Animal Farm = Farma zvířat A2-B1

Rate this book

All animals are equal – but some are more equal than others. “It is the history of a revolution that went wrong.” This renowned fable is a timeless satire of idealism and corrupting influence of power. After its publication in August 1945 it has strengthened Orwell’s position among the greatest writers of the twentieth century.

It's a slightly abridged version and the translation isn't 1:1, so it helps understanding but you still need a dictionary to fully understand all the nuances, at least when using this book to learn Czech. I'll have to re-read it without the help of the English text.
Other than that, the story itself is good of course, maybe a bit overrated, but you'd rather read the original unabridged version if you want to delve into all its details.
