She was meant to be kept pure. Then she was taken for breeding.
When she was carried off, Talia was an innocent virgin, a maiden sheltered from the rough appetites of men for all of her twenty-one years. But Kavari warriors do not ask, they take.
No matter how prettily she blushes, she will be stripped bare, spanked soundly for any attempt at escape, and then shared and enjoyed in the most shameful ways imaginable. But Talia's new masters do not intend only to make her theirs in bed. They plan to make her theirs completely.
Publisher's Note: Taking Their Maiden is a stand-alone novella which is the third entry in the Kavari Masters series. It includes spankings and rough, intense sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.
Demi Lane is a nerd with a fetish for filthy talking characters and dark chocolate. When she’s not dreaming up kinky stories, you can find her watching anime, playing video games, or checking out the latest in trashy sci-fi or over the top fantasy. She also keeps herself busy with three cats and a dog and a husband who knows not to ask what she’s thinking about when she spaces off.
I have no words. This was pure filth. Don’t go into this book thinking it’s going to be a beautifully written story because it’s not. It’s just pure fucking and I’m not mad about out it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 MMFF breeding Dp Toys Pegging Lots of fluid Dub con Spanking
Only sons are born. Kavari must go elsewhere to find maidens so their kind will continue. Talia was raised with no knowledge of what goes on between a man and woman, let alone two men and two women. In descriptive, explicit detail, Talia is taken by Klev, Blaise and Indre. The story entails less than a day as they expose Talia to their very extreme, sexual lifestyle.
I like to think that I am fairly tolerant and open-minded in thoughts, word and deed. I realize that what one person likes is not necessarily what another will approve. There are books, I refuse to read. There are books I don’t necessarily agree with the author, but I can usually find something nice to say. Simply put, there are not many books I whip out the one-star or two-star attitude.
That said …. I was so disappointed. First, do not expect a plot. It’s one huge sexual orgy after another. I would have been okay with the latter but without a plot, I skimmed through most of the book. Throughout, I was thinking WTH! That poor girl. Remember, Talia is innocent as can be. Klev, Blaise, and Indre know this, but they explain absolutely nothing! Because this is a story, I expected to understand why they did what they did. Think how Talia felt. I imagine she was terrified. She was told she would be safe with them. But she had no understanding, no experience, and no one to explain the basics to her. On top of that, they give her no leeway for her innocence. Forgive me, but I really expected some dialogue and description showing Talia what they wanted instead of just WHAM! BAM! You did that wrong. I expected better of you!?! WTH!
Enough said!
Another point of contention is the cover. The cover I was shown on Booksprout had three men. Imagine the surprise to find out one of these men was actually a woman?! I was so confused. I went to check the cover. Yep. it’s three men on the cover. Read it again. Yep. Two men and a woman which equaled out to be two men and two women including Talia. When I went to write the review, I checked the covers on Amazon, Goodreads, Bookbub, and LibraryThing. This title was not available on Bookbub. Booksprout showed three men on the cover. Amazon showed two men and one woman on the cover. Goodreads showed three men on the cover with the title, “Taking Their Maiden” as Book 2.5 in the Kavari Masters series. LibraryThing showed two men and one woman on the cover. Adding to the cover confusion is that MY copy of Taking Their Maiden shows three men. I must add a disclaimer as I received my copy prior to publication so technically, I had an advanced review copy (ARC) as did Booksprout. Because ARCs are subject to change, this should be forgiven.
Regrets to everyone who enjoyed the book, I had no choice but to give this book a one-star rating for the reasons listed in this review. While this book is not for me, I do thank Demi Lane for allowing me to read her book and wish her success in all she does.
I received this book as an advance review copy free from Booksprout. I have read and reviewed this book voluntarily. --Brenda, JustViews
This is a simply wonderful read, great characters and storyline impossible to put down
Talia has been reared in a mission where she has been kept away from most every day life and her chastity has been guarded religiously and this ensures that she is a maiden that is for the Kavari Warriors, in her case she was gifted a necklace that had been to inform three warriors who their special maiden was.
When they had seen Talia wearing the necklace, they had known that she had been the maiden they had been waiting for, she would be the female that would make up their foursome and that would bring Blaise, Indre and Kiev the child the desperately hoped for and the fourth for their group.
When she had initially run away and the three of them had to find her and bring her back to their safety, they could appreciate her fears as the couple she had been with had treated her very poorly and this had made her fearful of the three Kavari warrior who she believed simply wanted females to bear them young and to be used as sexual entertainment.
Talia had been found by her masters and they had been sure to explain to her that she would be punished for running however that she was a dearly cared for member of their group and that they would keep her safe and protected and loved as she deserved to be. However, they also explained that when she broke the rules or failed to listen to their direction especially where her safety was concerned, she would be disciplined, then she would be forgiven and loved by each of them. I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Talia is the maiden who is to fulfill the breeding needs and sexual requirements of a triad of Kavari warriors, Blaise, Klev, and Indre. She will experience sexual pleasure and pain from her protectors as they discipline and teach her to love them. This definitely a rough introduction to sexual experiences for a sheltered virgin who has no real understanding of sex at all - bondage, spanking, rough sex, oral, anal, and more. This is definitely an explicit dark reverse harem read - more erotica than romance, with minimal emotional development of the characters. The biggest drawback for me was the lack of FF warning in the RH. The cover shows three males and based on that I reasonably assumed that the RH triad of three Kavari warriors were all males, and not two male warriors and a female one. I would not have read this if I had known this prior to reading.
This novella was ok but it felt even lighter than you would expect of a novella. There wasn't much other than the claiming. If I hadn't read the first two novels I don't think I would have any idea of the world or what to expect. And despite them telling Talia she is for more than to have boys I didn't really believe them. The first few pages are Klev thinking about how he hopes the kids look like the other chick so she can feel like they belong to her. And the end of the book focuses on kids too. So that and owning her. But as sometimes happens in novellas there wasn't room for an emotional connection. Between the characters or for me.
As an aside the cover is misleading. It is mffm, which was a bit different for this style of book. It would be nice to show the expanded horizons a bit better.

Doesn’t move plot along, includes a female “Master”
Essentially no progress on plot. This one focuses only on the erotic scenes. Nothing between the men (not my interest, so glad for that personally) but there is intimacy between the Kavari female master and the Maiden, which I could have gone without. If there’s a disclosure somewhere in the beginning of the book, be sure to read it as this is a very explicit book, in my opinion.
Possible SPOILER?: Seemed like the progression of the maiden’s intimate experience and interest etc. moved very quickly considering that she had practically zero understanding prior to this encounter.
Quick read.
Not a bad quick read, I read it in one day. I’ll continue this series to hopefully see some advancement in the plot. I find the Kavari idea intriguing.
Talia has been kept pure so that she can be a breeder for the Kavari warrior. The triad consists of Blaise, Klev, and Mistress Indre. The storyline could be described at being cherished and loved by her two Masters and Mistress. The whole book is nothing but an orgy between Blaise, Klev, Indre and Talia. It was a brutal introduction to passion, lust, rough sex, and love. There was bondage, spankings, oral sex, anal sex and much more sex. When I saw the cover of the book it was surprising to see a woman as part of the triad. All I can say is if you like lots of hot, steamy sex this is a story for you.

This book was not what I expected. Like my title indicates, I was quite leary at first even tho I had read the previous two. I was Leary of this book simply because there was a woman warrior on the cover which kind of ‘alarmed’ me at first! While it was a different read because of this…Inde, the woman warrior, is involved with Talia the same way as the two men, she is different by being more in tune with how a woman feels and is very loving and cherish’s Talia while a very dominant man’s love, desire, protectiveness is different. It turned out too be not only something completely different but a very good read, IF you enjoy this kind of story….Erotica.
This book was in my recommendations after reading some other sci fi, fantasy books. The description seemed interesting but it was definately lacking in story line. I wouldn't call it a story, novella or book, just a very long descriptive, kinky orgy. At the beginning it hints at the king wanting Talia and towards the end he comes in and makes some demands. I thought that might lead to some plot twist but nope it ends the next morning with a bath. My fist thought was seriously I spent a hour and a half reading that for what exactly???? It was definately very anticlimactic and disappointing.
I have loved all the other books in this series, but this book im sorry to say just didnt do anything for me. It really had no story line. And it was just it seemed to me about having sex with Talias masters and mistress. Which is another thing im not really into reading about. (Women on women).
I do hope that there will be another story coming because this really is a good series to read.

Every now and then I love a kinky sci-fi story. This did not disappoint. I read the warnings and have read other books by Demi Lane so I am so glad I read this. Yes there is kink and yes there are steamy scenes and it is just what I was expecting. Sometimes you just need to read a book like this. Great story.

I feel that Talia was ripped off. After teasing us with the possibilities that Talia’s story could be, all she got was a novella consisting of her first night and morning with her new masters. That’s it. No story. None at all. Nada. Zip. Zilch. I bumped my rating up by one star because this book is hot as hell.
This well-written story surprised me in several ways, all of them now appreciated. I never considered barbarians dominating, yet still being kind to their conquest. The picture usually presented is conquer, dominate, and selfishness on the conquerors side, or some magical transformation where love miraculously happens. Doubtful, in the world as we know it! This story gives a picture of kindness and maybe love from the conquerors. I enjoyed that especially, along with the erotic shenanigans, that I love to imagine! Excellent short story!
You need to read the others to kind of understand about how these ones are together. This kinda of makes it seem Talia is only that for breeding but in the others it’s clears she’s not, and is in fact a treasured part of them. Also cover shows 3 men when in fact on of her masters is female. Otherwise just a quick book about how these 4 started out.
This was definitely more of a filler book. A book to have in between books that have more of the over all story in them. A little disappointing not to have more of the story because I wanted to know what would happen to the king.
Plot:2⭐️ Spice:4⭐️ I’ve read more deprived books but because of the multiple partners I give it a 4, maybe 4.5
Taking their maiden continues the Negative Masters storyline. Adding additional information regarding their kings greed and corruption. Though each book stands alone I am intrigued to learn more about their community. Sex, punishment, rewards, love, all works together for ultimate unions.
This book was basically a novella. It was Talia's story, which happened the year before Esme's story, but told later. Overall it was only interesting because of Indre being a female master and Talia not being as hard headed or independent as the other girls in the other stories. The cover used here is different than the one on the book I borrowed.
Taking Their Maiden is book three in the series Kavari Masters by author Demi Lane. This tale is very intimate, very specific for these individuals. Their story- personalities and wishes. It sort of vers away from the plot of the other stories in this series. Which is the only complaint I have. It is very compact- fast paced. Still lots of heat. Enjoy!!
This novella had loads of heat between two males and two females. A young maiden is promised to sire the next generation of warriors. Not a lot of story.

Smoking hot but ended abruptly… Talia was raised to be an innocent vessel for her Kavari Masters, Klev, Blaise, and Indre. Once she’s taken by them, she’s given a glimpse into what it’s like to be cherished and treasured… I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
Not really a story, but a description of a lot of sexual positions. There was one little blip when the king came in. Led to believe that he would try and take her, but nothing came of thst.
This is a short quick read that is erotic in both language and physical interaction. The entire story seems to revolve around Talia sexually servicing Indre, Balise and Klev. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and are voluntarily leaving a review.
The lesbian aspect was pushed very strongly. The maiden almost spent more time with the woman than the men. The whole f/f doesn’t do it for me. The other books were better in the series.
Well I’m glad I read this explaining how Talia came to be there. Boy did they wear her out! 😂🔥 Klev, Blaise and Indre all strong characters and fierce! More fierce sexually than the first two stories. Looking forward to the next book. 💜💜💜💜💜
I did not read past first same sex scene. Just not my cup of tea. I'm glad I got this through Kindle Unlimited because I would feel cheated if I paid for it. This information should be noted in the description of this book.
This is a good, well written, very hot, RH romance. The characters are interesting. This story starts as the retrieval part enters their stronghold. It does not have the plot as easy to identify. I am looking forward to the next story.
This was a really quick read. It was all sex and nothing more. How the author was able to write and whole book about one super long sex scene was quite an accomplishment. It was a little over the top for me. I hope the 4th book isn't like this one.
No actual story. Just their night together. 3 stars because there was the tiniest bit with the king, but had I read it as a true standalone I wouldn't even know why that was important. Felt like a random erotica.
Erotic and descriptive, but way to short on story for my tastes.I do like the premise of these tales and the soft and loving feelings the characters have for each other. I would just like more story to these polymorphic relationships.
