What a very interesting adventure! The plot holds together as it takes the reader on a supernatural adventure with a dwarf and elf. While very fanciful with non-human characters, settings, and scenes, it also taps simultaneously into something very human and natural in terms of the spirit, interactions and reactions of the main characters in the situations in which they find themselves along their journey. The writing is very graphic and captivating. At the end, I found myself wanting more. Highly recommended for young readers!

Great fantasy novel with as much depth and less head scratching as so many LOTR knockoffs. The illustrations attached are magnificent and the journey of an elf and his dwarf companion will make readers pray for follow ups.
