F.R. Jameson was born in Wales, but now lives in London with his wife and young daughter. He writes both historical thrillers and supernatural thrillers.
His books are, at the moment, mostly sorted into two different – but complimentary – series. The first, ‘Screen Siren Noir’, currently comprises of three novels: ‘Diana Christmas’, ‘Eden St. Michel’ and ‘Alice Rackham’. All of which tell the stories of beautiful British film stars caught up in Noir tales of blackmail, obsession, scandal and death. He is currently working on both the fourth and fifth books in the series.
The second series is more disturbing and scary, and lives under the moniker: ‘Ghostly Shadows’. Right now there is only one book published, a tale of supernatural revenge – ‘Death at the Shadows’. However, 2019 will bring four more entries to terrify and intrigue.

Three amazing stories by a very talented Author. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every book I’ve read by F.R. Jameson. He has that wonderful ability to pull you into a story and not let go. Full of great characters and intriguing plots, gave me so many hours of entertainment. Such a great imagination. Do yourself a favour and read these incredible books. Easily worth 5/5 Star Rating.
The second Ghostly Shadows Anthology collects Terror of Breakspear Hall, The Caller and Town Called Poison. This is a fantastic collection with three vastly different tales.
Terror of Breakspear Hall centers around two con-artist siblings, Simone and Robin. Their targets are the ridiculously wealthy with specifically shady pasts and their latest mark is Mr. Breakspear. When Mr Breakspear suffers what appears to be a fatal accident, Simone and Robin accompany him and his butler Murkiss back home. What happens next neither of the siblings could have predicted. I really loved the character of Simone. It was great to watch her strength grow as the book went on. Mr. Breakspear and his butler Murkiss were also well written characters. I felt for Mr Breakspear and the situation he was trapped in. I would have liked a bit more of a back story for Murkiss and the house itself. This was a gripping spooky ride that will have you wanting more!
In The Caller, a series of violent murders shock London. The victims all seemingly unconnected, apart from the brutality of their deaths. Each demise is more gruesome than the last. A card, perfectly red on each side, is discovered with every corpse. Jenna, a young crime blogger, begins to investigate but what she finds seems beyond comprehension. A supernatural demon summoned from the pages of an old horror novel, who will kill eight people across eight nights in increasingly horrific ways. Jenna is about to discover a far more terrible truth. That if you investigate deep enough, and gain his attention, you can add yourself to his bloody list… As he is The Caller, and when he visits, it means death! This is my favourite of the three in the collection. It's an intense murder mystery tale with supernatural elements that does not let up for one moment. I'm a big fan of watching and reading about true crime so I was hooked with Jenna's struggle to find out who these killers were. I loved the inclusion of her blogs as well and the killer profiles she's given. It's gory, it's quick paced and I honestly struggled to put this book down! I highly recommend checking out the rest of Jameson's work.
In Town Called Poison, the town is about to be leveled and its residents are being offered homes in New Poison. Still, some remain in the demolished town whose reputation speaks for itself. As a teen, Karl ran away from Poison after a high profile murder which landed him on the bad side of some very dangerous people. He makes a life for himself in London getting hired by The Ministry and becoming a tool of force for them. But twenty-five years later, they want him to return to investigate a missing professor and a mysterious artefact. Between Karl and his way out of this ill fated town are his former kingpin boss and his lackeys, a pajama clad cult and a pulsating force which might just take control of him for good.
This was a quick paced read tinged with cosmic horror, the supernatural and the most heinous of gangsters. I really enjoyed this one and was heavily engrossed in Karl's return home as he waded his way through the town of Poison. If you're looking for a tense read that doesn't quit, you should check this one out!
Three horrifying stories in a box set! Terror of Breakspear Hall-My first read from this author and it won’t be my last! He brings us a unique, not really haunted house story, but a house that has a presence, a malignant, hellish, and selfish presence.
Brother and sister con artists plan out a con but they get much more than they bargained for when they target Montagu Breakspear! He is the master of Breakspear Hall. When Mr. Breakspear is the victim of an attack, the brother and sister team, trying to save his life, enter Breakspear Hall. The house turns its need to survive on them! I will say no more, you need to grab this one!
The Caller-This is the second book I’ve read from this author and as before I was not disappointed! This one picks you up and carries you along on a horrific crime spree! It contains a serial killer that has been operating around the globe for centuries. A “creature from another plane of existence. Summoned forth by a book. Able to disappear into thin air. Will keep murdering until it finishes the sequence, or someone utters a particular incantation.”
Jenna writes a crime blog and stumbles upon some heinous unsolved murders. She investigates, gets to close, learns the unbelievable truth behind these acts and eventually hears this one evening, “I am The Caller, my friend and tonight I call for you!”
If the job of an author is to entertain than Mr. Jameson has done his job! And very well I might add!
Town called Poison-If the first sentence of this story doesn’t grab your attention I don’t know what would: “It looked like a severed baby’s arm was dangling from the fox’s mouth.” Welcome to the town of Poison!
A scientist of Anthropology and ancient European folklore travels to Poison looking for a particular object that he thinks holds incredible power. A former resident of Poison follows the professor to the town as nobody has heard anything from him. What follows is a tale of violence, revenge, anger, murder, a bizarre cult and an object which holds tremendous power traceable back two thousand years!
