The man I'm most afraid of is the only one who can save me - and set my heart on fire.
I expected I'd have to jump through hoops to keep Luca Bruno satisfied until I found a way to escape his clutches.
I expected I'd have to sacrifice my dignity to protect my twin sister from being sold to him.
I never expected to get caught up in the bloody feud between the Bruno family and their most dangerous rivals.
Yet the feelings Luca stirs in me are the most surprising thing of all. The emotion. The connection.
He's a murderer. A monster.
A monster willing to burn the world down to avenge me.
If I let him do it, that would make me no better than him. It would tie us together forever.
Somehow, the idea of forever doesn't chill my blood the way it used to... because somewhere along the way, he's become the sanctuary I've always needed...
This book made me so happy. This is book 2 in the Bruno Crime Family series, and is the epitome of what I want in a mafia romance. This book was the perfect companion to book 1 and the story as a whole was just perfection.
Once again, Delilah’s strength, sass, and stubbornness was enthralling. The writing was fantastic, the character development was even more beautiful. Introduction of new characters was seamless. The entire story was just… so darn good.
This is the second book in the series that follows Delilah and Luca. Loved how their love evolved and how Luca became a better man for it, there should be a 3rd book so looking forward to reading it when it comes out!.

Missed Opportunity (just read it's not a bad review)
Maybe I read too many mafia romances or maybe my favorite have gruesome torture scenes. Call me cynical, but I really wanted someone to be kept alive to be tortured for months or at least a week. All the bad guys got off too easy. Anyway, that's my only major gripe. I felt Luca was a little whiney in Indebted and I know about the redeeming character arc but it just felt a little off for me. I liked both books well enough to give it 4.25 stars. Oh mind your trigger warnings in Debt (book one).
Imagine being accepted as currency for a debt. That is the craziest thought. Delilah was soft and fierce at the same time. Her life experiences taught her to accept what was happening to her; but it also taught her to protect those she loved. I flipped and flopped in my opinion of Luca. Delilah was right when she said his life was not the only one affected by tragedy, but you learn to live with it and move on.

Luca and delilahs continuing story. As Delilah comes to terms with her decisions and feelings she has conflicting between her heart and mind more trouble comes for the Bruno family. This story has you hooked and the characters rub you through all the emotions, steamy scenes, drama, action and more!.

Buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a deliciously dark story 😊. All the makings of a great a mafia story because there will be suspense, betrayal, sleepless nights, bad judgement or not, secrets, violence, hope, and maybe love. By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! Can’t say I didn’t warn you. This is the second book in The Bruno Crime Family it isn’t a standalone in fact it picks up right where the first one left off and to recap one twin took the place of the other since she was the stronger of the two considering she her abusive ex. sold her as payment for the debt he acquired but one thing for sure neither Luca or Delilah expected the intense chemistry between them or the magnetic pull to be so strong or for that same pull keeping the connected that is until his enemies notice putting her and her sister right in the middle now he has more reason then one to keep his girl safe. Luca has finely accepted his feeling for Delilah but when he finds out the truth, he has been with the wrong sister everything becomes a little clearer the love she has to give of herself to protect her twin is loyalty like he hasn’t seen add to that loving her is easy. Deanna’s (the twin sister) slimy ex. isn’t playing both sides and lead them down a road that will get them all killed so Luca knows what he needs to do no what he must do to keep his girl and her sister safe so taking out his enemies at bay is number one getting his girl is number two and all else will take a back seat but will he be able to pull off what he plans, will Deanna’s ex. get what’s coming to him (hopefully so), will his enemies get their hands on either girl, and is there a HEA written for them.

It was an appropriate sequel to the duet. I was definitely more engaged in book 2 than in book one. Truths are exposed, layers are peeled away which brings Delilah and Luca together as a couple. They definitely have their bumps (her obduction and torture) and her sisters' beating by Greg, but all in all the story progress's on all fronts. Luca seems more like a Don in book 2 in his actions and his strategy.
The sexual attraction between Delilah and Luca is taken up several notches with lots of sex and lust filled sequences, but the "love" story between these two characters starts to evolve making it more than just sex between the two main characters. Once Luca finds out who she really is the pieces of the puzzle start to fall into place and the story is then able to move on.
The supporting characters in this book are awesome and add so much to this story. The author was careful not to introduce too many supporting characters, but made sure that the ones' she did introduce were quality characters.
There were some typo's in both books' that this author needs to address. Perhaps enlist a good editor next time.
Luca and Delilahs story picks up in Indebted and is a fantastic story filled with action, excitement and intrigue. The extremes that Luca goes to for Delilah and Deanna to be safe is endless. He knows no bounds when it comes to Delilah or his family and will stop at nothing to ensure they have all they could ever need or want. Dealing with the disgusting Greg is just a small part of it all. Vincent's story is next and I can't wait to see what's coming for the Bruno Crime Family.
Well great ending to this story loved every minute if I couldn't put it down, Luca and Delilah got their HEA and everything worked out for them, I guess Vincents book will finalise all the rest of what happened in the twists and Betrayal of the other Mafia families
