The Code: A Thriller

by I.C. Cosmos

Alex would kill to protect her children; Vivien would kill for the bonus she expects to receive for kidnapping them…

But Vivien’s scheme falls apart, and she finds herself on the run. She reinvents herself and is celebrating the beginning of her new life in a plush resort when an unexpected phone call opens the door to an opportunity to avenge herself and destroy her archenemy, Alex.
Knowing that Vivien couldn’t have kidnapped her children on her own, Alex takes on corrupt agents and a fierce media misinformation campaign to keep her family together and safe.
Her pursuits put her in the crosshairs of Vivien’s influential mentor, who, like Vivien, is out of sight and untraceable—an invisible, ever-present danger. Hiding behind the rampant panic caused by a malicious code that is ravaging computers across the country, he sets out to trap Alex and launch his ultimate power game.
Only one player can win. Who?
