QUESTIONS FOR MY DEAREST The girls of Lamplight are hard at work on their assignment to kill their leader, Klaus, and though their teamwork is better than ever, they still have precious few answers to the multitude of questions they have. Just who is this self-proclaimed number one spy, and why has he been living in this large manor all by his lonesome? Why were these specific members of Lamplight chosen, and most importantly, what exactly are the details of the Impossible Mission looming over their heads?
It doesn't seem like the series has a clear direction, the teacher has taken a bunch of spy drop outs to train them to be elite spies but at no point has he actually done anything to help them. They are constantly trying to take him down but don't actually do anything, besides a honey trap which wouldn't take him out in the first place.
You get other bits about his old spy group and the fact that teach is the only one left but nothing is ever really explored in this. A lot happens but before you can actually gauge what has happened they move onto something completely different, a lot of plot threads are introduced and just suddenly dropped.
I don't know if the pacing or story is like this in the light novel, it just feels very disjointed and kind of takes you out of it. As you spend more time trying to figure out what the characters are actually doing instead of enjoying the story.
The series seems to be going through very quickly to the main crux. Well, what has been set up as the main crux so far, so I'm curious at how the next volume will continue. The way this volume eneded has me curious
