In 2025, AK is looking forward to diving into the world of women's basketball and men's football. The first book in the Fourth Quarter Fever series will be Home Town Advantage, coming on September 4, 2025.

Ok, one thing I have to say is this is my favourite book in the series so far….
I absolutely love Harley and love Brody even more. This story is a perfect love story, they fought the world for what they believed in.
This time round, you find out so much more with the individual characters. This relationship is even more 🥵 from the off go.
I love the fact that Harley always kept her focus and she always worked hard, no matter what.
This family is a insane, incredible, close family with bonds that can’t be touched. This was full of humour, so much spice, and I got pushed through so many emotions.
I read this book in two sittings, read it even quicker than Knight. I love the fact that the spice level went up even more notches and a few shocks was put into it too.
I’m jealous for all the people that get to read this book for the first time, enjoy the ride 🌶🌶

I LOVE HARLEY.
if i had the opportunity, i would’ve read this in one sitting. her and Brody are a legit masterpiece. one of my favorite tropes - professor/student but with a little twist that i ate up 10000%. not to mention, once again, the spice was immaculate.
im obsessed with all of the characters and i hope they all get their own stories. cant wait for Cass’s story next. this is definitely going to be GOOD. (and if you know Cass, the spice is going to be top tier.)

This was another fantastic story I still can't believe I didn't discover this author sooner these books are incredible. Dr Harley is book 2 in the series and what a book! this forbidden romance gave me everything ! I felt so bad for Harley rhey way she was perceived by others and although she knew she loved Brody she couldn't risk it . Aww and Brody what a guy we all needa brody he is perfect !! these two have soo many twists and turns yo get to there happy every after but it soo worth it. Great steamy romantic read !!

I'm only sorry I waited as long as I did to read this book. This was a really great story. I especially liked Harley, who is a med student. She also happens to be a very attractive woman and has to work twice as hard to prove she is more than a pretty face. One night she uncharacteristically has a one night stand with a very attractive man she meets at a club and doesn't even give her name. She never expects to see him again, but it's shocked on her first day of med school when her professor, Dr. Brody Cooper walks in and she recognizes him as her one night stand. She tells him she won't be "that girl" and can not see him, despite the attraction and sexual tension between them. He reluctantly agrees and even leaves for a couple years for a fellowship in Sweden. Eventually he decides he can't live without her and feels like the timing is right to go back and fight for her.
The time line goes from the past to the present but was easy to follow. It was a well written story that I read in a few hours. I really enjoyed this book and I love all the side characters. The sisters and the step brothers are hilarious and I'm eager to read their stories.

Loved the second book as much as the first. Maybe even funnier and hotter. I will definitely read the third when it comes out.

This book gave me butterflies - and I loved every single minute of it! You know when you meet someone that you’re incredibly attracted to, and then you get those first-date-flutters - then those butterflies intensify for the first kiss (and so on and so forth)? That’s what this book will do to you - and it is exhilarating! You just want more and more butterflies, and AK Landow delivers all of that - and then some.
I loved this second book more than the first book in this series - the first book was great and I loved so many things about it - but this book kicked everything up a notch for me. I loved the characters, the writing was fantastic, the story was intense and so interesting, and the HEA factor of this book was a perfect 10. I highly recommend not just this book but this series. There’s so much in “Dr. Harley” that you won’t want to put it down and you can so easily get yourself lost in this story in one sitting… that’s what I did. And that’s another mark of a great story - how quickly you lose yourself in said story. My hats off to you AK Landow - I cannot wait for the third book in the series!

I read both Knight and Dr. Harley over the long weekend. That's how good they are. I couldn't put them down. Book 2 did not disappoint coming off a spectacular Book 1. Dr. Harley is just as fantastic as Knight, with humor and hot hot hot steam. I've truly fallen in love with this family. It's the mark of a great book when you wish you could be friends with them. I honestly can't wait for more books in the series. Help this new author get traction. It's deserved.

I am LOVING this series. And now I have no clue who my favorite couple is in the series and I bet it’s only going to become harder🤣 I maybe loved this one a tiny bit more because ya girl loves a student/teacher romance. If your into that trope I highly reccomend trying this one out. Harley and Brody are 🥵 I can’t wait to see where the rest of this series goes!

Wow. This book is so good on so many levels. Wearing my doctor hat, I will say that this book does such a good job of showing the emotion behind every female physicians biggest fear, not being judged on merit. The fear of everyone assuming that if you succeed, it’s because you slept your way to the top. It happens in every profession and medicine is no exception. And the fear that if you do fall for someone, the worst will be assumed of you rather than the truth about your feelings and relationship. Those parts of the book really resonated with me. And the idea that medical students/residents, especially females, put their lives on hold to get through training. Ugh, got me all up in my feels. This is reality people…for a lot of us. Don’t mind me over here crying to see this part of my life represented on the page.
Wearing my romance novel enthusiast hat, I just love this whole family. The Brady Bunch reference was hilarious, and true now. I love seeing parts that overlapped with Darian and Jackson’s book. The letters from their dad are beautiful and such a wonderful tribute from him. But what I love here is watching how much Brody is willing to fight for Harley. Because deep down, that’s what we all want. The rock-solid knowledge that he will fight for us, no matter what.

After an amazing night of letting loose before medical school Harley ends up with Brody on the rooftop. Thinking she’ll never see him again she lets herself have a little fun. However when she shows up for class two days later her professor is none other than Brody.
Harley always works so hard at everything she does. She knows that she wants to be a Doctor and she goes after her dreams. Despite having others focus on her beauty and body instead of her brains she doesn’t let that stand in her way.
Brody is the best. Everyone deserves a guy like him in their life. He is such a talented Doctor and a wonderful caring man. A tragedy in his past leads him to working hard at being one of the top neurosurgeons in his field.
When Harley wants to keep things professional between to keep her integrity intact Brody agrees. However it may be harder than either of them imagined.
Ok this book was everything! The perfect amount of spice, humor, love and twists. I knew from book 1 I was going to read every book A.K. Landlow wrote.
Harley and Brody have the love that everyone hopes to have one day. Their insane chemistry is so wonderful to read about. I’m so glad I signed up to read this with the Bookishgirls. Now on to book 3!

It's been a while since I finished a book in a day but after spending the morning finishing Darian and Jackson's story I had to dive right in to this one for the afternoon and evening.
Harley is a med student how is not only the smartest at her school but also the hottest. This gives her grief because she is always fighting to make people see her looks aren't giving her the good grades. After her father passes away Harley has one crazy night before school starts. She does something completely out of character and has a one-night stand with a hot stranger at a club.
Brody is a top neurosurgeon who just moved from CA to PA. As part of his new job he is teaching one class in an agreement to pass on his knowledge to the next generation of surgeon. He also happens to be Harley's one-night stand AND her new professor. Oops.
This one is so good and these two really go through it together. The spice is...perfect. Their longing and love for each other is awesome. Can you call it a second change when there wasn't anyone in between? I'm not sure but this book was absolutely an evening well spent.

Brilliant
Loving this series, and I definitely highly recommend, book 1 Knight is about Jackson and Dare and is certainly a heart wrenching but also very funny beautiful story that had me sucked in by the end of the first chapter so good I couldn't put it down.
Now this 2nd book is Harleys (Dare's eldest daughter) story.
It pan's the same three years as the first book and is so well written. My review will not do this series justice, I cannot recommend it enough. Just download it and see for your self.
The banter between the siblings just gets better I love it. This book will have you laughing out loud but also in tears you will feel every emotion that Harley goes through especially the letters they are hard but also beautiful.

If you've read Knight by this author, then you have met Harley, a serious, dedicated medical school student who is straight as an arrow.
In a scene that's totally out of character for her, she lets herself go with a sexy stranger one night, only to find out later that he's her boss. EEK!
Though Harley is laser-focused on school, she can't stop herself from thinking about that one hot night. And Brody can't either. I loved how he appreciated her wishes, though all he wanted was HER.
When they can't control their attraction any more, the sparks really begin to fly. Brody is an absolutely stud in bed, but he's also caring and has Harley's back when the 💩 hits the fan.
I honestly couldn't have loved this book any more. It had angst, spice, and humor - the trifecta of a perfect romance book for me.

Another 5 star read
Book two was even better than the first if that's possible. I loved Haley's character completely relatable. Her experiences at school and work weren't specific to the medical field. I know many women will be able to relate to her and root for HEA. I literally laughed out loud more than once and again I cried. That damn Scott always pulling at my heartstrings. This was a great taboo professor / student, second chance, insta-love story that gives all the feels. Can't wait to read the next!

Harley and Brody are absolutely amazing together - off the charts chemistry! The timeline hops had me a little confused a few times, but they were definitely worth it. It was like getting a behind the scenes of what was going on in Harleys life before, during, and after Knight. The letters from Dad....always have me in tears....like how did he make them all so perfect? I'm excited to start the next book!

Harley and Brody, names are in itself so damm cute. This book i read it in a space of 12 hrs and devoured it completely. Just don't skip on reading about this wonderful couple. The integrity shown by Harley and the consuming love Brody has for her is a mix where you can't stop reading. Yes yes yes and more for Hardy!!!

Grey’s Anatomy meets the Brady bunch with an abundance amount of spice! the angst I got from this story is so wild, but in a wonderful, falling in love, not knowing what’s around the corner way! The understanding I felt with Harley, but also the need to shake her and make her realize what she needed was strong! A perfect rendition of fate proving true love is real! PS: I want my very own Brody!

This series only gets better with every book. The spice is *chefs kiss* but the storyline is what keeps me coming back for more. I loved the forbidden romance! This story had some unexpected twists that had me devouring each page! I love me some Brody though!

This is the second book in the series. The story between Brody and Harley kept me intrigued from beginning to end. I wanted to keep going till I finished the book wanting to know what would happen next. The connection they had from the first meeting was so easy to see. I really enjoyed everything about this book. The plot and side characters are so good. The banter will keep you laughing. Highly recommend this series.

After a one-night stand on the roof of a bar a couple nights before med school starts, you walk into your first day of class and realize your one-night stand is the leading neurosurgeon in the country and your new neuro professor. You both decide to keep it professional for the year, but your paths keep crossing and when you're around each other you're both drawn to each other. Harley knows she can never be with him if she wants her career to not be jeopardized. She already has to fight off unwanted advances from other students but other professors as well. If it ever got out that she slept with her professor all her hard work would go down the drain. Brody can't not be with her though. He waits the year and after he no longer is her professor, he wants to date her. After she tells him she can never be with him, he moves out of the country for a clinical trial for two years because he can't be around her and not be with her. After years of no contact, he moves back to try to win her over. Harley has graduated med school and is in residency and he joins the hospital again. Though he is no longer her professor, he still is a superior to her and still poses a problem for her career. When they finally give in to their desires and their secret gets out, will it ruin her career or not?
I loved that this book highlighted how hard it is for women in the working world who want to succeed and that happen to have relations with men, how it hurts the female worse, always. She is labeled as a ladder climber and her success belongs to the man she is sleeping with. There was good angst and I loved how Brody was so sure of himself with her. I also loved that Harley was strong enough to say no and to put her career first for herself.

I’m seriously obsessed with this series!
This books picks up with Harleys love story, the daughter of Darian from the first book. Harley has a one night stand with a gorgeous man at a club only to find out that he is a new professor at her medical school 2 days later.
Brody is completely enamored with Harley from the first time he sees her. He can’t get her out of his mind after they part. But he’s an amazing book boyfriend and respects her wishes to not pursue a relationship because of the ramifications it could have on both of their careers.
Then fighting their attraction to each other was the best slow burn I’ve read in a long time!

This was a very good. Book. The author did a good job with character development. The H was hot but the FMC was slow in admitting that they should be together.

This book was truly amazing and well written. Harley and Brody are like the most fairytale hot power couple that there is! The trials and tribulations they go through to be able to be together are amazing. Brody is definitely book husband material
