5 Revenge Filled Stars
Dixie grew up watching her father beat her mother. She vowed to never let that happen to her, but the cards were not in her favor. Her father traded Dixie to a man for a tractor. A TRACTOR... Her parents signed the papers so that Jimmy Buchanan could marry Dixie at her young age. Jimmy beat the fight out of Dixie. Until one day she was tired of it. Tired of watching her children see it. And having her son turned against her was the last straw on that camel.
The bloody beatings that Jimmy had dealt Dixie throughout her short life were nothing compared to the vengeful plot Dixie hatched on Jimmy. Revenge is a dish best served with with a cold beer. Don't let go Jimmy, don't let go... muahaha!
Can't wait for the next in this series to release.

I read both the short story and the novel version, and I enjoyed both immensely. Revenge is great but Sewn Mean the novel is out of this world good! Dixie is my new favorite character and I'm looking forward to the second book, Dixie. Don't let the triggers dissuade you from reading the astounding novel Sewn Mean! 5 stars is nowhere near enough for this book series! Jimmy got what he deserved.

Wow. If you are a fan of twisted stories, buy this and read it right away. Dixie is a victim of domestic violence and has had enough. Weak women annoy me, so I was glad to see her find her strength. Kudos to the authors for writing such a compelling story. Can’t wait to read the novel this fall!

Brand new author and completely out of my comfort zone...I wasn't disappointed! This story definitely hit home in some areas. Dixie has strength and resilience that I have never seen. So much raw and powerful emotion. I can't wait to read more about Dixie!

Received a signed copy from the author. I had no idea what I was going to be reading going into this. This one is not for the faint of heart, very graphic. I would like to find out how Dixie's story continues!

A short story that is definitely worth the read. I can't wait to read Sewn Mean. This was a terrific story!
