really fun novel

Good series starter into the background of the previous Worlds Apart” series. Great book for 10+. Michael Lopez writes books that would be fun to read aloud with the kids to keep them off computer games. Lots of action without it being high stress due to me MC being overpowered. Do your family a favors and start family book night with this author’s books.

A quick, action packed adventure!

This novel was a quick read, with plenty of adventure and action. It had a LitRPG type of feel with the character stats, which I enjoyed. A great start to a new interesting series!

Set in a game-like fantasy world, this book is a quick and easy read. While it's not typically my preferred genre, I think it would be a hit with younger readers, especially those who enjoy games. I'd likely recommend it to the 12-15 age group as a fun, fast-paced story.
