Very cool way to read through the series. There is a good mix of heavy fanservice chapters and some more heartfelt stories too. These are all pretty thick pages making it slightly heavier but not glossy like some manga have at the beginning, they are nice quality though, the coloring is super well done with the more flat/matte color instead of high gloss pages.

Once I had bought this I had to have the og books to fill in the gaps and this has been a nice companion with the other chapters.

Glad I found they made a 2nd chromatic edition too!

Fans of the Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid manga and anime will love this book. About the book itself: it's a compilation of selected chapters from the series in full color, and at a pretty good deal (only ~17USD and decently thick, a little under 200 pages). The chapters included in this volume are 30, 31, 33, 43, 46, 54, 55, 62, 63, 81, and 91.

I would recommend finishing the first season of the anime, or reading up to that equivalent in the manga, and up to Ilulu's introduction at the minimum to understand the context (I personally have read three(?) volumes of the manga, watched the first season of the anime, and the first seven episodes of the second season). If you're a new fan to the series, I would recommend starting with the main manga before reading this.

If you've purchased the book in store, you might notice that it is listed as OT 15+ and shrink-wrapped. This is due to the book containing uncensored nudity and sexually suggestive situations. I personally had no issues with this, but reader discretion is advised.

I enjoyed the actual chapters. Dragon Maid is one of my favorite slice of life series. All of the main characters get to feature in their own chapters. The art isn't the best I've seen in a manga, but the characters are charming and their interactions are a lot of fun to read.

Soooo cute So much fun, love the characters Tohru is my favorite, and I love the side story with Ilulu and Taketo such a cute couple!!
