Reading Kathleen J. Robison’s Restored Grace was the perfect opportunity to revisit the wonderful little community of Bay Town, MS, with all its quirky, lovable characters—well, with a couple of exceptions who are intent on evil. Part of the Bay Town series, Restored Grace focuses on Carol as the main character. She’s flamboyant in dress and personality, and all she wants to do is recover from her wild BC days and serve the Lord by helping others. This includes ridding the town of that horrible man, recently released from prison who is trafficking young women---again.
This novel is ripe with heart-palpitating suspense, multi-layered characters, and the relatable struggle of a woman trying to overcome her past. And there just might be a forever love story for Carol. You won’t regret coming home to Bay Town.

Great read after Book 1 - Shattered Guilt. Fast-paced, good story, lively characters and page turner. Ready for Book 3 after reading Restored Grace.

Restored Grace by Kathleen J Robison is Book 2 in the Bay Town series. I have not yet read Book 1 in this series, but I have read the Prelude book for this series. I have been anxiously awaiting this book.
Carol Scape has mourned for her murdered boyfriend for a long while. She runs a Thrift store and loves her free spirited lifestyle. She is now ready to move forward in life and believes that God is with her to help her. She recently found her faith in God and has learned about doing for others before herself. Carol learns that Will Boudreaux, a man who spent time in prison for Prostitution ring, is back in town. Carol sets her mind to keeping girls safe from this man, especially since he has been known to scare the residents of Bay Town. Will Carol succeed at keeping the girls in town safe? Will she put her life in danger doing so?
WOW, this book was captivating from the very beginning. The author does touch on some sensitive topics including Sex Trafficking, Abuse and Sex before marriage. The author is very eloquent in how the topics are addressed. Carol is an amazing character and I LOVE her story of being a new Christian. I appreciate her gumption in wanting to keep the girls in town safe. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who needs encouragement and those who are new Christians. Also for anyone who loves Christian Fiction! FANTASTIC BOOK!
