A fine story of folks on the trail.

This set of books puts a reader alongside the travelers walking the Oregon Trail. It pictures the hardships that all had to deal with every day of this long tiresome trip. A well written book that brings to life the struggles each family endured. A wonderful saga of survival in the old west.

Enjoyable

I Thoroughly enjoyed the characters. The stories move along at just the right pace to keep the stories interesting and a good variety of people with different backgrounds make the stories believable. The way the stories fit together keeps the bigger story in focus.

Enjoyable pioneer epic

These four books tell of four diverse pioneer families’ track West on the Oregon trail and their early life in Oregon. The story moves well and the characters are well developed. I am quite happy to have read the series.
