Messed with my heart in all the right ways. This small town romance with the forbidden best friend’s little sister got me in all my feels. Maddie and Logan’s romance is riddled with hurdles and past emotional baggage. They really shouldn’t fall for each other when they both have wounds that need healing, but they simply can’t fight the growing chemistry between them. Maddie is your sweet girl next door who has been heartbroken by an ex-fiancé. Logan is the damaged, rugged hero who comes back to his childhood town. There paths cross at a vending machine in a hospital where the attraction takes roots. The steamy scenes were spicy, and plenty of them—thank you for that. There were so many times I wanted to jump in the book to defend the characters from those who did them wrong, but the author did an excellent job of giving the main characters their final says. I won’t give spoilers, but there were a few times I nearly choked laughing (Logan’s comment to the vile Courtney in Tommy’s bar—chef’s kiss). The book was well written with a solid plot. I enjoyed the tension that built between the characters. If small town romance/forbidden brother’s best friend are your bag, then this book is for you. My rating is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After a horrible car accident that leaves Maddie scarred and her brother in the hospital, Maddie meets a hot stranger in the hospital waiting room. Little does she know he isn’t a stranger at all, but her brother’s best friend whom she hasn’t seen in 10 years.
I could not put this book down. The last book that I had like this was when I read the After Series. I kept telling myself I am going to stop after I finish this chapter, but that always ended with ok one more chapter. The only reason I had to stop was because I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Maddie and Logan’s story was great and I can’t wait to read more from @daniellemarxbooks.

Hot, small town romance
Maddie is back home after a bad break up and Logan is back in town to deal with the aftermath of his fathers death. After an accident puts Maddie’s brother and Logan’s best friend in hospital the pair are thrown together. Their are sparks between them from the start, but the bro-code keeps Logan away, well for a little while anyway. Maddie hasn’t coped all that well with her break up and Logan has a history as the town’s bad boy, so they try hard to resist temptation, but it doesn’t work. They think they can just be a fun, hot distraction for each other, but it becomes so much more. Logan past makes him doubt himself and causes a rift between them. This story is sad at times, but also hot and loving. Can’t wait to read more of this series.

a sweet romance
The instant attraction between Logan and Maddie leads to an unexpected and exciting relationship with complications. I love the small town feel to the story and Logan’s close circle of friends. I did enjoy that while the mutual attraction drew these two together, their relationship built from trying to stay friends. While there are obstacles in both Logan and Maddie’s lives working against them finding happiness together, it was a warm, feel good, happy ever after story

A flirty Forbidden romance
For anyone wanting a flirty read. This had me gripped from the off. I found myself falling in love with all the characters and couldn't wait to settle down with Logan each night. A really easy read that keeps you turning the page.
