Snow never falls on Mount Olympus, so when impenetrable ice forms around Hades’ old room, the gods know something is wrong. It blocks all except Hades from entering, and despite Alkaios’ reservations, she steps through the shimmer guarding her door. She is the Omega, the last remaining Old One, and if this frost is a threat to the Olympian reign, she will not let it grow.
Only the world Hades steps into is not hers. It is cruelty and ice. It is filled with death, and a new and dangerous enemy traps her alone, cutting her off from everyone she loves. An enemy she may not have the strength to defeat. But with the apocalypse fast approaching, Hades calls on the one man who has always been at her side—the man who made the myth of Hades and Persephone a legend. Together they face the frozen evil, resolved to save the world or perish trying.
Pandora is the third and final book in the Pomegranate series, a fantasy Greek Mythology reimagining with a gender-swapped Hades and Persephone. This trilogy is perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas, Marissa Meyer, and The Witcher.
Nicole Scarano is an avid fiction reader and film enthusiast; her favorites being dystopian, apocalyptic, fantasy, and action sprinkled with a little romance here and there. She currently lives in Pennsylvania with her rescued pitbull, China (who was part of the inspiration for Kerberos in her first novel, Pomegranate). Nicole's passion for writing consumes her free time, especially when it includes snuggling on her sofa with China. Her love of writing is so strong, she even tattooed a quote from one of her stories on her rib-cage.
A exciting finale to an epic trilogy!! I was so happy when I saw this book was released and had to start it asap! So much happens in this book, lots of chaos (hehe), and non-action!! It sort of reminded me of Ragnarok but the Greek equivalent. I thought it was so cool that more prominent figures in Greek mythology were included in this as well! The ending was heart-wrenching, ah!! I love Alkaios and Hades. 4.5 stars! 🖤

This is absolutely my favorite of the three books. It would not be had I skipped the other two because all of my love for the characters over the last two books came to a head with this one and I was on the edge of my seat (ok bed, I was reading in bed) the entire time. This gripped me from the first chapter and I could not put it down. Please read this series. It’s so good!
Holy. Smokes. I feel an enormous rollercoaster of emotions as I close the back cover. I spent the first half of the book nauseated with grief, the third quarter of the book stressed to literally no end, heartbroken until nearly the end, and then that ending. That ending! Nicole Scarano, thank you for writing a masterpiece of a series. I have no words, other than if you haven’t read any of the Pomegranate series, stop wasting your time and read all three books immediately. 5 stars.

Not going to lie book one took me like 30ish pages to actually get into it. That beginning was not it. But I’m glad I continued and read the rest of the series. Because book three?! Dayum. WHAT A ROLLERCOASTER! I was in tears at the end! She literally ripped my heart out. I only gave it 4 stars however because I felt like the ending, specifically the epilogue, was a “I finished the story but don’t know how to end the book” kind of thing. She told this epic tale that was action and heartache and love and all the things - it was absolutely amazing… then the epilogue was 3 paragraphs saying the same thing but telling us nothing. It was just “Remember their story, Don’t go against them, their love will perseverance”. After something so great it was a little unsatisfying and disappointing. The book, the whole series, is still very much worth reading though. And I would read it again!

What an incredible end to great series. I absolutely love the story of Hades and Persephone so realizing that this one had the genders switched around was very intriguing to me. I love the way the author changed some of the myths we know to suit the storyline here. I was blown away by the ending and how everything fit together. I absolutely adored the series and this book specifically the ending was such a roller coaster of emotions. I wish I could read it for the first time again!
This book broke my heart in all the best ways. I spent the whole thing enamoured with the mere concept of the book and the end of it sobbing my heart out. When my husband inevitably turned to me and said "who died?" I didn't even know how to feel about my answer! It was exciting to see other mythological characters show up and to see how their stories ended match up with the ways they ended in true greek mythology was very fun. I'm beyond impressed with the last instalment of the pomegranate series. Thank you, Nicole, for what you did here. I love these books.

What a fantastic ending to the Pomegranate series (and the included art of the different gods was amazing!!). As with the first 2 books, the story is loaded with action. I’ve never really been too interested in stories about gods, but this entire series really drew me in. This story had a nice modern twist that I was not expecting - a great surprise! I highly recommend this book, but read the first 2 in the series first. It makes it all so much more fun.
Oh my gosh this series is a masterpiece. This was such an incredible ending to this story and I was actually bawling my eyes out. My heart was shattered and put back together just to shatter again. An emotional rollercoaster. I absolutely adore Hades and Alkaios and their Love is so beyond anything I’ve ever read before and it’s truly so incredibly and absolutely beautiful. Nicole does such a fantastic job with this Hades/Persephone retelling and I highly recommend adding it to your TBR!
Literally the best trilogy I have ever read I am speechless after finishing it. I wish I could forget I read it just to experience it for the first time again. Nicole Scarano knows how to right a dang good book, I literally couldn’t put it down. If I could give a 6 star rating, I would.
Last book in the series rounds off this Hades and Persephone retelling really well.
Loved the plot of this book, the inclusion of some other Greek mythological characters not seen before in the series, and epic love that spans centuries. The ending nearly got me, not gonna lie, but the author brought it back and provided a very satisfying conclusion.
With so much darkness in our world today this book brings to light that love true love can conquer all…. Thank you Nicole, your story is so much better than any myth..
It was a perfect ending without losing the momentum. The action and details were incredible and vivid, and I couldn't put it down. I'm a bit sad it ended but happy with the ending
I can't believe this is the last book.. this series was amazing to say the least it has forever changed my look on greek mythology. My soul is so elated by the series I 💯 hate that it is over. Nicole Scarano I'm forever a fan. THANK YOU!
I cried💜 such a great story. I couldn't but the books down til it was done. I cried an ugly cry. Hope you enjoy this book as much as me. Always bury your dead with a coin.
I found this series to be really a great read! At first I wasn’t sure about it and almost stopped reading after the first chapter. I’m so glad I read on!
I have enjoyed this series of a different telling of Hades and the other gods. This was just my least favorite in the series, harder for me to wrap my head around the story line. Still a good book over all.
