The Bartender

Rate this book
Aiden is as homophobic as they come. He thinks gay people are perverts and criminals, and that it is enough justification for him to bully a gay kid at school.

When his best friend moves back in town and refuses to talk with him, unless he changes, he ends up meeting a man who challenges his entire beliefs and views.

His world then crumbles down and changes around him, causing him to run to that man.

Bethie Simone is a romance writer who loves telling stories about love and the quiet idiosyncrasies that come with it. She believes everyone deserves love, not just the overachievers or the popular kids, but also the ordinary people we pass by every day.

Her stories center on those lives: the average guy, the overlooked soul, the person simply trying to get through the day, until a chance encounter shifts everything and makes their lives better. Through her writing, Bethie tries to remind us that everyone is the main character of their own story.
