Twilah (h) signs up as an Alien Bride Games contestant believing it to be her lats shot at love but even there she’s rejected. Ahri (H) takes his job as a Khanavai warrior working to bring down the Alveron Horde very seriously and has no interest in a mate. So, when he’s assigned to take rejected bride Twilah back to Earth, he finds himself struggling to resist her scent. Their spacecraft is attacked, and they crash land on a deserted planet where they’ll have to work together to survive and try to figure out how to send a rescue message. As Ahri and Twilah spend time together, things heat up and Ahri will have to decide what he really wants. A fun action and adventure romance with a side of heat and a bit of relationship angst.

Another entertaining book in the series! This one brings Twilah and Ahri Isto's story. She's disappointed when no warrior picks her. Then when getting ready to come home the transport room breaks down. He's come to accept there is no one for him. Until he meets her and knows she's his mate. This is their story. It's well written, moves quickly and smoothly and is a great read.

it wasn’t bad

It wasn’t the best. I found the FMC to be emotionally very weak and clingy and that is before they really started interacting. It would be better to give them more of an age than just desperation and the mention of one name. I am continuing with the series because it is entertaining

These books just get better and better and I loved everyone I’ve read so far and this is book 11 of a fabulous series. Twilah Mason is a human female who is looking for love and has signed up for bride lottery program and she is hoping to find her perfect match on Station 21. Ahri Isto is a Khanavai Warrior who is a spying on the Alverlon Horde and goes to Station 21 to report in and runs into a human female in the corridor and feels a pull to this female but walks away because he didn’t find a mate before and now he doesn’t want one. Twilah finally gets to see the selection of the bachelors that comes down and Twilah has no matches and must leave Station 21 and she is devastated that all her hopes and dreams are over. Now waiting for a ride back to earth because she missed her shuttle and there are now issues with the others she has to get a ride with a Khanavai warrior who was the hot guy she ran into in the corridor that made me tingle all over but he is rude and not happy about having to take me back to Earth, can these rejections get any worse to my self esteem. Now there ship fails and the Alveron Horde shoots them down and they crash land on a deserted planet but manage to take out the Horde ship as well and they crash land as well but Ahri is not worried about the horde but the gorgeous female and her scent driving him crazy and he knows she is his fated mate but must keep his distance but the longer they are together the harder it is to stay away when there chemistry is off the charts and now they have crossed the line and the mating bond is getting stronger and now they are saved and are going back to Station 21 but what will happen when they arrive will they still be together or not. This is a must read book and series.

Twilah had a strong desire to have a family of her own. She was already tired of going out on dates and having relationships with men who showed no commitment, but who, mysteriously after the two broke up, they married other women.
Giving up on having any relationships with human men, Twilah decided to give the Khanavai Warriors a chance, and entered the Bride Lottery.
After waiting a considerable amount of time (now, women were no longer forced to participate in the Lottery, but they could apply), she was selected to participate and was taken to Station 21.

The impossible has happened!
Even among the women participating in the Bride Lottery, Twilah was the only one not chosen.
Feeling humiliated to a high degree, she is sent back to Earth, but the ship that would take her was having problems, so she is placed on another ship.

Ahri Isto was an honorable warrior and had his responsibilities. But deep down, he wished he had a family, especially after seeing so many other warriors find their human mates.
As he still hadn't found her, he accepted the given mission, and would stay as far away from Station 21 and Earth as possible. However, a rejected human was supposed to go home.
Shortly after the two leave on the ship, there is a problem with an engine and they are still attacked by enemies, which makes them need to descend on an inhospitable planet.

Twilah and Ahri get to know each other the wrong way, and the initial difficulties don't help, but, in fact, since they crossed paths the first time, a different aroma had reached both of them.
The big fear now was if one of them would have found the soul mate, but the other wouldn't match the feeling...

Twilah had hoped to find a Khanavai mate to claim her during the Bride Games on Station 21, but no one chose her. Now, the transporter has malfunctioned and she can't get back to Earth. Vos Klavoii has magnanimously (not) assigned a Khanavai pilot to return her to her home planet. Great, the pilot is the warrior who scowled at her earlier when she passed him in the hallway on her way to the transporter room. He obviously doesn't want the job of shuttling her around. Then they are attacked by the Alveron Horde and crash land on an uninhabited planet. Unfortunately, the Hordeship has crashed onto the alien world. Oh, and Twilah really hates camping.

Ahri Isto had tried to get accepted for the Bride Games so he could look for his fated mate, but he had been turned down. Now, he has dedicated his energy to his job of spying on the Alveron Horde and getting info to help defeat them. Preparing top leave Station 21 after making a report, he is ordered to return a rejected human to Earth due to a transporter problem. He realizes Twilah is his fated mate but he knows he can't claim her and still do his job. When they crash and have no one but each other to depend on... he realizes he will never be able to keep himself from growing closer to her. But survival is the important thing and he can't afford to lose focus on that.

Twilah Mason has finally been chosen to participate in the Bride Lottery and gets onto Station 21. However, no Khanavai choose her. So, she gets on lint to go back home, but the teleported breaks down, so Ahri Isto, a Khanavai pilot and warrior, gets to fly her home, the long way. However, someone has messed with the FTL drive so they are stranded on a planet and are in great danger. They are stuck there together, and must rely on each other in order to survive. Feelings between the two ensue and they end up with each other, except, no Khanavai are to mate outside of the Bride Lottery. So mega problem with Vos Klavoii, who I’m beginning to really hate as he wants to do things just for the ratings. It should be about finding love and the ratings!

Once they are rescued, they make a deal and more problems arise because Vos Klavoii wants to change the Bride Lottery even more than he already has, in order to bring up the ratings! I can’t wait to see the next book and I hope someone takes Vos down a few notches or he gets replaced or something! Otherwise, I feel badly for the human brides and the Khanavai males that are about to be forced to jump through hoops for the ratings.

3.5 stars. Twilah, the female human lead, applied for the Alien Bride Lottery in the hopes of finding a partner because she wasn’t succeeding with humans. When she’s rejected even there, she’s mortified to then find she can’t get home because the transporter is broken.

Ahri, the male alien lead, knows that he’s compatible with Twilah but, as a professional soldier/spy, he doesn’t have space for her in his life. When he’s assigned the task of taking her home, he’s not happy and becomes even less so when the enemy forces them to crash on an uninhabited planet. Now they need to survive until they’re rescued…

This novella is dual POV, and continues the overarching plot for the series whilst telling a tale of a male who doesn’t want a mate. I’ll admit it’s not my favourite - I didn’t enjoy Ahri’s attitude through most of the story. I enjoyed Twilah’s perseverance, especially in a situation she felt unprepared and unequipped for. I enjoyed the ending and the way they jointly pushed back against opposition to their relationship.

Twilah Mason has given up on finding love with human men. She figures her only shot at love is with a Khanavai warrior. So, she signs up to be a volunteer bride and is ecstatic when she is picked. But when none of the warriors is interested in her she is devastated. She guesses she is just not meant to find love. Resigned, she goes to the transport room to return to earth only to have it breakdown. This poor girl can’t get a break! So, they arrange for her to be transported to earth by another warrior, Ahri Isto. He has always been a little angry he was never picked to participate in the bride games, so he tells himself it is for the best, because there is no way a warrior/spy has time for a mate. But as soon as he smells Twilah he knows she is his mate, but he is going to get her to earth as fast as possible and forget about her!

But alas, fate has other plans! Their ship malfunctions and then is attacked by an Averon Hordeship and they crash land on an unknown planet. I guess these two will have a chance to get to know each other after all, if they don’t kill each other first!.

This is book 11 of the Khanavai Warrior Bride Games and can be enjoyed as a standalone. This is the story of Twilah Mason and Ahri Isto. Twilah is having no luck finding love on earth so she signs up to be a contestant in the Warrior Bride Games. Unfortunately she isn't chosen and must return to earth. She misses the shuttle and can't be sent back using the transporter. Ahri is a Khanavai pilot. He too applied for the games and is rejected. His job as a spy against the Alveron Horde is dangerous. But before he can continue, he is assigned to return Twilah to earth. Ahri is not happy with the assignment. Especially as he knows that Twilah is his fated mate. And everyone knows you must go through the games to win a mate. After surviving an attack by the Alveron Horde and crashing on an uninhabited planet; Twalah and Ahri must work together to survive. This is their story. I really enjoyed the story. It is well written and easy to read. Another great edition in this series. Look forward to the next book in the series.

Twilah is single and feels like her only shot at happiness is becoming a Khanavai bride in the lottery but unfortunately for her, that doesn't seem to be the path for her either as she is not chosen by any of the warriors. To add insult to injury when it is her turn to go through the transporter back to earth it breaks down. Ahri is a Khanavai warrior and spy who has just been to Station 21 to give vital information and is on his way back to doing his job when he is tasked with taking Twilah home. Ahri is of the mind that a mate, love and family are things that will hinder him from doing his job so despite him immediately realising that she is more than likely his mate he is determined to drop her off and carry on with his life but it seems fate has something else in mind for them and they are attacked and crash land on a deserted planet. Can they survive everything the planet as to throw at them and will Ahri change his mind and decide that maybe life isn't as black and white as he assumed. I loved the characters and the book kept me enthralled from start to finish.

Loved this series and this story about Ahri a Khanavai warrior who's determined to put duty to his mission before loving his fated mate, Twilah an enjoyable story. Twilah full of hope gets selected as a bride at station 21 and is looking forward to having her own Khanavai warrior. Only she gets rejected. Twilah is going home when the transport malfunctions and she is sent to a transport ship where she meets Ahri her pilot. Ahri a dedicated warrior is sent to station 21 before his mission to get info on the Alveron Horde reflects on his possible life with a mate but concludes it's a lost cause. When Twilah gets on the transport ship, he realizes she's his fated mate. When the transport ship gets attacked by the Horde and they crash land on a planet, will surviving together change Ahri mind about having a life mate? There's angst, drama, romance, and action since the Alveron Horde ship also crashed on the planet. What will happen between them is an engaging story I received a copy and volunteer to read and review.

Twilah has given up on finding love with a human, so she does what many other women have done; she volunteers for the Alien Bride Lottery. Unfortunately, she makes it all the way through the games without being chosen by a Khanavai warrior. To top it all off she misses her shuttle flight, and the transporter is malfunctioning, so she ends up getting a ride with a Khanavai pilot who makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with her. Unlike most Khanavai, Ahri had resigned himself to never having a mate. His job is dangerous, and a mate would be a distraction. A point proven when he is ordered to transport the human woman back to Earth.
Twilah and Ahri are absolutely wonderful characters. They are well written, of course, but they are also compelling, and original. I loved this exciting addition to the Alien Bride Lottery. Shipwrecked, an attack by a hostile alien race, and happily ever after. A must read that I recommend to other readers.

Twilah is determined to find love and not just any love her absolute and only one. With this in mind she signs up for the Bride Lottery knowing that Khanavai warriors know who their mate is and that they are together for life. All her dreams are dashed when she is not selected. Trip of shame home it is then, except it not definitely is not! Ahri has long accepted that a mate is not for him and yet his heart squeezes every time he hears about the lottery and a warrior who has found their mate. Far more affected than he would let on and even more so when it seems that his mate has somehow found him. I love this series. While there is action and side plots to the romance they are not as complex or involved as others. I am not saying that they are simple, far from it, just that at this moment when my head is swirling with everything else going on they are my respite. I can pick them up and get lost for half an hour without having to do a huge recap first and find my place. Great characters, a warmth to the writing that never fails.

Twilah just wants to find a man who would love her but she has had no luck on Earth. She decides to pin her hopes on the alien bride lottery. She has seen how much the match couples love each other. She is thrilled when she gets picked to be in the games. However she is heartbroken when no one shows an interest in her. She is about to be transported back to Earth when there is a malfunction. She gets assigned to a shuttle and a pilot to return her to Earth. Her pilot Ahri runs hot and cold. It is clear that they are both attracted to each other but he keeps pushing her away.

Ahri has given up on finding his mate and has dedicated himself to his job spying on the Horde. When he runs into Twilah he fights his feelings for her. Even though he suspects they are mates, he can't mate her because of his dangerous job. He knows that he should keep his distance but the pull of his mate makes it very hard.

I really enjoyed this book. The story was a fun adventure. Great world building and wonderful characters. Poor Twilah has had horrible luck with men. And even the Bride Lottery left her disappointed- and the only woman unclaimed. But it was that very thing that led her to exactly who she needed to be with. Ahri is a Khanavai warrior taking on an important mission. He had tried for the Bride games in hopes of finding a mate but had been rejected, and now tried only to focus on his mission for the greater good. When he is ordered to bring rejected bride Twilah back to Earth, he isn't happy. The story quickly becomes fast-paced and action-packed and I was hooked. I really liked both Twilah and Ahri. I felt so sad for her at the start at how hopeless she felt, but when needed she really stepped up.

'She seemed eager to learn and adapt, qualities I admired despite my need to keep an emotional distance.'

I liked Ahri. He was capable and smart and kept a level head. When Twilah was feeling hopeless, he reignited that spark. 5 stars.

Another great book by this author. Full of drama, action, romance, intrigue, adventure with lots of twists and turns. Well this author has done it again, she has written another fantastic book for this series. Twilah has entered the Bride Lottery hoping to find a mate but doesn't get picked- No Bride Here. So she tries to return to her home but the transporter isn't working. She has to take a ride on a ship piloted by Ahri to get home. On their way they are attacked and crash land on a planet where it appears they are the only ones on it. They then learn that the other ship that was attacking them has also crashed and trying to find them. The longer they are together, they find that they are having feeling for each other, has some steam between them. Will hold your attention till the end and have you wanting more. Can't wait for the next book. Would recommend this book.

Twilah thought the Bride Games held her last hope, but after all hope is lost, hitting rock bottom with a cranky alien just might lead to the love she was hoping for.

Ahri is 100% dedicated to his work as a warrior and spy - he can't afford a single distraction. Love, and family, isn't for the likes of him... is it?

This done in one Kindle unlimited quick read strands two strangers alone on a distant planet, leaving them to learn to work together if they want to survive. I loved Ahri struggling to find the right words, this poor one man army suddenly faced with the challenge of a lifetime - conversations he cares about with someone who matters to him. Twilah doesn't magically have the skills they need, what she has is a willingness to learn, and determination to survive, making her a wonderfully strong character.

Twilah, for as long as she can remember, has only wanted someone to love. Since the press releases about the Khanavai have been entirely positive she has been entering the bride lottery every year. When her number comes up, her hopes are dashed, when she is not chosen and has to return to Earth.

To add insult to injury, she is being transported by a gruff, uncommunicative male who quite clearly wants nothing to do with her. Disaster strikes and they crash land on an uninhabited planet.

Ahri is utterly focused on his career and does not see himself getting a mate. So it takes him by surprise when this human female smells overwhelmingly enticing and he finds he can't fight his attraction to her.

A wonderful story following their need to work together to survive, their growing understanding of each other and their mounting mutual attraction.

Again, a unique story about the journey and adventure of finding ones true mate.
I liked Twilah. She has been trying to find love, but to no avail. She even tries the Lottery GAmes and is rejected. On her way back to Earth is where the adventure begins. Her courage and willing to learn was fun to read. Her first encounter with Ahri Isto was interesting.
Ahri Isto a true warrior. Now he has to take this human woman back to Earth instead of fighting the horde.
You can feel the hesitation in both. The eventual commitment and of course the off the chart chemistry.
Action, I love the twists and the slow eventual spicy romance.
And we can't forget how they outsmarted Vos Klavoii, the Games director.
Excellent story.

I really enjoyed this story. I like that the characters grew as the story progressed and they came to depend on each other. It was a slow burn but worth it because the chemistry between Twilah and Ahri is hot. I highly recommend it if you like slow burn and/or alien and human fated mates.
Twilah's last chance to find love is to join the Alien Bride Lottery but unfortunately she wasn't matched. When she is sent back to Earth on a special shuttle due to complications, she meets Ahri. Ahri is pilot gathering intelligence for the military. On their way to Earth, they are attached and end up crashing on a remote planet. Ahri knows Twilah is his mate but he can't have a mate when he is devoted to the military. The two must work together to survive the strange planet and each other.

Twilah Mason survived the Alien Bride Games but, to her dismay, she was not selected by a Khanavai male. Needing alternate transportation to take her back home, she was directed to catch a ride with Ahri Isto, a very grumpy Khanavai pilot, who lets her know he does not want to be stuck with her. But life sometimes tosses lemons at you and you have to make the best of it, especially when the ship is attacked by the Alveron Horde and crashes onto a deserted planet. Realizing Twilah is his mate, he still needs to avoid distraction as long as possible to protect her. Will the two of them give into the powerful urge that pulls them together? Will they find a way to escape? And will she finally find the place she was meant to be – fighting at the side of her mate?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story as I have with all the others in the series. The bride games have started again, and Twilah Mason has her hopes it on finding a Khanavai warrior to call her own. She arrives on Station 21 but finds out next day that she was not successful. It’s been chosen and has been sent back home to earth. Vos Klavoii the director of the Alien Bride Games insists that Ahri Isto is to take her back to earth. They are on their way back to Earth when the FTL fails, and they crash land on a strange planet after fighting with the Alveron Horde ship. This is the story of how they become fated mates.

loved it !! love this series !! love Twilah and Ahri.. this is their story.. a fast paced drama... Twilah is so lonely, her life is boring... her job is really boring... she just wants to be loved... really loved... so , it's off to the brides games.. then, rejected, dejected and now.... Ahri Isto is a pilot and spy... his missions are dangerous and lonely for the warrior.. he's always pissed off... now, he has to fly a rejected bride back to Earth... urgh !!! then, crash landing on a deserted planet !!! really !!! so good !!! each story is so different... so good !!! can't wait for Vos' story !!! so ready !!!.

Twilah was sick of rejection and ready to fi d love. She signed up for the alien bride lottery games but was rejected there too. Down hearted she was being sent home. Ahri has signed up for the bride lottery games but never got picked to play. He resigns himself to be alone and telling himself his life is to dangerous. As he's assigned to take Twilah back to earth, he knows she his fated mate, but he's determined not to claim her, but as they ended stranded on a planet fighting to survive. These twos attraction is off the charts. Now they will show the bride games what a fated mated pare can do. Drama. Action packed. Adventure. Steamy. Fated mates. Wonderful characters. Good story.

I have to start saying that I was really a fan of these series but I don't know how I feel on the route that the series is turning at. In this book we found the story of Twilah an Earth woman that have not had luck in romance with humans, she have decided to try her luck in the bride games only to be rejected and Ahri Isto he is not only a Khanavai warrior but a spy also, he is in possession of very important information, plus he feels like he can't bring a mate to the equation. As things happened he is assigned to bring Twilah back to Earth when all hell go lose, No spoiling the story but there is a lot of action and adventure, sprinkle with some spiciness, no cheating and a Happily Ever After.

Such a cute and entertaining novella.

A slight departure for this couple as most of the interaction occurs away from Station 21. Ahri and Twilah have some definite challenges to their relationship, but they are successful and come through stronger.

I love this series, it is little snippets of love among the stars. I especially like how each mating destroys Vos Klavoii's plans. Being so evil and all, it is funny to see his machinations come to naught.

I eagerly await the Alveron Horde and Vos Klavoii receiving their just desserts - someday.

Margo has created an amazing world in the Alien Bride Lottery. The lottery was designed to connect Khanavai warriors with their mates. Twilah is so lonely and decides entering the lottery is her answer. Ahri has applied for the lottery but not accepted. He's the pilot tasked to take Twilah back to Earth when she was rejected at the games. But the ship crashes on a planet and they are alone. Maybe. This story is loaded with angst, plot twists, action and slow building romance. This book is 11 in the series but I recommend starting at the beginning to get the underlying history of the lottery. There's a lot going on in the background of this series.
