i tried so hard to put up with this but a line was crossed when the mmc said he was gonna teach the fmc to suck his toes. i know he doesn't wash his nasty ass crusty ass dog breath smelling old fart feet. goodbye.

side note: i think siggy shade is lowkey camp as fuck so i kinda respect her work just a bit but this was really bad 💀 siggy you are a woman of the highest level of literature but pls do better

Woww! This book is scorching hot and VERY taboo. I loved every second of it. Get ready to clutch your pearls ladies...

Wicked Lessons is told in dual POV of Marius, the professor, and Phoenix, the student. Phoenix is in desperate need of financial support after being abandoned by her father, she is used to reading smutty books and loves 50 shades of grey, so why not find a hot and rich sugar daddy? When Phoenix finds sexy Professor Segul browsing through a sex shop, its seems like the perfect candidate. She ends up getting way more than she bargained for when professor Segul turns out to be a master of BDSM who becomes incredibly obsessed with her...

There are so many spicy tropes in this story that I absolutely love: minor age-gap, protective/controlling romance, professor/student, mafia and taboo romance to name a few! I discovered new kinks that I was completely unaware that existed... Reading about dom/sub power play is so exhilarating and hot, I will need to check out more books by this author!

Wicked Lessons is a VERY spicy age gap, mafia romance told from dual POV…which I LOVE. This was also one of the first mafia romances (and first age gap romance) I’ve read and I def enjoyed those aspects! If you’re looking for something you can binge, want a book where the spice starts basically on page one, then def check this one out! Be sure to check any trigger warnings prior to reading and please note that this is def adult fiction and meant for mature audiences.

phoenix being named hedwig is so hilarious to me and everyone but being so random made me add in a whole extra star.

Starts really cringy, and doesn't really stop throughout.

The main character's cold analysing of getting a sugar daddy and experimenting with kink is surprisingly uncomfortable to read.

And even though the steamy scenes have almost nothing missing, there were definitely parts that needed better editing.

I enjoyed this book a lot!! The writing is pretty good and the smut is a 10/10!!! However there was no character development. If you just want some dark romance smut this is a perfect book but don’t expect a lot of character development or any really detailed plot things.
It’s a pretty light and easy read which I enjoyed!

True to its name, WICKED LESSONS offered a wickedly fun time while I was reading. I think this book will particularly appeal to fans of Fifty Shades of Grey for the similar themes, though I found this one much more appealing. Key factors were the forbidden romance aspect (professor/student) and the BDSM sex. If those sound like things that appeal to you, I highly recommend this book!

Something I appreciated about Wicked Lessons was the plot element. True, the main focus was definitely the hot romance between Marius and Phoenix, but I feel like the gangster element added amazing tension the more I became invested in the relationship. However, the amazing chemistry between the main characters carried the story! These characters won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, as Marius is very possessive and controlling, while Phoenix can come across as a little too reckless, but I really enjoyed them and found their personalities to be very fitting to this sort of story.

The only thing that didn’t completely convince me was some of the inner dialogue regarding the age gap. Phoenix is twenty-one, while Marius is twenty-eight. Personally, I didn’t feel like it was a big enough gap to justify some of Phoenix’s thoughts on the matter, but others might feel differently!

This has got to be one of my spiciest reads to date. And my favourite teacher/student romance.

At first, I thought the author was just trying to throw in as many tropes as possible, but they all work so well together!

I can't wait for any more future works by this author.

i felt like the characters should not have developed the feelings they did. there wasnt any depth to them, yeah they've both gone through some rough things in their lives, but i feel like it could have been executed better. them falling in love didnt make sense to me

OMG! So this book, like, I can’t even explain.
Number one, VERY SPICY. So reader beware. And also some triggers.
If you’re still reading, this book was everything fifty shades should have been where the BDSM aspects are concerned.
The teacher/student thing was played soooo well.
The mafia actions is INTENSE.
Phoenix and Marius are amazing and beautiful and so well written.
This book was over 500 pages and I finished it in like a 24 hour span.
This is totally worth the read if you’re cool with the spice.
100% recommend and can’t wait for the next Marvelous Monsters novel (:

Phoenix crosses paths with Marius in a kink store and they share a little fun together. But she soon finds out that he is her professor and he wants to call it quits. She'll do anything to make him hers, and he has enough dark secrets that she's not afraid to use to make that happen.

Siggy Shade is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine. From Tentacle Entanglement to Wicked Lessons, they have given me some really fun and steamy reads that have left me needing more.

I loved how dark this book was, and the amount of spice they put in it. The book is mostly steam, but the little bit of plot that is there is actually really good. The characters were also well developed and had a great connection throughout the story. I loved Phoenix and the fact she wasn't afraid to go after what she wanted, even resorting to underhanded methods to get it.

I totally did NOT expect to be so utterly consumed by Phoenix and Marius but omg was I completely captivated with their devious and decadent love story. I absolutely adored the alternating dual POV chapters and felt that their slowburn buildup was super believable and all of the love scenes were spectacularly written. I also found myself laughing aloud, like this was a seriously funny book with its quippy, clever banter and unexpected interactions!!

Note: This is an adult, age gap, professor/student, bdsm, mafia romance novel--definitely for 18+ readers ONLY.

Good - Flaming - God i literally burned my way through this book in one day. I couldnt put it down. Marius is one kinky Professor thats for sure but under all of that spanking and what not he has a dark background. With the chance meeting (but not on Phoenix's part) with Phoenix who gets entangled in all of the complications in his life. The main one being the teacher/student dynamic that they have and that the majority of this book is them exploring their highly sexual relationship. Marius opens Phoenix up to everything he likes to do to his partners and its an eye opener for her. Phew so hot!! A dark, twisted and deliciously seductive read. I loved reading it

I love mafia romances.. this one didn’t disappoint! Don’t be fooled with the mafia element… the spice is 🥵…
I enjoyed the dynamic between the characters. It’s very focused on their sexuality for sure.

The world is dark but intriguing, tropes included was elements of bdsm, a minor age gap more so professor and student romance. Can’t wait to learn more about this series! Looking forward to reading more by the author.

Do you know the phrase “sweating like a sinner in church?” Well, it’s fitting for this book, because it was HAWT!

Wicked Lessons was an unputdownable smutty read. The romance is taboo, with an age gap mafia romance between a professor and a student, with some BDSM. When they meet, Marius and Phoenix don’t even know that, but once they do, they don’t stop their encounters. The heat between the two was undeniable and intense, leading to some of the longest smexy scenes I’ve had the pleasure to read.

While the sexual chemistry was all there, I would have loved for there to be a few more bonding moments between the two. I felt like I was missing The Moment, the one where lust turns into love. Nevertheless, this is a must read for all of us smut lovers!

Woah! This story is hot, hot, hot! Phoenix is sort of sweet and inexperienced, but after she is abandoned by her dad, she decides she needs a sugar daddy. I really enjoyed her somewhat awkwardness and the Professor was very dominant. There were a couple things that weren’t really my thing, but it was well written :)
