I normally enjoy the writing of these authors, but this book was entirely to long. It was extremely repetitive. It read like two people with the same idea wrote the book and then just combined their efforts. There were misspelled words and words in the wrong place within the sentence. Not what I’m used to from these authors. The male characters (Kayl & Kier) came across as immature hotheads. The female recovered from her trauma so quickly it gave me whiplash. The twins suffered the same type of trauma and 15 years later, they were still recovering! Yeah, 720 pages and the whole story between Aileen and the twins took place in less than 60 days. (SMH) The best part of the story, for me, started around 80% . All in all, I’m very disappointed. It took two years to publish this and it wasn’t worth my time. I can’t recommend this one. I’m just glad I read it on KU. Here’s hoping the authors do a better job with Razi’s story.

Kier and Kayl, the twins with a bond that is VERY useful when things take a turn, are up and they are 100% certain there's no mate in their future. After all, they're dedicated to the hunting down and utter destruction of the pirate who destroyed their lives and they can't dream of much of a future beyond that.
Which means when they cross paths with Aileen while on the hunt, it throws them for a loop. The fact that she's in danger AND they are wickedly close to achieving their goal of destroying Vrykhan complicates things further. When it comes to choosing between saving their potential mate or leaving her to die while they continue their hunt, they have a choice to make. (You can probably guess which way they go, but there's a lot of frustration on their end that they were so close and didn't close the deal.)
Meanwhile, Aileen's life has gone down a path she never expected. First she was trapped into a life of slavery and forced to do things she never dreamed of. Then she's freed and she has a chance with not one, but TWO sexy warriors. It's a lot for a lady to mentally work her head around and it takes her a while to admit to herself that she's all in and ready to make this thing between her and the twins work.
We get to spend a little time with Arc and some of his crew, watch the twins get a little testy when someone who matters to them is threatened, and see a human lady find her place in this wild, dangerous galaxy. *thumbs up*

This was long, and harrowing at times to see these characters struggle(check TWs before reading because these characters were all slaves and though nothing happens on page, there is talk and memories about it), but the journey they forged through together was so freaking rewarding and beautiful.
I loved this book. This writing duo always knows how to pluck at all of my emotions.
I cried, I laughed, I got frustrated and a bit angry, I felt these characters’ love rush up from the pages, I got a little hot and bothered when they expressed their love in very dirty ways…it had a little bit of everything, and I’m just really glad I decided to take the time to read it.
Definitely worth it.
I am so excited to read what they release next. I just can’t believe it’s gonna be almost a whole freaking year before that happens🥺

We are your mates. Every moment spent with you belongs to all three of us. Every touch, every glance, every word, every kiss, is ours. You are ours.
Well I think maybe I wasn't in the mood to read this- I don't think the story is bad just there were no surprises in the plot, and the emotional moments didn't grip me as much as I would have expected.
But that may just be me bc I'll also be honest in that I sped read a lot of the book and kind of just skimmed the ending climax with the baddie.
Might look out for the next book in this series, but we'll see.

Such a great addition to the Infinite City series! a Very emotional journey for our heroes Kier and Kayl and their mate, Aileen. These characters each had their own demons and traumatic pasts to overcome before they could find their HEA. I love the Infinite City world! World-building and character development are stellar. Appearances by characters in previous books were a delight. The larger story arc had me on the edge of my seat and the ending was so satisfying. I will basically read anything Tiffany Roberts writes. Great stories and their love of the sci/fi romance genre shines through with every word.

I have been waiting for months for this book and it was totally worth it!
I love the fact that it focused more on the relationship and bond between Kier, Kayl and Aileen than on the plot. You could feel that Kier and Kayl are twins and that Aileen fitted right in.
I just wished there was more interaction between Arcanthus's crew and Aileen. Arc and Aileen literally haven't spoken a word to each other. But maybe that's just me 🤷♀️.
Still, I love this book and Tiffany and Robert did a great job!

This book dealt with some heavy heavy stuff. All the main characters had lots of trauma from their enslavements, although Aileen’s trauma responses were, understandably, the most severe. I liked that the book kept the honesty of trauma in that she didn’t get to choose when she started panicking. Aileen was sweet and compassionate, with some steel in her spine. Kayl was stoic and emotionally constipated but also passionate. Kier was open and playful, with strong emotions. Ménage isn’t my fave relationship grouping, especially with brothers, but because it was so culturally normalized for Kayl and Kier, it didn’t feel as icky.

The perfect book to start my new year of reading. This book was everything I expected from Tiffany and Robert and so much more.
This story is powerful! It gave me full body chills, and I’ve never had that happen while reading before. The over arching theme of healing and finding partners that support you in all the ups and downs of that journey. As a SA survivor it was beautiful to read.
The twins are amazing!
Their banter had me cackling, they really are two sides of the same coin. The spice between the 3 of them, the angst, the tension was perfection.
Aileen, our lost girl, she really found herself and it was a stunning journey to view. The small bits of wisdom, little tidbits of outlook, were absolutely heartwarming.
A millions stars. Perfection.

I kind of want to weep that this story is over, it was so good every step of the way. The love that radiated between the three of them felt so real, so genuine, and it made my heart warm. The healing that they go through together is so well written…so real.
I really related to Aileen’s grief. I lost my mother last year and I’m still not sure how to function without her presence. Books are a good escape, but they unexpectedly always give me what I need to hear most. Hers and the twins grief was so poignant, and I hurt with them, and I could see myself in their journey to heal. It was beautiful. So heart warming.
The moment towards the end hit me the hardest though. The way Kayl and Kier had held themselves at a distance, had isolated themselves in their quest for vengeance. I felt that. I cried when they realized how much their friends cared for them. Again, it was beautiful.
On a lighter note, the humor between Kayl and Kier and their squabbles was genuinely entertaining. They made the tail end of the previous book so lively and I could already tell I’d love their story. And I did. I absolutely loved it and I’m so excited to see where the authors go with the rest of the series
Lastly can we talk about how amazing and unique all those characters in the town were?! Loved all of them. I feel like it’s difficult to write such compelling personalities in characters that show up maybe once or twice but the authors did a fantastic job

This book was super frustrating and had so much that should have been cut out. No romantic suspense at all. I mean, wouldn’t hesitation to having two mates and joining minds psychically that cannot be reversed be logical?
On the other side, wouldn’t it be so hard to give up vengeance that you’d been seeking for 15 years? Weird how little resistance there is to giving up the hunt.
The banter between the twins got so old and even the sex scenes were so repetitive. Just because there is a psychic link doesn’t mean that everything that goes on in that link is interesting. All the inner dialogue about their obsessive possessiveness “ She is ours”, “she was theirs”, “we are ready”… it all became campy and one noted.
I really wanted them to get out and go capture the big, bad slaver empowered by their trio’s love. Instead he conveniently came to them and gave them a softball (“I want them alive. Group of 40 men-beat these twins up in groups but don’t kill them yet.”) then the bad guy is defeated with very little to do with the twins’ planning or efforts and everyone gets saved by the robot and their unique group of fighting friends.
The story did get better once Arcanthus showed up as it always does, but even he gets mistreated in the story repeatedly. He comes off weak and kinda like a loser in how the twins brush him off and take him for granted. He was painted much whinier than usual.
Finally, at the end I really wanted the throuple to continue to chase slavers and/or fight to end slavery/help slaves together but instead they end up staying on a beach thinking about having kids. Poof goes the most honorable and interesting thing about the twins-their heroism.
I guess I’d come to expect a sure thing from this author duo but this installment was hastily written with little focus on the romantic plot and was what I would call self-indulgence in the lack of editing and overdoing the free thought form writing that doesn’t really do it for me. I’d say there were at least a hundred pages that should have been cut from
the middle and even then after all the long wait to trudge through, the climax and ending can’t help but feel like an inadequate consolation prize.

a lot going on
I loved the idea of this book! I loved the characters! I love their relationship. I was more found of Kier over Kayl. Aileen’s character was so cute. She was good at keeping the boys in line and she fell for them just as hard as they were in love with her.
But…. This book was too damn long! I had a hard time getting through it and I loved the first book so much! It was perfect, but she put way too much into this one!
The first half was them getting to Eternal Paradise to kill the pirate (which they didn’t do) and then saving her after they found her.
The second part was them crashing onto that planet and repairing their ship and then fighting/ defeating the pirates who tracked them down.
In between all that was the relationship. The 5 days of courting her was cute but unnecessary. She was attracted to them and accepted them. She wanted to form the bond but they were hesitant of it for a while. I think 40% in is when they had there first kiss and physical contact. I did not think that Kayl deserved to be with her first bc he was being such an ass to her. I would have been happy if she just ended up with Kier. His personality was so laid back, sweet, funny and sexy. Kayl was more uptight and he wasn’t good at showing his emotions. In the end they were both helplessly and madly in love with her. I enjoyed the bonding ritual even if it was a bit odd.
I loved that other characters from the previous books joined the fight at the end. There friendships were cute and I enjoyed the lesson of them learning it’s okay to ask for help. They could have entered external paradise with their crew and won the first time versus them wanting to take revenge alone and barely making it out alive.

Another Great Read
This author team is simply fantastic, and this is another example of how great they work together. Tethered Souls is a fantastic example of sci-fi romance and a great addition to this series.

Powerful
This story was excellent, amazing and everything...and twins! Yes twins. The characters were extremely well developed, the back stories and the non stop action, danger and adventure were top notch. The banter between the characters is so well done and doesn't detract at all from the story. Sharing their thoughts was a nice touch and the the double your fun steamy action...whew! Especially when they bonded. My tablet fogged up. Being off world from Arthos once more and galaxy hopping was fun. Arc finding them no matter what is hilarious. I am excited Razi gets his story soon. And the twins satisfying all of their goals and having a life they can live with a completed triad was extra special. Incredible action and adventure , loved it !!!!!!
Oh, my GOSH !!! I thought that this story was excellent and fantastic, and truly a remarkable addition to this amazing series !!!!
Aileen came to space to get away from near memories and to try to fill the empty spaces in her soul. But what she found was something completely different.
Sol'Keir and his twin , Sol'Kayl had everything taken from them when they were very young. They were sold into slavery and suffered for years. Once they became old enough, and opportunities presented themselves, they promised each other that they would never be in that situation again . They remade themselves, and became people that hunted slavers, and freed slaves.
But they NEVER forgot the one that had enslaved them ,Vrykhan, and vowed , vengence, and wrath. Not knowing that their destiny lay was a part of this path . Now Keir, and Kayl must choose.......

I thought that this story was an incredible story of loss and pain, and unexpected joy and happiness, and the fight between what you should do, and what you Must do , and how your dreams can change in unexpected ways. As usual , LOTS of action, and very descriptive places and peoples, and flora and fauna !!! A phenomenal addition to this marvelous series !!!!!

June 28, 2022That story seemed unnecessarily long. There were a few convos I would have shortened (didn’t add anything to plot, character development, or interpersonal development). There’s a whole scene I would have cut too.
I ended up skimming most of smut because it wasn’t plot relevant and the book just felt never ending. I was just waiting for things I knew needed to happen and wondering why they hadn’t happened yet. I got a little tired of “I am rage,” “I am vengeance.” It could be I just wasn’t in the mood to read this type of story, so I’m not adding a star rating.

The setup is instantly gripping: twins Kier and Kayl, scarred by years of enslavement and bent on vengeance, unexpectedly discover their fated mate in Aileen, a human woman with her own emotional wounds and longing for freedom.
From the start, I felt this story had something real. It’s the kind of book that stays with you because it feels genuinely lived-in 💫
I enjoyed it a lot! The connection between the characters is effortless and deep; not just attraction, but understanding, healing, and emotional safety all wrapped into one. I loved the romance and how Kier, Kayl, and Aileen were in sync throughout the whole book.
Each of the main characters stood out for me in their own way. I honestly thought Kier would be my favorite (total golden retriever energy, which is one of my favorite tropes ✨), but by the end, I actually couldn’t choose. Kayl’s protective yet communicative nature completely melted me, and Aileen’s care for their emotional wellbeing tied everything together beautifully.
Their relationship dynamic felt so natural, and it was perfectly balanced between plot, tenderness, and spice. Plus, every scene showed how much they truly cared for each other, and that made it feel extra emotional for me 💖
Even though all three carry trauma, their healing is gentle and mutual. I loved how the author portrayed trust in small but meaningful moments: The hurt-comfort moments? were tender and heartfelt, and the telepathic bonds? Ugh, chef’s kiss, they added such an intimate, emotional touch that made everything feel so special 💞
As for the sci-fi details — especially those cute cultural misunderstandings between species — gave the story personality and charm. It’s one of those worlds where you can feel the mix of alien and human emotions blending in the best way 🛸

I would say this is a good read cause it’s more than any other alien romance, it’s about trust, vulnerability, and love that feels safe and earned. The pacing felt just right, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Following Kier, Kayl, and Aileen’s journey of love and healing was pure joy 🥹🫶🏻
It may not be the “best book ever written,” but for me, it was exactly what it needed to be: real, comforting, and completely captivating.

From the start, I felt this story had something real. It’s the kind of book that stays with you because it feels genuinely lived-in 💫
I enjoyed it a lot! The connection between the characters is effortless and deep; not just attraction, but understanding, healing, and emotional safety all wrapped into one. I loved the romance and how Kier, Kayl, and Aileen were in sync throughout the whole book.
Each of the main characters stood out for me in their own way. I honestly thought Kier would be my favorite (total golden retriever energy, which is one of my favorite tropes ✨), but by the end, I actually couldn’t choose. Kayl’s protective yet communicative nature completely melted me, and Aileen’s care for their emotional wellbeing tied everything together beautifully.
Their relationship dynamic felt so natural, and it was perfectly balanced between plot, tenderness, and spice. Plus, every scene showed how much they truly cared for each other, and that made it feel extra emotional for me 💖
Even though all three carry trauma, their healing is gentle and mutual. I loved how the author portrayed trust in small but meaningful moments: The hurt-comfort moments? were tender and heartfelt, and the telepathic bonds? Ugh, chef’s kiss, they added such an intimate, emotional touch that made everything feel so special 💞
As for the sci-fi details — especially those cute cultural misunderstandings between species — gave the story personality and charm. It’s one of those worlds where you can feel the mix of alien and human emotions blending in the best way 🛸

I loved this book so much that I don’t even know where to start!
First off let me just say that The Infinite City is possibly one of my favorite sci-fi romance series out there, it has everything I crave in a good sci-fi: Well developed, in depth lore, well developed characters, AWESOME action scenes and well written, scorching hot sex scenes.
That said, this is a slightly longer book (almost 700 pages!) than the others in the series and honestly? I’m glad it was longer, I don’t believe a story with as many “parts” as this would have fared well had it been shorter. I think certain scenes needed time to be properly written/described to work and TR did exactly that.
Something I’m very impressed about I must say (please bear with me I’m not a writer in the slightest lol), is the way the twins’ psychic link - their aerys - is written in this story. It’s a different way to communicate since it’s their souls’ voice and I didn’t find it jarring or inorganic in the least, it felt very natural and their banter through their inner voice was very entertaining since they both have such distinct personalities.
As usual all of the characters are incredibly written, not just the twins, our female main character Aileen is relatable, sweet and resilient and she genuinely wants to be helpful, which she is. She’s recovering from trauma, as are the twins - Kier and Kayl - and coping in very different ways. I do believe that dealing with their trauma is what moves the plot forward, because this is a book about people finding each other and helping each other heal, which was done beautifully!
There’s also a lot of enthusiastic consent between Aileen and her mates (hell yeah!)
The secondary cast of characters is also very likable, with appearances from previous characters which I honestly don’t see this series going without. I’m also glad we’re always introduced new characters who are complex and unique and add a lot of dynamism to the story.
To me, having a vivid picture of the setting the action is taking place in is also quite important, otherwise I’ll find myself lost and bored, and I genuinely like how a good chunk of the book takes place in a rather isolated area of the universe, it gives for a very solid (literal) background and this is achieved with good descriptions and by often reminding the reader where the action is taking place. Even small places like the shops and the canteen were well described and my brain finds that very reassuring and ‘anchoring’, for lack of a better word.
All in all, I think this might be my favorite book in the series so far! I’m reading them out of order just because I was so curious about how TR would manage to write not one, but two mates for our heroine and the end result didn’t disappoint. It was beautiful, heart breaking at times, let’s not forget hot AND that last part kept me very much on the edge, which I LOVED.

I read Savage Desire, the book before this one in the series, and really liked it so I thought I would try this one because these brothers do pop up in Savage Desire and I wanted to read their story. Honestly, I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as I did other, but it was still pretty decent.
Tethered Souls is about Kier and Kayl finding their mate in Aileen, a human woman unwittingly thrusted into servitude to a intergalactic slaver that the brothers have vowed to kill. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending who you are, their mating bond with Aileen snaps into place as they are attempting to kill him and they make the decision to abandon killing him in favor of saving Aileen's life, which does create some conflict between the brothers for a bit.
Cue a llllooooooottttt of nothing to big happening until they have to fix their ship, and then things pick up a little bit. That time is basically the relationship development phase, which happened quickly in book time, but semi-slow in our time. Which is fine if you are into that kind of thing. For me it wasn't much of an issue, but some people might not enjoy how much of the book is actively taken up while the trio limp along to a planet they hope to be able to fix their ship on.
It's interesting to note that Aileen seems to recover from her trauma rather quickly, while the two brothers, who were also once slaves as well, have been dealing with theirs for over 15 years. Yes she wasn't in the system as long, but she seemed to have a bit more happen to her on a bodily level that would definitely produce trauma. But she's a lot quicker then they are at 'getting over it,' especially considering that the twins have spent the majority of their adult life chasing down this slaver pirate for their revenge.
Anyhow, the book seems to pick up in the 75-85% completed range, if only for the fact they have to fend off random 'bad' people and the 'end' battle. For a book with over 700 pages...it was okay, but I could have trimmed 100 or so pages off without feeling like the plot lost too much. It really dragged a bit in the middle. Cut out have of the repetition, half of the "her, BUT REVENGE. BUT HER, but vengeance..." conflict. If she's your 'fated' mate, then why do you feel like you made the wrong choice for so freaking long?
Anyhow, it's long, it drags a little, it could have been streamlined a bit for those who aren't interested in 700+ pages books. I wasn't devoted to their romance, but I also wasn't against it. I guess we can just settle with this...It was good enough a read that I was reading it as an occasional time filler, however it wasn't so good that I felt compelled to devour it all in one sitting. I could take my time without getting lost because there wasn't too terribly much going on, until there was and that usually could be read all in one 10-20 minute sitting.
It was pretty good, but the book before it in the series was definitely better.

This was an interesting addition to the infinite city series and despite it not being my favourite in the series I still really enjoyed this, just not as much as I thought I would.
First of all I loved the idea of this story, i mean green and purple twins saving a pour slave girl from a fate they’ve already suffered themselves and falling completely in love with her, what’s not to like?!
I also really loved kier and kayl I thought they were so sweet and the differences between the 2 made the banter they shared laugh out loud funny in many areas. And tho I found the sex scenes almost overly descriptive about how the characters were mentally feeling rather than what was actually happening it was still pretty hot 🥵 in that typical Tiffany roberts style.
With that being said there was a few things that stopped me from giving this the 5 star review that I wanted to give it. First of all the speed in which things took place, the book is a chunky bastard but somehow it felt like relationship wise things were just happening much too fast. The heroine got over her trauma so fast I found myself going back to read if she was really as traumatized as I thought she was. She also was just really accepting of her new mates with barely any push back. I mean she was basically in love with them within a few days after just being a freed from SEX SLAVERY it just felt so unrealistic. I wanted some conflict or something between them and there was some conflict at the very beginning but it was resolved so fast and since I’m a glutton for punishment I wanted some drama! 😂😂
The second thing that I had trouble with was the overly descriptive style of writing, like I found we were reading pages upon pages of descriptions about alien stores and shop keepers and I just couldn’t find it in myself to care about it so I sort of just skimmed through all of that. It’s weird to me because I’ve read many books by this author duo and it’s not always like this with the extreme descriptions of things I as the reader just don’t care about.
Overall I think this was still a really sweet read, with intriguing chuckle worthy characters. I liked the world and this series but it’s just not one of my absolute favourite sci go series.

Tethered Souls is the sixth novel in the Infinite City series by Tiffany Roberts and follows two brothers in their quest for vengeance and the woman meant to change both their lives.
Kier and Kayl see only one future for themselves. They have one purpose—-slay the pirate Vrykhan at any cost. He was responsible for destroying their lives children and now they will rest at nothing to destroy his. They are expecting to give their lives in their pursuit of justice—-but they never expected her. Aileen; their human mate. She is the missing piece of their trio and the one thing that offers them a future they never did hope for. But will they give up their thirst for revenge or will their determination to right past wrongs destroy their chance at a future?
So far I’ve really enjoyed the Infinite City series all the novels that make it up, but I want to be honest…. I really struggled with Tethered Souls. So much so that by about halfway, I really was only skimming the story. Although I understand the purpose of some of the themes, I found it difficult to connect with the characters and I wasn’t really a fan of the ménage à trois between the two brothers and human woman Aileen. I’m not generally a fan of threesomes or reverse harem, so the idea of one woman two brothers didn’t really appeal to me even though I feel that Tiffany Roberts didn’t make a real attempt at ensuring that the relationship and connection between them made sense.
Unfortunately, this instalment was just not for me. I didn’t particularly enjoy it nor did I like any of the characters. I felt the story dragged and even though I wanted to be swept up in their journey, I really didn’t care. I really was just wanting everything to be over and to get to the end/point of the novel. Disappointing because I have enjoyed reading this series and would definitely read future novels in it.
Tethered Souls seems to end well and sets up a future instalment in the series with another one of Arcanthus’s crew members. I’ve always loved this gang and would definitely be game to follow another one of them as they fall in love even if Tethered Souls proved to be a miss for me.

Tethered Souls (The Infinite City book 5) 💖💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥
Once again Tiffany Roberts has delivered a book that will make your adrenaline rush, your heart take flight and embrace you in a world beyond your imagination. I have been a huge fan of the Infinite City series since book one. Each is its own unique story but has a sense of connectedness as each book unfolds. New characters are introduced and old friends make appearances that not only tie the books together but bring a sense of family to the series. I honestly don’t know how they do it just when I think I can’t love a set of characters more TR goes and proves me wrong. I can’t honestly pick a favorite anymore since I love each of the books for unique reasons. Tethered Souls was a beautiful story of pain, loss, forgiveness and ultimately love, acceptance and belonging. We are introduced to the twins Kayl and Keir in the last book they help Thargen and his human mate escape a dangerous situation and end up becoming reluctant extended friends/family of Arcanthus our favorite forger/ warrior. Their story is tragic and I don’t want to give too much away but they survive a pirate raid, sold into slavery and swear eteranl vengence on those who hurt them. It is on their mission of vengeance they find Aileen a human woman battling heartache and betrayal. To soothe her wounded soul she left home to travel the stars and in her most vulnerable moments she is tricked into slavey and has become something she hates. All hell breaks loose when they meet and it's a non stop adrenaline fueled action ride. Filled with deeply conflicting emotions, internal fighting and longing so acute it breaks your heart. But as each obstacle is overcome all three grow closer and more emotionally and spiritually attached. New secondary characters are introduced and you can’t help but love them and of course old friends are there when you most need them. (No man is an Island after all) another valuable lesson learned. This is a five star book that I highly recommend that you give a try. I honestly do not think you will be disappointed. This was waaayyy to long a book. A lot of repeated stuff going on. And the thoughts were endless and the same thing over and over again. Also just them moving around was long as well. Like the first 200 pages was then just in the eternal paradise place and that was it. Like that should haven’t barely been 100 pages tbh. If they’d cut this down by half it probs would have been an easy 5 stars.
All that being said it was a pretty good storyline. I liked the two love interests Kayl and Kier. They were fun and cute. Though there seemed to be more of a focus on Kayl which sucked a little as he was kinda the brooding one, which is normally a good thing but again, there was just so much like in the head type of writing that it got tedious fast. It was also omg she deserves better but I’m obsessed with her but vengence but her but not her but I’m also not good enough. Like it was endless. Kier gave a little bit of relief to that but not enough. I did like their dynamic tho and kinda wished we’d gotta to see more interaction between the two, but again it was all solo mental stuff. Not even them doing things. I think that was what sucked so much, was that barely anything happened but it was nearly 700 pages long. Like you dont need 700 pages for a three part plot (eternal paradise, the planet they crashed one and falling in love, and the climactic fight at the end - which wasn’t even that intense anyways. Oh and I hated that every time she interacted with one twin, she had to interact with the other (not cos of jealously or anything), it was just a really bad version of trying to get them both page time, which failed anyways cos Kayl (who I didn’t even hate or anything) just took up so much of the plot and Kier always tried to give him extra time with alieen so he could be less broody lol.
Overall not particular a bad book but defs not a good one. I don’t even think I would reread it cos it’s so long and overwhelming in the amount of reading you have to do to get basically no where.

As an avid fan of Tiffany Roberts books, this one definitely does not disappoint. The only reason it is not a full 5 stars is due to my BIGGEST grief reading their books - this book could’ve been expanded over a multi book series. That’s how good of a story it is.
This is a standalone that takes place in the Infinite City series that occurs in a sci-fi futuristic space traveling world. We have twin aliens Kayl and Kier who are connected telepathically who are on a revenge mission to kill the biggest, baddest motherf**ker gang boss who killed their family and enslaved them. Along the way, they unexpectedly meet their (yes their) human mate Aileen. She is a singer at a club who is all basically enslaved to remain at the club against her will and drugged to endure horrid things forced upon her. The twins abandon their mission to save their mate. Then most of the story is them awkwardly getting to know each other and Aileen figuring out how being with twin aliens will work.
As like most of their books, Tiffany Roberts follows a recipe of “we meet, we fall in love, we have sexy time (a lot of it), then a huge event full of near death violence that miraculously works out and we have a happy epilogue.” The end.
I would’ve loved this story to be expanded over a couple books. To see all the little details of Aileen’s and the twins’ relationship and actually have time to grow. Even though this book is almost 700 pages, there is just not enough to fit in everything I wanted to see. Especially the mentioning of double peen time to make a baby…. 🥵

📖 My Thoughts
I finally finished this series! It took me forever, but definitely worth it. I actually started the series to get to this book, and I was SOOOOOO excited to get to the twins. Overall I loved Aileen the FMC, she was so relatable and genuine. It's rare we get an FMC who is as thirsty as her and I am here for it. Totally valid considering the eye candy she's got. The soul bonds in the alien culture were really interesting, and rare to see as triads. The revenge plot and the healing and the trauma, it was all so well done without being overbearing. I didn't want to sink in the misery, but I did want to feel like the things everyone went through mattered and had impact. It's a difficult balance, but I think the authors achieved it. The only thing I wish there was a little more of was Aileen singing, I mean...she's a professional singer and music is a huge part of her life and core memories and we really only get one instance of her singing.

There's a lot of thirst and tension which is really well done, but it's a while before the actual deed is done. Plenty of hot scenes in this though, and the twins are delicious.

Such a good book!
Let me start by saying: I love these authors! They have yet to write a book that I didn’t care for. This one was no different
Slightly different from the rest in this series, it’s about Keir and Kayl and Aileen
They’ve all had an extremely difficult life, (in all honesty, I think the brothers had it a bit worse but in situations like theirs, one shouldn’t compare because everyone suffers) and seemed to have found each other at just the right time.
This one had a bit less action and built more on what was necessary. The bond these 3 needed to form. Which took time and trust and faith and love. None of which any of them had had for quite some time. So I’m glad that the authors built on that and showed the struggle and suffering each character went through to try to push past everything and find their HEA.
They did such an awesome job. I loved how Kayl found it so difficult to let go of his vengeance and choose instead to put Aileen first. And reading the way he slowly opened up and embraced his feelings. Beautifully done.
Aileen had such a happy childhood, and to have that taken away and then try to find her way past the pain of losing such a loving family… only to be enslaved. She suffered and fought not to doubt and question. But it was awesome seeing her come back into herself
Keir. (Sigh) such an intriguing mix of vulnerability and teasing. He is definitely the soft one of the 2 brothers. He was such a sweetheart. I absolutely adored the relationship he and his brother had. Had me cracking up a couple of times. He was very good with bringing levity to a situation, and showing his brother how to open himself up with Aileen…. Awww
Anyway, most definitely worth the read. It’s not necessary to read all of the books I’m this series because they’re all with different characters, each with their own HEA, but I would HIGHLY recommend you do so, so that you understand better when certain characters show up.

UGGHHHH I REALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK.
This and Shielded Heart were the ones to get me to grab this series to read. It was one of my most anticipated to read of The Infinite City and boy was it something. It took me awhile to read and finish, just because I got interested in writing myself and the length of it, but I still did it before 2026! I absolutely loved Aileen and the Twins. Spoilers below.

What I was expecting to be a super spicy book with the M/F/M premise, but I got a lot more that I enjoyed. The sheer amount of trauma Kayl, Kier, and Aileen faced was so heartbreaking to read, and I loved how they helped each other heal. While there was spice, there was a lot of healing that takes place in this book. In the grand scheme of plot/pacing, a lot happens fast and the book makes sure to remind the reader of that, but it also felt so natural with the concept of mates being a thing in this series. I was panicking at the end when the final climax was happening with the big bad and there was just about 50ish pages left!
Regardless, I really enjoyed the leads in this. Aileen went through so much and was haunted by her past prior to her enslavement yet blossomed back to her old self with the twins help. And Kayl and Kier grow passed their state of rage and wrath with Aileen's help and the become more entuned with themselves as people rather than their quest for revenge.
Overall, I enjoyed this read and I am glad it got me to read The Infinite City series <3
