Two years ago, Noah Porter would have been described by his closest family and friends as charismatic, outgoing, the life of the party, and a social butterfly. That all changed when Noah became the victim of a mass shooting at a popular nightclub. Noah escaped with his life, but his two best friends weren't so lucky.

Noah now suffers from PTSD, agoraphobia, anxiety, and depression. No one has been able to coax Noah to leave his property, not his family, friends, or his therapist. The furthest he will travel is to his mailbox, where he will normally socialize with Mr. Herbert, the friendly mail carrier.

One day, Noah finds himself sitting on his front porch waiting for Mr. Herbert to stop by. To Noah's utter dismay, a new mail carrier jumps out of the truck. Noah narrows his eyes at her in displeasure once she greets him with a broad smile and a cheerful wave. He refuses her friendly gesture and prays her assignment to his route is temporary. However, his prayers go unanswered. Instead, Noah finds chocolates and a letter from the woman asking how he is doing. Noah finally responds to the woman's attempts to contact him, sparking a sweet and innocent romance between the two through the mailbox.

Will Noah's love for Lauryn be enough to put his fears behind him and convince him to step outside his comfort zone to pursue a happily ever after?

Mentions of PTSD, agoraphobia, depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation.

I loved this story about overcoming obstacles and finding hope, love, and redemption in living again.

This story was wrapped up beautifully with two epilogues. Thank you A.N. Boyden for giving your readers sweet endings to a sometimes difficult journey.

Such a heartwarming story about real life hardships and how communication solidifies and builds romantic and family relationships.

MMC was shot two years ago. His best friends died and he was left with PTSD, survivor's guilt among other mental struggles. He refused to leave his house for 2 whole years. The only person he wanted to communicate with was his old mail-man and from a distant too.

One day, the old mail man was replaced by our sunshine FMC. She took multiple initiatives to break into the MMC shell. And he let her in quickly because he needed a friend so bad and he's an actual softie who cries easily if you get to know him.

OMG… this is one of the BEST novels that I’ve read this year!
It has drama, trauma, love, erotica, and laugh out loud humor!
Just READ IT 👌🏾
♥️👅🥰🥺🔥

Favorite Quotes:

“Why are you doing all of this? Why did you befriend me?” “Because you’re worth it, and you needed someone to remind you.”
——————————————————————————————————————————-
“Good morning, Turbo. Why are you crying?” Noah asked with a sly grin once he answered his phone. “I finally made it,” Lauryn sniffled. “Made what?” “I landed me a sugar daddy,” she whimpered. “Funny,” Noah chuckled
“Material gworl, and I get it from my mammy Balmain bust down, these hoes can’t stand me. Material gworl, currently working on a Grammy meanwhile, pussy poppin’ with ya man in Miam–”

“I didn’t give you that much,” Noah interrupted. “Nitro, I woke up to $2,000.00 in my Cash App account.” “Women can be expensive to maintain. Didn’t you say you wanted to get your hair braided and get your nails and toes done?”

Enjoyed the story, characters and message, but with some questionable mental health 'advice' given by the FMC fairly early on and like the previous book I read recently by this author, the execution was really not up to scratch. If not for those things, this would have been a four star rating from me.

However, that being said, I like both of the books I've read from her so far and am still interested in reading more, in fact I even have another one on my KU currently that I'm sure I'll get to sooner rather than later. I just really hope that there is improvement in the author's writing in future books as it currently does her creativity a huge disservice.

Turbo and Nitro💌📫❤️

This was such a sweet love story❤️. The circumstances of Noah being stuck on his property is understandable, whats sad is that his family and friends didn’t put in much effort to be there for him🙁. Noah was lucky that Lauryn had taken over the route of Mr. Herbert. Lauryn’s approach in getting Noah to open up and gain his trust was seamless and perfect☺️😊. I love Lauryn’s personality she’s funny, sweet, understanding, sassy, strong and exactly the kind of person Noah needed on his side🥰. The thoughtfulness and foresight that Lauryn displayed with each milestone was everything, and it certainly made it easy for Noah to fall for her and boy did they have a healthy sexual appetite🥵😈🥵. I did bust out at the scene in the restaurant, such a difference in the way the families stood by their loved ones😬😂🤣. I'm glad that the Porter family finally decided to seek help. I was impressed with the decisive way Lauryn delt with how she'd live out the rest of her life, and was surprised that Noah knew her heart better than her family❤️.

I liked how plausible the story was, to fall in love with your mail carrier, I mean some of them are hot🥵. There is a lot that happens in the book especially where the family is concerned. This was an awesome book and I highly recommend it, get it now👍🏽

Stronger then you knoa

Noah has had a awful situation keep him trapped in his home. Then thru circumstances Lauryn is brought Into his world. Through their friendship he realizes he can & should take back control of his world. Turbo as he calls her with affection will have Noah tapping into strength he never knew he had. This friends to lovers is a natural progression. I loved the banter between the two & the sexual chemistry had my kindle warm to the touch. This is a great story of finding yourself. Enjoy. 🥰

So much potential wasted on horrible dialogue and what seems to be a limited plot line.

This would have been an amazing insight on PTSD and recovery. BUT…the dialogue was unnatural and seemed rushed + The drama with the brother seemed to build up and then sizzle out for no reason + I feel like I don’t even know the MC’s because their background was short and lacked complexity = just in all so underwhelming.

The leg banter was hilarious though (even though that was random too). I think this would have been better if it had been longer.

2.5 ⭐️

Edit:
Just thinking back I did remember one more thing I like about this book.

It’s very difficult to find a book where the FMC is African American and it’s not constantly being brought up or referenced too in some way. I love books where ‘black girls’ are just ‘girls’. There were no stereotypes, examples of micro aggressions, or exaggerated AAVE.

Idk if that makes sense but I appreciated it. I can give it a solid 3 ⭐️ for that.

Mental Health

This is a powerful story of the struggles people face after tragedy. Noah lost himself after a night club shooting almost took his life and the guilt of losing his friends weighed heavily on him. Lauryn recognizes his pain and becomes the force for his healing. Her life is just as interesting, even more so when the tables are turned. The first half of the book is very in-depth, the second half quickly move to the happy ending which is good but time line wise seemed rather amazing for the painful issues if the first half. Loved the other characters but loved Neal the most for his pain and growth off page.

Very Good!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very well written! I liked Lauryn better in the beginning and as written, she was a very unique character. She showed a lot of empathy with her care, concern and work to help Noah regain his confidence and get him back into the outside world. I did sympathise with Noah trying to work through his mental challenges and he is the reason why I hesitate in really giving Lauryn the full credit she deserves.

As a Postal worker she would be in a position of trust and we would not accept someone in such a position seeming to take advantage of someone struggling mentally. I thought her helping him was her giving back because of the loss of her friend to suicide. But, it seemed to quickly spiral into her desiring, wanting to grind on and talking up a sexual relationship with a hot man! I feel like her acting on her lust so soon took advantage of a situation wherein she was attempting to guide and to help him heal. That is the way it should have stayed until he was further along, even though the feeling was mutual! I also think the touchy feely behavior displayed by both in public was too explicit and disrespectful for responsible adults and the friendship they wanted to convey.

I must be prudish, but I thought some of their behavior was a bit trashy and Lauryn especially should have maintained a more professional demeanor. It did not convey love or romance, just a public display of the lust they were feeling for the other! I will be honest, as a supervisor or manager, if I had become aware of what was happening I would have questioned whether this was her taking advantage of a vulnerable citizen!

Other than these observations, this was an entertaining read!

Sweet

What a nice story with characters that you can enjoy. There is some emotional drama with a nice ending. There is parts that's funny and will make you smile, but there is things that will make you cry. It's intriguing enough for you to keep turning the pages until the end. If you are in the mood for light hearted reading this is a nice story to do it with along with characters that you can enjoy. The babies are a good bonus. It's hot and sizzling too but it's the kind story with a cliffhanger, so if you are in the mood for light hearted reading then you can read this story its hot, sexy and so tantalizing. But it's also intriguing enough to brake your heart. It will make you grin and you may need a fan because on more than one occasion the incredibly descriptive of the sizzling hot scenes of passion. There is parts that's funny and will make you smile. It's so amazingly good it will keep you turning the pages until the end.If you are in the mood for some great reading this is a compelling story to begin with along with some awesome characters that you can enjoy. Now don't get me wrong it's hot, sizzling and very captivating too but it feels like a kind of a cliffhanger at the end ,but its not and if you are in the mood for a compelling story then reading this is just what you want to read

Loved Noah and Lauryn

This author can be hit or miss for her books sometimes, but LOVED this one!!! Noah and Lauren were absolutely adorable😍. Hearing the back story of Noah, you immediately want to see him win. Enjoyed the realistic depiction of the ups & downs of managing mental health disorders with alternative methods coupled with therapy over time. Although in real life, people don't always do as well as quickly as we see in this story, there were good descriptive pictures of what people go through, the good bad and ugly of what they can feel, and how it looks like when you are consistent and faithful to "do the work" to get better. This is a slow burn with a healthy rep of how healthy love grows when you are ready and appreciate the relationship, the person, and all the other important parts of a relationship outside of sexy time. Very nice story with some twists, surprises, angst and even fear of what was coming was weaved well. Must say...Lauren, her family and their "fight" scenes were the highlight of the book for me❤😂. When I tell you I was screaming laughing and cheering them on loudly as if they could hear me. I'm not a easy critic to please, but LOVED this one. Had all the feels😍

Another winner from AN Boyden

This was another winner! I’ve read all of this author’s work since her debut. I was not disappointed. I didn’t see the turn in the storyline coming but it all worked out in the end. Won’t give any spoilers but I love Mr Herbert’s comment about his cane… I couldn’t stop laughing. Another reviewer mentioned it but the chapters didn’t download in sequence…. It jumped from chapter 9 to 11 then 10.. also further in the story was out of sync, but overall this is still excellent and worth a read.

Phenomenal!

I absolutely loved this body of work. It gave me all the feels and dealt with delicate situations in such a heartfelt way. I hollered and cackled all throughout the book. Lauryn was a piece of work 🤣 but she was such a breath of fresh air. I loved how she and Noah loved one another and constantly showed up for each other. There was so much growth happening. When Noah’s brother offered him a hug I thought of that scene in Step Brothers, with Brennan and Dereck.
Thank You Ms. Boyden for such a Feel Good Book that I’ll definitely be re-reading.

Beautiful

Amazing story, gosh I don’t even know where to start. Firstly I loved how mental illness was openly spoken about because it brought light on how different people cope with various illnesses that can often be overlooked. There was humour right throughout the book and I genuinely loved the outlook Lauren had on life; once you’re living just make the most of life. Couldn’t recommend this book enough. It seriously even has me thinking to get a therapist at this point too.

Excellent book/romance novel! I love that it starts steeped in tragedy/trauma but also from one person giving grace and reaching out with kindness no matter what they were presented with- teh characters are fiery, spirited, romantic and just work. I was not expecting the setback the couple experienced but I adored the fact that their love is real, and they were there for each other no matter what happened and through the good and the bad. This was the first book I read from this author, and I hope it is not the last.

Postal Love

This book was absolutely amazing. Beautifully written and truly enjoyable to read. So many emotions flowed through me while reading this book. I love how the sensitive topics were brought into the story and how the characters navigated through those events. I love how similar it was to real life situations and promoted or encouraged therapy, having a caring network of people and hotlines to call. This book was intense, emotional, sexy, hella funny, and overall awesome!! Bravo on such a wonderful book. This was a special delivery kinda love ❤️😊

Every time I read a book by A.N. Boyden I have to finish it in one sitting I cannot put it down. Love, Delivered was absolutely amazing. This book deals with some serious subject matter, and it is written beautifully. This book is very funny even with the heavy subject matter and every single character is amazing. Lauryn is such an amazing FMC she’s strong, confident, enjoys life and she’s caring. Noah is such a complex MMC and how his character evolves throughout the story is just fantastic. I highly recommend this book. It is such a great read.

Absolutely Refreshing!

This book is about a completely broken guy who was shown a little bit of care and concern from a complete stranger initially and it blossomed into a full love story. It was beautiful. I laughed so hard throughout the book. The only reason that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because my Chapters 18 and 19 were out of place and caused me some confusion. (The discussion about the fight came before the actual fight.) Editing error I guess.

Real life love

While I normally read romance for the HEA and an opportunity to escape the issues of real life, it was very refreshing to read a love story with characters with real life problems. And while I did. Get my HEA it was not without some trials and tribulations for the hero and heroine. I appreciate how the author tackled real life issues whiteout depressing the reader.

Love, delivered

Loved Noah and Lauryn's srory. It was full of love, drama and laughter. Noah's brother Neal was something else. Happy he got that mess together. Initially I thought that he waa going to pull some ish with Lauryn, but the dog attack was unexpected including the loss of her leg. And OMG, that scene on the restaurant took the cake. Totally hilarious her family's reaction. Great story! 💗💗💗💗💗

Great read

This is my first book my this author and I enjoyed the story and the way she has the personalities of her characters jumping off the page. The well placed humor was nicely done (I laughed or chuckled with the characters). Recommend this one, though it has some challenging times it shows the power of the human spirt and what can happen of we support and believe in one another.

Beautiful story.

This one had me laughing from the first few pages. This author wrote a beautiful and witty love story between Noah and Lauryn. Noah was suffering from anxiety and other mental ailments, and Lauryn was there for him at just the right time. They both were characters with their hilarious back and forth while still tackling life's many issues. The family on both sides also brought the drama, which made this book spicier. Well done!
