as long as it doesn't cause him any trouble. They have a good time and things get a little heated between them. Dominic wants her but until he finds out if she is a spy for Sparks, he is not going to do anything about it. She gets a call from Sparks and it is not good. He is not happy that she doesn't have anything for him yet. After talking to Sparks, she is allowed to talk to Toby. All Toby wants to know is when she is going to get him out of there. She gets mad at him since she is the one cleaning up his mess. She is so over cleaning up Toby's messes that she decides to tell Dominic what she is doing in town and that she has lied to him from the start. She goes to see him at the sheriff's office but instead of telling him there, she invites him over for dinner. She is nervous about what will happen with she tells Dominic the truth. When she tells him her story, he doesn't get mad, he just wants to know everything that Sparks has said to her. She tells him that she didn't want to do any of what she was made to do but Sparks was holding Toby and if she didn't do what he wanted, he would kill Toby. Dominic tells her that he would not let that happen. He tells her that he needs her to tell the town what is going on. Dominic tells her that there is something that he needs to tell her and it is that he is a wolf shifter. She is not freaked out about this like he thought she would be.
Can Annie and Dominic get things with Mr. Sparks took care of and save Toby?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Another Bachelor Bites The Dust?
Annie has been cleaning up her brother Toby’s messes since their parents were killed when they were younger. So when he calls in a panic and says two men are coming to pick her up and to go with them or they are going to hurt him she does as she is told. When she gets there she meets Toby’s boss, Daniel Sparks, and finds out that Toby was trying to steal from him. She is at her wits ends with Toby, but she isn’t given a choice this time. Cooperate or Toby dies. She agrees to Sparks plan even though she hates it. She is supposed to seduce the sheriff and find out what his plans are for Sparks.
Dominic is Pleasant Valley’s sheriff and a confirmed bachelor. He and the whole town have been holding their breath trying to find out what Sparks next move will be against the town. Dominic knows he is planning something but knows it’s just a waiting game. When he sees a new women in town with a horrible black eye he knows she is a victim of domestic abuse. He offers to help her but she says she ran into a door. He knows that is a lie, but lets her go. She is supposed to stay in the hotel in town, but once she sees it she knows she can’t stay in that dump so finds some cabins to rent by the lake. Carter is a friend of Dominic’s and rents her a cabin but corners Dominic and wants to know what he is doing to help Annie. Apparently most of the town is also wondering the same thing, so Dominic goes out to the cabins to talk to her. Once he touches her he knows that she is his mate, but he also knows that her story about an abusive boyfriend that she has left is also full of holes. Still he can’t help himself and asks her out. While they are on their date Annie overhears some of the towns people talking about all of the terrible things Sparks has done to other towns and ranches trying to get their property. She knows she can’t do what Sparks wants her to but doesn’t know what to do. If she confides in Dominic she is afraid he will hate her, but if she doesn’t get some help both she and her brother will probably end up dead.
This is the third book in the series and each one gets better. Don’t miss it!.

Sheriff Dominic Stewart has decided that he will remain a bachelor forever. For one thing he is too busy to woo a woman, he has seen two of his friends fall for women that they dote on and he knows this would just distract him from his work. He also doesn't want to subject a woman to the constant worry that the wives of police officers always suffer. Things are pretty tense in Pleasant Valley right now as everyone waits for the next attack by Sparks and his minions. There have been no recent cattle mutilations and no farmers have suddenly sold their land after a mysterious fire, but everyone knows it is just a matter of time. Dominic is sure Sparks is going to send someone to spy on them from a little closer up than the ones currently hanging around. Someone like the redhead with the black eye that is staying out at Carter's cabins. An abused woman to draw sympathy as she searches for their secrets. No matter how much his magic flares when he is around her, he has to be cautious. Right?

Dominic Stewart is the Sheriff of Pleasant Valley and has recently had issues with a evil man Daniel Sparks who has ruined a few towns by killing cattle and scaring the towns people into selling there property’s and has now turned up in his. Annie has always bailed her brother Toby out of more trouble than she can say and now he calls her saying his boss wants to speak to her and that two of his goons are coming for her, not long after she is taken to see Daniel Sparks who tells her that her brother was caught trying to seal from him and if she values both there lives she will a job for him by spying on the Sheriff of pleasant valley and his plans for him and to make her cover real she he gives her a black eye and threatens her if she tells anybody. When the sheriff meets Annie she has a black eye and she tells him she ran into a door but he knows she is lying but lets it go for now. Annie cannot stay in the hotel and rents a cabin from Cater who is the sheriff’s friend and when he calls he asks what he is doing about Annie. Dominic goes to see her and when he gently touches her he instantly knows she is his mate and that she is keeping secrets from him but he hopes she will tell him what’s going on. Can these two save the town from Daniel Sparks and can Dominic save his mate and her brother as well and have a future together or not.

Can she do it? Can Annie be an undercover spy? Can she be a double agent? Annie gets kidnapped by the bad guy, a really bad guy. She wasn’t trained for any of this but that bad guy, Mr Sparks, is holding her brother hostage. Annie either cooperates or her brother dies.
As you can see, this isn’t your typical werewolf story… nope, not at all. Annie’s innocence works in her favor. She’s scared and it shows, which is exactly what Sparks wants. Keep her scared and she’ll do his bidding. Ahhhh, but as they say, there’s more than one way to skin a cat … uhhh, a wolf in this case.
Annie has no clue that werewolves exist, but wow, she’s a quick learner when she finds out. Her target is the local sheriff. She is suppose to seduce him and obtain information for Sparks…. and that she does. But will the tables turn on Sparks? Her goal is to save her brother … at all costs. This series just keeps getting better and better. Annie is just a girl who ends up raising her younger brother Toby. She has always cleaned up his messes and when he brings her into another mess, Annie comes face-to-face with Daniel Sparks (the man who has been terrorizing Pleasant Valley). In order to save her brother, Annie has to do everything she can to get information on what the Pleasant Valley residents are plotting for Daniel Sparks. Dominic is the sheriff of Pleasant Valley and is a shifter. He is a confirmed bachelor and has no plans of entertaining the idea of love, marriage and kids. When he runs into Annie at the drug store, he is pulled to her. He does not believe all of her story, but still can’t resist the pull.
As Annie gets to know Dominic and the people of Pleasant Valley, will she be able to go through with her plans to help Sparks bring down this town? Drama, secrets, truths, passion and chemistry will make it hard for you to put the book down. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series about Paul!

I liked this book. It had a man, Dominic, that was so stubbornly a confrim bachelor, that when his mate comes along, he fights his pull to her as hard as he can. Then there's the woman, Annie, trying to save her brother from an evil mad man. But when their attraction becomes over powering, they must come up with a plan to save her brother. Dominic, being a sheriff, will not allow his woman to be used by the evil mad man and he'll do what ever it takes to keep her safe , save her brother, and the little town he holds dear.
There's plenty of suspension, drama, danger, romance and steamy love scene. I couldn't stop reading until the end.
Handsome, over protective, and all around good guy, that's Dominic. Beautiful and stubborn, trying to protect her little brother, that's Annie.

This book rocks! The next in the Pleasant Valley series and it’s Sheriff Dominic’s turn. He’s a confirmed bachelor but all that changes when Annie rolls into town. She’s been forced to work for Mr. Sparks in order to save her brother. Dominic is drawn to her immediately but is sure something about her story isn’t quite right. Their relationship develops as she tries to do what Mr. Sparks asked. It is a joy to read as the town’s most adamant bachelor is brought to his knees by this sassy red headed woman! In the end, she will realize that she just can’t bring herself to bring harm to the people of Pleasant Valley and she works with Dominic and the rest of the town to attempt to bring Mr. Sparks to his knees.

Mr. Sparks need to be stopped but Dominic don't have strong evidence that prove that he is the culprit of the things that are happening around him. He is weary and don't want to have a romance or commitments.

I borrowed Bachelor Secret Wolf ~ Shifter Wolves of Pleasant Valley ~ Book 3, by Serena Meadows, author from the Kindle Unlimited Program.
Dominic the shifter sheriff of Pleasant Valley is determined to remain single and devote his life to being the best sheriff to the town he loves. He didn't expect to meet Annie, a cute little red-head with a black eye.
Annie is in town as a spy for Mr. Sparks, the evil man heading up the gang set on taking over Pleasant Valley. He is holding Annie's brother, Toby as hostage to gain Annie's reluctant cooperation.
The romance with Dominic, getting to know the wonderful people in Pleasant Valley, and what Mr. Sparks has done to neighboring towns changes Annie's mind about helping Sparks even if he kills her brother and her both. The clan follows Dominic's plan for a fake State Police raid for a happy ending.

This honest and voluntary review of Bachelor Secret Wolf by Serena Meadows has no spoilers. Dominic and Annie's story is the third in the Shifter Wolves of Pleasant Valley series. A fun and action-packed romance that can easily be read as stand-alone but is best enjoyed when read in series order. There are glimpses of the previous characters because of the ongoing storyline but this doesn't distract the reader from Dominic and Annie. Daniel Sparks is at it again and it's up to Annie and Dominic to stop his current plans. Unfortunately, Dominic is about to find himself front and center in a plan of intrigue and betrayal. When Annie's brother gets into trouble again, he ends up dragging her in with him. Mr. Sparks wants her to spy on Dominics and even hits her to make a bruise, so she has a story that's believable. However, after she starts getting to know Dominic and the others in town, she knows she can't keep up with the plan even with the risk to her brother. When things heat up between her and Dominic, she comes clean. Will he forgive her deception? Can he help her?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Where do we find Dominic going? What does he do for a living? What happens with Annie when she is at the grocery store? When Dominic meets her, what happens? What phone call does Annie get every 2-3 days? When she is giving a 48 hour deadline, what does she do? What threats are made? How long does it take for Annie to let it all fly? What is the end result? Read and see!!! It was a very tense and interesting, yet at the same time I laughed several times, type of read!!

This is the third book in the shifter Wolves of Pleasant Valley series. You can read this book as a standalone but it is connected to the other books and there is a secondary story arc that starts in book one. This is Dominic’s story. Dominic is the town sheriff and a wolf shifter. He's determined to stay a bachelor, no wife and no kids but it seems that fate has a different plan for him when Annie shows up in town. Annie is in town and is lying to everyone to save her brother. Dominic and Annie's attraction is strong but what will Dominic do when he finds out her secret?.

Annie’s brother Toby was caught steeling from Mr. Sparks and she was kidnapped and blackmailed into going to Pleasant Valley to spy on the sheriff Dominic to find out what they planned to do to him. He hit her in the face to give credence to being an abused victim, but the more she interacted with the people the worse her conscience felt especially when she heard that he had hurt people. She told Dominic the truth and everyone helped get her brother and they were bonded! Good book!.

A confirmed bachelor , a woman in trouble , an evil foe threatning a whole community , a hostage , and fate .. you just know something is going to break . Well written and a great continuity to a series that can actually be read as a stand alone book but why would you want to when there are others just as good and more to come ? If you like big growely males and strong when they have to be females this is perfect for you.

This is the third book in an enjoyable, well-written series, that brings Dominic and Annie's story, an engaging fated mates romance with lots of action, romance as well as some secrets and lies. Although each story is complete in itself, I’d recommend reading them in order since there is a continuing theme running through the series.

Dominic and Annie’s story has these two on opposites sides only because her brother gets into trouble again and she is left once more to clean up his mess. Her job is to seduce Sheriff Dominic to see what he knows about Sparks next plan. She finds she want to help the good guys (sheriff and the town) but also her and her brother. But how.

I enjoy reading shifter books and this book was a bit of a slow burn for me but I enjoyed the development of the love story between Dominic and Annie.
It is well written with likeable characters.
There's danger, drama, betrayal, deceit, inner turmoil, chemistry, steam, and some action that will keep you interested.
Overall, it was interesting and entertaining.

Annie has been cleanup after her brother, since their parents died. When the latest mess, Toby trying to steal from his boss, Daniel Sparks, puts her in his cross hairs to make up for it. He wants her to spy on the Sheriff of Pleasant Valley, Dominic Stewart and find out his plans.

Dominic, the confirmed bachelor, doesn't know what hit him when he met Annie. And poor Annie has a lot on her hands when she is forced into meeting Dominic. Then there is Toby, a spoiled brat, expecting his sister to make everything all better. I loved this book, I couldn't put it down. Just what I love....fated mate, wolf shifter stories. Love these characters and the growth we get to see that happens in each installment of this series.

This is the third book in this series. Dominic meets a battered Annie and is attracted to her but is she friend or foe? The town is still stressed by the ranch attacks and the mysterious Mr Sparks. Romance blossoms but so does the danger. The storyline and characters are interesting.
