When I say that Posey Parks hit this book out of the park, SHE JUST DID IT....AGAIN!!! This is the continuation of Luca and Lexis story and of redemption and gratification of wrongs that plagued this couple. The intimate sessions burn your eyebrows off and the FAMILY that has always been there and will always be there. You will laugh, cry and absolutely enjoy this page turner. ANOTHER ONE POSEY PARKS!

But he loses his virginity to 2 escorts (so he has experience to please his queen🙄)
Then he never looks for her once in 5 years after she left. Becomes a total whore, takes OW virginity and is engaged to OW and then his family brings up h name after 5 years and hes like oh yeah she’s the love of my life I better go find her. Shut the fuck up. She should be his one and only EVER if he loved her so much. Learn about sex together ffs. And she leaves and you know her sooo well and love her sooo much but you don’t think you should find her and find out why she left? Yeah, no. FUCK THAT SHIT.
Dear author, do you know what true, unconditional love is? Because being faithful is part of loving someone. So you basically said he never loved her with his actions. Fuck that.

OMG! This book is fiyah!
Lexis struggled in getting her life together after she left Luca to protect those she loved. Just when she gets her life to where she wants it, Lucas finds her. She also finds out that she has had some hidden protectors all along. When Lucas figures out why Lexis left, she begs him not to go ballistic and why. They hatch the perfect plan. She realizes that Luca has had women in his life while she was gone but Darla took it to another level. Lexis gets into Milo's head with Gianni and that messes with his plans for getting Lexis back into his life where he wants it. No matter how long Lexis and Luca have been apart, nothing can destroy their love for each other, especially when he discovers Gianni.
In the end, everybody wants a piece of Milo for what he did. I enjoyed reading about the inclusion of the character from previous books in the torture scene. Those mafia wives and assassins have Lexis' back.
With Milo and his gang taken care of Lexis and Luca can finally get their long-awaited HEA. And so can Lexis' parents, Ritchy and his lady, David and Tamika as well as her former Nanny and Harlem.
I really enjoyed reading this book. This series was filled with action-packed emotional highs and lows drama. I stayed up half the night reading when this book dropped and couldn't put it down. It was a very well-done book and series. If I could give it 10 stars I would. It was just that good.
There is just one thing that was left unresolved, where is Darla? Will we be seeing her or her spawn in another book in the series?

Good, But Unrealistic
MAJOR SPOILERS**
Book 1 was great.
Book 2 was good, but more unbelievable.
Book 3... I had to skip a lot of parts in order to finish it. The character development didn't happen, at least not for the FMC.
What happened to Alexis was horrid, so her reaction to the threats was probably not well thought out.
With that being said..
Here are my "Why's?"
Why stop taking the pills and think it's okay to wait to tell him when she was ready?
Why be so adamant about going to help her father when so many dangerous events had just occurred? They could afford the help, so why not hire help for him?
Why operate on the nose and not examine the entire body, or run any blood tests?? That entire part made absolutely no sense.
And, why add-in the lie and say her boyfriend beat her up? It was a private operation.
Why manipulate the nannies age late in the story? Alexis was almost 30 at the end, which meant the nanny was at least 50 (by the end of the story) by how she was described in the beginning of the story. However, she's suddenly having babies?
Why did no one notice Milo carrying that container into Lucas bathroom?
Why go through all of those maneuvers just to run away and not secret her father and Natalie away, then tell Lucas? She waited a year to tell the woman her life was in danger. She only had someone look after them, AFTER the nanny came looking for her.
If she was broke, where did she get the extensive makeup from that gave her Mission Impossible facial and body alterations?
Why did she never once consider looking for help in one of their many connections?
Why would a mother who was happy to leave a child for 20 years, never seek said child out, suddenly do a 180?
Regardless to Alexis feedback, she never had a real plan and was forging a life in Chicago.
The only changes she made was to Chicago, downsize, and use her middle name.
All of the years lost were unnecessary because as soon as Lucas came back into the picture, changes happened and they were able to stop the threat.
Her anger at Lucas and his dating, was beyond irrational and irritating, considering she kept pushing him to date and sending him mixed signals.
Alexis placed herself and her child in danger repeatedly, unnecessarily, even after being warned.
I feel like this book could've been wrapped up in Book 2. I skipped a lot of the storyline involving Alexis posturing and the torture, because it became ridiculous and boring.
Also, the annihilation of Milo's parents, didn't fit. They had nothing to do with anything that happened, and were just terrible parents; but, that shouldn't have been a death sentence.
If accountability were going to be accepted, then Alexis had something to pay for too.
Her using their child as a tool in her games with Milo, before she even planned to tell Lucas he even had a child, was just trifling and made her a terrible parent too. She was little better than Milo's mother. And when Lucas was upset, she used her trauma to emotionally manipulate him.
There was action, hot sex scenes, and plenty of thrilling moments, but too many extra characters and storyline fillers. The storyline that dragged out, the scenarios that made no sense, and ridiculous over-the-top ruthless projections for the FMC, is why my rating is a 3.
This book tried too hard and missed. I wished I could've given a higher rating, but that wouldn't have been fair.

Lexi is now living in Chicago and has formed a fighting organization similar to the one she had with Luca’s. She finds out she is pregnant and is scared that the baby might be from the rape. She is also working as sous chef in a prestigious restaurant. She also finds out that Marco, Luca’s brother has been keeping an eye on her. Catch and Ritchie have been looking after her to make sure she is safe. She learns that Luca is dating a criminal lawyer and is getting serious about her. When Luca’s new girlfriend comes to Chicago to talk with Lexi, she has a panic attack because the girl looks like her. Lexi tells the girl she has no plans of going back to New Jersey and that she is a pathetic girl lusting over a man that would never love her. Luca decides to find Alexis to find the truth why she left. Lexi’s makes Luca dig into his people to find the truth of what happened to her. He had arranged a date with Lexi’s but she had a panic attacked so he took her back to his hotel room there she had several break downs and in one of them she gave hits that she was raped. Lexi’s made Luca dig into his people to find the truth of what happened to her. She told him he needed to find out for himself. When he found out that Milo had raped her he almost lost his control but he stayed calmed and formed a plan to take him down. He also found out he had a son. Lexi and Luca take down Milo’s goons, they also get married and after days of torturing Milo they kill him. They also learn that Milo got married to Darla the girl Luca had been dating and she had plastic surgery to look just like Lexi. Lexi became a Donna and started her family w Luca

Fav Duet
First I love this book took place in Jersey being a jersey girl myself and growing up 15 minutes away from Jersey City brought all the feels.
Now that I read both books because this is a duet, omg I loved loved loved it. I am all for she is mine and don’t touch but this was on a whole other level and I loved every moment of it. Lexi’s and Luca are a power couple in every shape way and form. The way he treats her as a queen, it is beautiful. He makes sure no one disrespects her and knows their place. The love they share can start a fire. The spice is on top level with them. You will be hooked from beginning to end. I didn’t want to stop. I loved every bit of their world and more.
So if you want a headstrong and beautiful alpha female you will get that with Lexis and more. As for Luca, he is the Don of the mafia. He won’t let you cross his woman and puts her on a pedestal. Look at her the wrong way and die. But the spice these two have is HOT. Then this book is absolutely for you.

Best Read Ever!!!!!!
Okay again I’m crying can’t stop reading, I loved every page to the very end. I have one question what happen to Darla. Will there be a Ruthless Mafia Boss 3, just asking. I was so happy when Luca found out about Milo, every time that brought up what happen I cried. Sad part I know that feeling, the only difference I was in kindergarten when it happen, my father was in the military stationed overseas. The worst part is out of my whole life I’ve been raped 1 by a stranger, 1 by a cousin, and when I divorced my ex he did for a couple of years. But thank God I see a counselor now, I can say this here because know one knows me.
I love how they show love to Lexis for all the crap Milo did, the women coming together to support her that was mind blowing, I loved every moment.
Can’t wait to see what’s next already read 7 of Hidden Witness.
Your one of my top 2 authors, so I’m ready for whatever is next.

No mercy
Don’t cross the familia because you’ll f around and find out that they are masters of torture and death. Lexis experienced a horrific attack that she survived. She had to make a quick decision that forever altered her life and the lives of others. She also had to live with the consequences of that decision. Luca was devastated by her decision. What they went through while apart was heartbreaking. I really wanted them to get back together but that monster was a factor and so was the safety of loved ones.
So this book isn’t for the squeamish because the torture party was ALOT and very descriptive at that. It was a bit much for me because it seemed to go on forever, but I get it now why tho - everyone wanted their pound of flesh. Lexis and Luca deserved all of the happiness after all of the hell. Lexis also more than proved that she is a Donna she was ready to claim her throne.
Overall it was a great read.

Absolutely Marvelous
I hadn’t read a story like Luca and Alexis, and I enjoyed every moment. The characters is so captivating even with the scene that was kind of hard to read. WOW what Lexis had to experience was so unfortunate that it makes her leave the life her Luca shared, I can't say that Luca can't be charming but he is handsome and women fall all over themselves to be with him. But their chemistry is instant, and it's forever. I felt so much compassion Lexis and for the challenges both them would be link too beyond the limitations they’ve put on themselves in both life and love. This vengeance, sexy, witty romance is so exciting and I was rooting for Luca and Alexis from the first page to the last. There was also a fantastic supporting cast of characters, including an enigmatic bad guy. There is cliffhanger but the story is so fantastic you will be like me I couldn’t wait to get my hands on book two.

SO WORTH THE WAIT!!!
I love these series Posey continually releases. Lexis and Luca really take you on an emotional roller coaster of highs and lows. You really get to delve deeper into these characters and their lives and get some answers to some questions about certain things. It’s definitely a page turner, you’ll be reading just trying to see what’s going to happen next. Then when you least expect it you’ve reached the end. I really also love when the other characters from other books show up, you just know some good times are about to go down. Highly recommend this story!!!

Ok book 2 don’t get any better. There is only so much I can take of saying a persons name in every sentence of dialogue between characters. It was obviously being used to let the readers know who was being addressed. But constantly putting the persons name at the beginning/during a chat was painful
The revenge on Milo was so far fetched it’s really brought the story down, add on all these empowered woman who were experts in everything made it so over the top fantastical. Even down to being a FX expert as a hobby.
It all went downhill fast from there and I skipped over huge sections just to see how this bad story ended

Sweet justice!!
First off I did not see the twist coming with that crazy was Darla. Brilliantly crafted!
I don’t usually give 5 star reviews however this book earned it. Ms. Parks crafted the history of the main characters (Luca, Lexis, Milo) and secondary characters so well. We understood why they behaved the way they did. What drove them to make the decisions and choices they did. I liked that she allowed Lucas to express his pain, hurt and feelings from a man’s perspective on his woman being raped (by his best friend). It was powerful to see an alpha male express his feelings so rawly.

Ruthless Mafia Boss 2
I don’t know how I will be able to work today! I was determined to finish this book. I cried so much for Luca & Lexis, it was devastating that Milo betrayed the whole & friends. Milo knew he was wrong in every sense in this scenario. So happy that everyone got a piece of him. Darla needs her little wagon fixed. HEA was so sweet for Luca, Alexis, Luca Jr. & Kaile 😍😍 I am happy for Marco & his HEA. Thank U Ms. Posey U delivered on this one! Positive Vibes always!!!!

This was awesome! It was truly worth the wait! Posey Parks has done it again and I could not put down my kindle! I have also enjoyed the inclusion of other characters from the other books and I am also glad that Alexis is now part of the girls group as donnas! This was a great story and I am anxious to read the upcoming book (I have read all the others before) "Hidden Witness 7 with Dillon and Sierra"! Great series!

This book was the perfect ending to Luca, Lexis and Milo story.
It was hard for me to read their story at first because they both suffered so much being away from each other. I was glad I didn't have to wait too long before they were reunited.
Baby, the way they got their revenge on Milo was priceless! My mouth dropped when the Assassins and Mob Wives were introduced!
Like I said, This was the perfect ending. Thank you, well done!!

I have to give it to Posey on the second book I never cried so much on a book before. This book hit so close to my heart and gave me so much relief. The way all the wives and family came together to handle Milo and his crew was great. They got what was coming to them and I just hope they can find Darla and make her pay as well. If you haven’t read the series then you are missing out on great reads. Go out and get them this is going to be one of my top books.

I’ve struck Gold
This was truly a hair raising, top of your lungs screaming, moving story. If you haven’t read part one, stop and start at the beginning. Be prepared to laugh, cry, scream, and shout through both books. That is how well written Parks did with the Ruthless Mafia Boss. This was my first experience with this author, but I guarantee you it will not be the last. If you are an avid reader then you’ll appreciate this book.

Great book but scary as H- - L!!! OMG. I can’t believe the torture Lexis went through, for 5 years, because of Milo. But Luca and Lexis remedied that problem once and for all.
If you have a queezy stomach, don’t read this book BUT it is definitely worth it. I had to close my eyes and put it down for a few hours but I went back to it again.
Luca was brutal and ruthless but he loved and honored with the same intensity.

2.5 this was very gruesome and idk if i should’ve read the 1st book first. The POVs switched so often throughout the chapters that it got confusing. Timeline jumps just happening in the beginning unannounced. Decent one time read but v violent😵💫
ALSO if you’re dating the mf head of the mafia you tell them if someone is blackmailing you instead of trying to figure it out for yourself like what. That would’ve shorten this book by 200 pages

Full of love and strength
Posey did her thing once again! This Ruthless Mafia series was a great exciting read. Lexis showed her strength and love and so did Lucas. This is a must read. Milo was a sick man, I disliked how they made him suffered for that long. Lexis had to show she is strong without Lucas and stronger with him.
I'm on to purchase Hidden Witness 7!

Torture and more torture!!!
Does it make me a bad person that I enjoyed the torture scenes so much? 😆 My favorite type of book is the friends to lovers book. Ms. Parks did a great job of relationship-building with the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed both books. I would recommend this book and author.

Holiday read
The story picks up from Book 1 and we almost speed through 5years, the focus is more mafia based in the first half and then comes the erotica esque mixed with the mafia business. The book needed a good edit, so much should have been left out it became confusing (how many people were in the torture room)?! Too many characters being introduced.

Really good story.
I enjoyed this story and I waited to write a review after read both books, once I found out there was a second book to continue the story. I could have done without the torture scenes but Milo deserved what happen to him. Will we find out what happen to Milo's wife? I hope so.very good job!

I really want more Esposito stories!! Luca and Lexis are a powerful and sexy couple. They face the typical mob dangers but the biggest betrayal from inside the ranks keeps them apart for 5 years!! I could not cheer, laugh, cry and celebrate enough when they finally connect again!! Then the real fun begins when the rat who betrayed them is smoked out unleashing the Espositos brand of revenge!! I love how strong Lexis is to overcome her trauma and allow herself to fall even more in love with her possessive, sexy alpha!! Posey gives you all the drama, action and steam you can handle in this book!! I loved it and can't wait for more Luca and Lexis Esposito ❤❤

I loved the love story and thought the violence and gore went on a little long but that is just me and I do know that it is a mafia love story! This is a good book and a satisfactory ending to the couple's love story!
