It was a nice story, the end seemed to be a bit rushed and maybe not all plots were closed, but still good. They got married, and in the end the epilogue says that many years passed a lot of time(really long) when now vampires and werewolves are only stuff of legends, but it seems is still one of them talking by writing this bcs they say they are grateful their lives are long and are still together/in love. So I don't think was a sad ending.
