Born, raised and currently based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Rob Guillory is most known for his art on Image Comics' longrunning series CHEW. Written by John Layman, the book has achieved much success, winning two Harvey Awards (including Best New Talent for Guillory) and two Eisner Awards (Best New Series in 2010 and Best Continuing Series in 2011).
Another exciting chapter in this cult series. While the previous issue focused more on emotional dynamics and internal tensions, this one leans into a more explicit kind of horror, with a clear sense of escalation.
Guillory’s trademark humor is still present, but noticeably toned down, giving way to an atmosphere of growing danger. For me, it remains a brilliant and consistently engaging series.
