The last time I saw the only woman I’ve ever loved, we stood in a church as I tried to stop her from walking down the aisle toward the wrong man. I failed.

In the four years that have passed, she had his kid while I went on to achieve the sort of success with my band that we never could have dreamed.

I’ve sampled enough of the female population to realize no one will ever measure up to the woman who holds my heart, but she’s a mom now, and I’m unsuitable for kids.

They’ve built their life far enough away from me, but they’re coming to California. They want to see me.

My first response? No comment.

The fire that always burned between us still rages when they show up, but I should really stay away. After all, she didn’t just marry some random guy. She married my brother.

I don't know if it's because I haven't read the other CK books, but I couldn't really get attached to those characters.
I mean, seriously, if you aren't happy in your marriage, get separated/divorced before getting involved with someone else. I genuinely felt bad for Rachel's husband and kept waiting to learn he did something terrible to warrant her behaviour, but no, she's just unhappy because she chose the wrong brother, and he's unhappy because he can sense he was always second best, chosen by default because she got pregnant.
And the whole getting angry or sad because he cheated? I mean, come on, she's not innocent in this: she cheated before he did (at least from what she knows, what she suspects doesn't count in my opinion). Is it supposed to be okay because she's always loved this other guy?!
I was already not a fan of love triangles, but this book only confirms my opinion.
Otherwise the writing was good, I still like Lisa Suzanne and will keep reading her other books, but this series is definitely not for me.

After finishing No Comment, I know one thing for sure- I just LOVE devouring and absorbing every page of the latest rockstar romance, skillfully written by this talented author. This is the 3rd book in Lisa Suzanne's Capital Kingsmen series and I could not have been more excited to be back in this world.

Tommy Stevenson had all the traits I love to find in my musically gifted leading men. First, he was the gorgeous, driven, sexy as hell CK front man with a voice that could melt chocolate on a cold winters day. But, underneath that yumminess was a man who was still mourning the loss of his first and only love. Regret has haunted him for years, but there is no cure for this kind of heartache.

A trip to her former hometown will bring sweet Rachel face to face with HE who shall not be named.  LA holds far too many memories of her husband's estranged and very successful younger brother, also known as Tommy Stevenson- ex boyfriend, first love, heartbreaker. Did she made the biggest mistake of her life when she said I do? How can she spend time in the same space as Tommy without completely falling apart?

Well, if you think this sounds like a crazy, emotional rollercoaster, you have no idea until you pick up No Comment and begin to discover for yourself how amazing this twisty tale actually is. I was on the edge of my seat for most of it- dying inside for the palpable, steamy tension and unrequited longing that lived inside Rachel and Tommy when they were in the same room together. The mental what ifs were piling up but their lives were so different now, worlds apart. Was a chance at happiness possible or too hard to reach for after life altering choices were made and so much time has passed them by?

Lisa Suzanne has once again created another angsty, addictive story, my favorite kind, with unpredictable twists, turns and tingles. It was edgy, raw, heartstopping and highly emotional- checking all my boxes. Memorable characters pulled at my heartstrings while fighting the devil looking over their shoulders, as their smoldering attraction simmered away. Even with these seemingly impossible odds, I was hoping for a miracle so this second chance love could be redeemed and conquered after all.

I adored the touching epilogue at the end of this book along with an extra surprise waiting which was heart warming, smile inducing and everything I could have wanted for all of these wonderful characters. No Comment is definitely a must read romance.

I was given and early copy of this book and my review was freely given.

Five Fabulous Rock and Roll Stars!!

For all the rock romance lovers out there this is definitely a book you NEED to read. For me it was one of those extraordinary 3 a.m. books that I couldn’t put down. I always look forward to this author’s rock romances and No Comment along with its epilogue was no exception. For me she killed this book about Tommy and Rachel’s story along with little Willow.

Two souls that were always meant to be were put on a road that held heartache, longing and plenty of what-ifs. Tommy who is the bad boy and lead singer of Capital Kingsmen, met the woman of his dreams back in high school when she was his tutor. The two were building something meaningful until it came time for Tommy who chose going on tour trying to make a name for his band leaving Rachel behind heartbroken. Tommy’s brother, Eddie was there to pick up the pieces. On the day of Eddie and Rachel’s wedding Tommy came back to try to stop the wedding and have Rachel pick him instead of walking down that aisle to Eddie.

Now years later Eddie has chosen to return to LA for a new job without consulting his wife and they ended up staying at Tommy’s house even though none of the three have communicated in years. Is this their chance at an HEA…but wait isn’t Rachel and Eddie happily married with a daughter? Oh, so many twists and turns will make anything possible.

I highly recommend this book but be ready to be taken away emotionally and loving every moment of it!

“You will always be there in my silence.”

No Comment is absolute angsty, slow burn perfection. I stayed up way to late finishing this book because I could not tear myself away from Tommy and Rachel. They ripped my heart out, stomped on it and then put it back together again. I loved each and every word and finished in one sitting.

“She’s the only person I’ve ever given a piece of my soul to. And while I live by the old phrase no regrets…she’s my one regret in this life.”

Color me shocked that I LOVED Tommy. He was definitely not my favorite in the previous books, but to find out the pain he had been hiding and the reasons why he behaves the way he does broke my heart. He loves so deeply that the loss of that love decimated him. He regrets the actions he took in the past, but he’s tried to focus on his career to replace the other half of his soul. Once he opens himself up to the possibilities of a life with his soulmate, he embraces it fully. His words are magic and the yearning he feels reaches across the pages.

“He’s a different man when he’s with me, and I’m different too…because together, we’re whole.”

Rachel is the perfect partner for Tommy. She’s confused safety with love in the past and she’s realizing that she’s not happy with the life she’s living. The push and pull that she has always felt with Tommy resurfaces the minute she sees him again. Her life becomes a ticking time bomb and it’s only a matter of time before it detonates. Her longing to keep her family intact while struggling with feelings that never died is tangible.

“Whenever she was in the room, it was brighter. My chest beat in a different way. And when she was gone, darkness descended.”

These two broke me. The intensity of their feelings was palpable. The depth of their longing to be near each other was so heartbreaking. They were each other’s best friends and accepted one another for who they truly were deep down inside. Their chemistry simmered just beneath the surface and all it would take was one spark to set it off.

“This is more than just memories. This is a deep connection of two souls that were never meant to part, but we did.”

Tommy and Rachel’s journey spanned several years and was difficult and painful, but it was so worth it in the end. I loved how connected they were to each other even after several years apart. They were truly soulmates that were meant to be together.

“It’s always been you.”

Full of angst, heartbreak, so much yearning, and heartfelt emotions, No Comment is captivating and so beautiful. It will give you all of the feels in the best possible way.

Ms. Suzanne is one of those authors that grabs you at the beginning of her books and doesn’t let you go until the end. I went on the roller coaster ride right along with Rachel and Tommy with my heart going crazy. Tommy and Rachel were in love since high school, both were young and made mistakes. I know Rachel’s heart was broken when Tommy said he was leaving for a road trip with his band. Rachel turned to Eddie, Tommy’s older brother who consoled her. I can’t imagine what Tommy thought when he went to stop Rachel from marring Eddie, but she went ahead with it anyways. I hated how the two brothers didn’t get along and Eddie was always trying to out do his brother. The marriage between Rachel and Eddie keeps getting worse, and the topper is when Eddie tells Rachel they are going to California for vacation when he had an ulterior motive. Of all the dumb things to do, Eddie agrees to stay at Tommy’s home while they are in town. The angst Rachel and Tommy went through was heartbreaking as they still loved each other. There were so many secrets that came out. This is a must read, and I strongly recommend you read it. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

Loved, Loved, Loved No Comment. Ms. Suzanne will always have you hooked right from the start with her outstanding writing and her gripping storylines. No Comment is one book that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat with the twists and turns, angst and heart-stopping events that happen throughout this book. She tells us a story of two souls, Tommy and Rachel, that should have been together however one ended up heartbroken while the other one went on to live the life of a rockstar. No Comment is one of those books that you need to set aside a large chunk of time as this story had me up until early the next morning finishing it.

Tommy is handsome, dedicated to his career and sex-driven lead bad boy of the band CK, Capital Kingsman. He has really only loved one woman and that is Rachel, who now happens to be his brother's wife. He made a decision in the past that had him choosing to tour with his band instead of staying with her. Was this the right decision? At the time it was because he couldn't give her what she wanted or deserved. Rachel has been on his mind and in his heart for years and she still is his one true love. When his brother, Edward, informs him that they are coming to California for a visit, Tommy is not sure what to do. They have not spoken for years because he too Rachel from him. What will happen when the three of them are together? Will feelings resurface and tempers flair? How will Tommy deal with having the only woman he has ever loved in his house? Could this be his second chance at love but how if she is still married? But is she happy?

Rachel's marriage has not been what she had hoped it would be. When her husband informs her that they are going back to LA as he has a job interview, she is not happy. He did not discuss the interview with her or the idea of moving back to LA. Then the bomb is dropped that they will be visiting her first love, the one that she really never got over, the one that still takes up a large part of her heart, his brother Tommy. Well, the reunion was not as she expected. When Rachel, Edward and their daughter end up staying at Tommy's house all sorts of feelings come to the surface. There is so much strain on her marriage and maybe staying with Tommy was not the best idea. Having the temptation of Tommy right down the hall is just too much for her. When things are said in the heat of the moment, hearts are broken but is it for the best? When secrets are revealed and news comes to light, how will all three of them deal with it? Will this be the ultimate breaking point for Rachel?

There are so many emotions that are still running through my mind that I am still in awe of this book. The hurt, secrets, heartache, trust issues and love that were felt by all three of them had my head spinning. Ms. Suzanne's unique writing style seems to have a way of getting you so engrossed in the story that you never want the story to end. I highly recommend picking up this emotionally charged and beautifully written book but be ready for a ride on the rollercoaster of emotions.

This ia a great example of something I try to remember when j read romance novels. Just because a book is emotional, does not mean it's good.

📚 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲: Rockstar romance, second chance romance

📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Tommy and Rachel were together when they were younger, before Tommy left Rachel behind when his band skyrocketed to fame. Then she married his brother. Now, four years later, the family is coming to LA on a family trip, and he doesn't know if he can see Rachel again.

🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: It's hard to find anything I liked about this book. The writing itself was ok, but the story was so full of issues I am surprised I didn't DNF.

It failed as a second chance romance because even after reading the entire book, I have no clue what this couple was like when they were younger. I got barely any details on the past - not their friendship, their breakup, how she even met or got with his brother... so the couple's feelings weren't really validated in my head.

I'm usually not triggered by cheating, but this book had some toxic, toxic themes. Rachel cheats on her husband, then spends time in her POV villianizing him. Her husband, even though he's a jackass sometimes, is sort of nice. I felt bad for him throughout most of it.

Then on top of that - even though it's a rockstar romance and there's themes of substance abuse, Tommy never moves to actually get help. It's just a situation that seems unresolved, like he just simply won't cope with drugs and alcohol because Rachel is with him now.

Lastly, at least 7 times in this book the author used a variation of the phrase "jizz on her tits"... and that might be 7 times too many.

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 2/5 ⭐⭐

𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 3/5 🌶🌶🌶

Rachel and Tommy’s story has spanned years, is complicated, heartbreaking, and completely worth the wait in the end.

Rachel and Tommy have known each other for years and they have had a lot of ups and downs together. However, things don’t always work out the way you hope and your lives take a different path. Tommy is the only single one in the band, he doesn’t do relationships, he lives his life recklessly and wild. There were glimpses of it in the previous CK books, however, you never knew why and knowing everything that has happened it makes sense.

Rachel and Tommy have a ton of chemistry and there is no denying that. They understand each other in a way no one else does. Even after years of no contact there is still something between them. Even though Rachel took the safe route with her life and did what she thought was best, all the old feels realized that she made a mistake by playing it safe.

This does have cheating in it and is somewhat of a love triangle.

If you’re looking for a slow burn, second chance, rockstar romance this is one to check out.

I have been waiting for Tommy’s book. I was not disappointed at all. This author is one of the better rockstar authors out there, and we have been aware of Tommy’s shenanigans for a few books now.
No Comment gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the real man behind the rockstar—his motives for his behaviors and the rift in his family. Tommy has a history with Rachel, it spans years. However, they have not spoken since she married his brother.

A trip to Los Angeles has been planned, and dinner is on the schedule. Will long-buried feelings resurface? Tommy lives a reckless lifestyle, and Rachel is married and a mom now. Be prepared for twists and turns, secrets, and betrayal. There is cheating, but this author is the queen of love triangles. Can they find their way back to each other, or has the damage been done.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

There were things I liked about this book and things I didn’t really care for. I liked finally getting back into the CK world. I had really missed all those guys and their families, but I do wish we would of seen a little more of those interactions. I felt like there was a lot of this book that was really repetitive. It was almost 60 chapters and could probably have been a lot less than that. There were a lot of scenes that were basically the two main characters rehashing the same conversation over and over again.

Make sure if you venture into this book that you check for any trigger warnings. For example, this book does contain cheating & drug use…

Overall I would give this book a 3 star rating. Not awful, but not one I see myself ever revisiting.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Tommy has achieved success in his career as a musician beyond his wildest dreams, but it doesn’t fill the void left by his first and only love. He made a difficult choice which cost him their relationship however he left it too late and she married his brother.

Rachel has never forgotten Tommy and the strained relationship between her, him and her husband only makes it worse. Finding out that her husband wants to move back to LA and that they are temporarily staying with Tommy opens up all the wounds of the past and has her wondering what could have been rather than what it.

Rachel and Tommy take us on an emotional journey as they can no longer avoid the choices they made in the past. Secrets will be revealed, sparks will fly, feelings will be reignited and decisions about the future must be made as the happiness of all involved depends on it.

Wow! Tommy & Rachel’s Rocky Romance Brings The Series To A Dramatic End. Tommy Is The Difficult & Demanding Band Leader – The Quintessential Rocker – Whose One Regret Was Choosing To Leave The Love Of His Life Behind. She Is The Only Woman For Him, But Rachel Married His Brother & Started A Family, So He Is Now Committed To Bachelorhood. Here The Capital Kingsman Curse Finally Catches Up To Him, Too, In This Insta-Family Story. Don’t Forget To Download The Free Bonus Epilogue Via The Link At The Back Of The Book.

This series is a spin-off of The Replacement War, the sixth and final book in the My Favorite Band series. That is Gage and Lexi’s story. Tyler Caldwell, bass player for Capital Kingsmen, is introduced in that book. He takes part in a month-long reality TV show in which ten contestants are locked in a house without access to the outside world. It is a contest to find the new bass player for MFB. Book one of this series begins just before Tyler’s participation in The Replacement War, then picks up again two years later.

ABOUT THE CAPITAL KINGSMEN SERIES:

Capital Kingsmen is an LA-based rock band. They like black licorice bites, chicken fingers, crispy fries, cheap scotch, and lemons on hand before they go on stage to play their hearts out for their fans. The guys are all handsome, so there are always plenty of eager female fans on hand.

The band members include:
• Tommy Stevenson: vocals
• Brett Pitzer: drums
• Dustin Kingston: lead guitar
• Tyler Caldwell: bass

Tommy has always been the driving force behind the band. He is forever planning and pushing them all. Sometimes he pushes too hard. He isn’t necessarily nice. It was his idea for Tyler to participate in The Replacement War, and he insisted even though Tyler was not happy with the idea for a few reasons. Tommy insists that even though Tyler will get a lot of hate for his deception on the show, there is no such thing as bad publicity. Tommy enjoys the company of women, and he enjoys the choices that fame now affords him. Though he might not have had trouble finding company for the night before they achieved so much success, now women throw themselves at him and his bandmates. He and Tyler had been best buds in these efforts for years, but all that changed when Tyler ran into Dani in Milwaukee, just two months before his appearance on the reality show. Brett and Tommy got even tighter then, and the two best friends head out to the bars and clubs together, almost inseparable. Dustin is in a long-term relationship with Amanda.

The guys have been together since their teens, though they went by the name Dust to Dust at the time. Seventeen-year-old Tyler and nineteen-year-old Tommy were both part of the local scene in LA, and they eventually became friends after bumping into one another at shows. Tommy invited Tyler to join him and his friend in a band. Tommy knew eighteen-year-old Brett from music school and asked him to audition on drums. At that time they went by Kingsmen. When the guitarist left for college, Tommy asked Dustin to step in. Their name soon evolved into Capital Kingsmen, as they are known today. The four bandmates quickly formed a strong bond and have become more like brothers over time. They fight and they party and they make music together. They have come a long way since then.

The guys all dropped out of college when they got their first contract. They put out their first album on a small label, but it was when Ashmark signed them that their success began to take off. They were a fairly well-established band when Tyler auditioned for MFB on the reality show, and though it was only a publicity stunt, it worked. Tyler’s celebrity skyrocketed, and the band’s success did as well. They are managed by Karl. Trevor is their rep at Ashmark Records, their label.

The series includes:
1. Ask Me Later, a prequel (Tyler Caldwell & Danielle Watson’s story)
2. No Commitment, book 1 (Tyler Caldwell & Danielle Watson’s story)
3. No Chance, book 2 (Brett Pitzer & Hannah Hartman’s story)
4. No Comment, book 3 (Tommy Stevenson & Rachel Stevenson’s story)

Note that Dustin Kingston has been in a long-term relationship, so he has no story in the series.

IN THIS BOOK:

As the book opens, less than a year has passed since Chance and Hannah entered Brett’s life. Chance had become an orphan just as his aunt Hannah explained to Brett that he was a father. Chance had been nine months old at the time, and he is now about one and a half years old. Brett is preparing to propose to Hannah, so there is a small overlap between Brett’s story and Tommy’s. Tyler and Danielle are still engaged, and their daughter Luna is now three. Tyler sought out Danielle roughly a year and a half ago, discovering that he was a father. Dustin and Amanda are still engaged as well, and they have a daughter, Maya, who is almost a year old. The CK has become a much more family-friendly group in a very short time. There remains one last stubborn holdout on the bachelor lifestyle, however.

The band has just signed a contract to star in a season of the reality show Rock on the Road, co-produced by Mark Ashton, the owner of their label, and Dax Hunter, the singer for the rock group My Favorite Band. The season is to focus on the band’s experiences as it goes from producing new music in the studio to a tour in support of their new album, all while transitioning to being a family-friendly band.

Tommy Stevenson, almost thirty-two, is the quintessential rock god. As the lead singer for the legendary Capital Kingsmen, he is the face of the band. His name and image are regularly in the headlines, and it often broadcasts his latest scandal. He is volatile and unpredictable. This gets him into endless trouble with his label, Ashmark, irritates his bandmates, and keeps his assistant busy – but Tommy doesn’t mind. He believes there is no such thing as bad publicity, and he has zero shame. Tommy is a risk-taker and he dreams big, but he takes things in stride and doesn’t beat around the bush, either. He loves adventure, but he works his tail off for the band, too. He is irresponsible and is prone to impulsive behavior and bad decisions, but he wears his mistakes on his sleeve. He puts it all out there, but only a few know that it is all a mask. Underneath the arrogant, shameless troublemaker is a man plagued by his only regret and trying desperately to forget his pain.

Whiskey and weed are Tommy’s go-to vices. Gummy bears are a must-have for him, but he doesn’t share. He enjoys his status as a rock god, and thousands of women have bragging rights as a result. For him, the experience is about releasing endorphins, and he swears by it. He needs it. It is all about him, never about the woman. He does hope, however, that he might find someone that compares to what he felt with the only woman he ever loved. Leaving her behind and breaking her heart when they signed with Ashmark is his one great regret in life. Now she is taken, unavailable, and he knows he is destined to a life of interludes with nameless women as a result. He numbs the racing thoughts of Rachel and the emptiness he feels inside with endorphins, booze, and weed. He throws himself into his career full force. He has been the driving force behind the band all these years, and their success is thanks in large part to him. He thought he could accept what it cost him because he assumed Rachel was happily married. But one text from his older brother Eddie turns his world upside down. It seems that they are coming to town.

Rachel Stevenson, nearly thirty, is comfortable in the life she made with Eddie in Seattle. Their three-year-old daughter Willow is her greatest joy. She loves her job as a graphic designer and does not want to give it up despite Eddie’s repeated suggestions otherwise. He has a successful career and can afford for her to stay at home, but she needs her career, too, and she believes it takes nothing from her ability to be a good mom. She doesn’t want to feel guilty for that choice, either. Eddie doesn’t always listen carefully, but Rachel can hardly complain when he works so hard to support her and Willow. He puts in long hours on the job and does not have a lot of free time, but he does it all for them, and she is thankful for what she has.

Rachel is happy enough, because even if life with Eddie is boring, it is comfortable, and Eddie was there for her when she needed support. He didn’t walk away. He stuck by her when it was hard and helped her put the pieces back together. He is steady and grounded. He is cautious and plans carefully, although he is always seeking an advantage. Some might call him boring. He is charismatic, though, and he successfully uses his sweet-talking skills to advance his career in sales. Eddie might make mistakes, but chances are he’ll work to ensure they are never discovered because he cares about his image.

Rachel has been content to be comfortable with her life, consciously overlooking the things about Eddie that increasingly grate on her conscience and telling herself that her own happiness is not something she should expect in a marriage. She has overlooked a lot, but when Eddie tells her that he is interviewing for a job in L.A. and thinking about moving the family there, it snaps her out of her trance. She does not like being told what to do, and she hates that Eddie would make a major decision without consulting his own wife. Their communication has truly shut down, and she is only now realizing how unhappy she really is. Marrying Eddie four years ago seemed like the right thing. She was pregnant when they were engaged, and going through with the wedding was the right thing to do for the baby, even if they did have a fight. And even if they had probably both sought comfort elsewhere during their brief breakup.

Rachel had a history with Tommy. They had met in math class when she was fifteen and he was seventeen and new to L.A. He had just moved from Seattle, and the two became the best of friends. When she was twenty-one, a drunken evening led to declarations of love that they had both been repressing for six years. They had been devoted to one another for two years before Ashford records signed the band and they were poised to leave on a long tour. Tommy broke her heart then, saying he could never give her what she deserved given his rock and roll lifestyle. And Eddie, Tommy’s older brother, became a friend to her in Tommy’s absence. He eventually asked her out and she said yes. Eddie was comfortable and safe, and he didn’t make her feel small and insignificant. She and Tommy had that one night together before the wedding, and he later tried to talk her out of marrying his brother. But Tommy being Tommy, it was all selfish. Tommy never offered her anything, he just didn’t want his brother to have her. She thought she chose correctly when she walked down the aisle, but now she realizes that maybe she doesn’t belong with either of the Stevenson brothers. They are both workaholics who put themselves first, and she deserves more. Nevertheless, she is nervous to finally see Tommy again in L.A. after four years of silence. Even as she begins to believe that her marriage is over, the notion of being with Tommy again is dangerous, and seeing him will bring up all those old feelings she fought to forget. Tommy has broken her heart too many times for her to ever trust him again, not to mention the intimidating number of women he beds.

When Tommy and Rachel finally come face to face after four years, they discover that their feelings for one another never faded. They are still fresh and bold and powerful. Nothing and nobody else has ever compared. But Rachel is married, and there is a child in the picture. Things are complicated. Tommy feels a strange attachment to the little girl who looks just like her mother Rachel, much to his surprise, and he finds that the thought of having a child around doesn’t trigger the same negative reaction it always has. He enjoys time with Willow and loves being her uncle. He and Eddie make an effort to be cordial even though they’ve never really gotten along. But Rachel has some decisions to make about her future that will potentially affect them all. Yet even if Rachel does decide to divorce Eddie, timing has always been an issue for her and Tommy. He is volatile, especially when pressured. She must decide if giving him her heart is worth the risk of him abandoning her once again. The couple faces several complicated challenges, but they eventually find a well-deserved and long-awaited happy ending.

Don’t forget to download the free bonus epilogue via the link at the back of the book. It is a very satisfying ending. It picks up two days after the close of the book and ends seven years later. It is a satisfying end to the series.

Wow! The series conclusion doesn’t disappoint. Tommy finally earns his own HEA with Rachel, and their insta-family story is right at home in this series about reforming rock stars. There are a number of similarities running throughout the three stories. Tyler and Tommy both began to resent their careers, though Tyler was made to suffer for years while Tommy suffered for only weeks. Tommy and Brett both turn to the heavy stuff as they come to terms with the pressure of the band, their changing feelings about a relationship, and the notion of a child coming into the picture in one way or another. Dustin’s story is never told because of his steady relationship with Amanda. He was an example of how things can work out with their unusual lifestyle. The remaining three CK members, however, lived the high life for years. They were stereotypical rockers. They each end up with a somewhat similar story – something termed the CK curse. The men learn they have children and grow into their new family lifestyle, transforming in the process. After the fact, they might more appropriately call it a blessing. It is quite unusual that they all basically wake up one day to discover they are fathers, but it does make for an entertaining series. This story, like the others, is messy. It is complicated. Sometimes the drama goes over the top, but the story sucks you in nevertheless. These guys are not perfect and they make some awful mistakes, but it is nice to see the end result.

There are a few issues that merit mention. There are some issues with the timeline and consistency with the other books in the series. It does not always add up. Here we are led to believe that the band signed with Ashmark and left for a big tour when Tommy would have been twenty-five. Since he began a two-year committed relationship with Rachel when she was twenty-one, he was thus twenty-three. He broke up with her when he left on that tour, making him twenty-five. Seven years have passed, making him thirty-two now. Tommy met Tyler when he was nineteen and Tyler seventeen, same age as Rachel, and Tommy and Rachel had been friends for two years already at the time. Tommy already knew Brett, who was eighteen, so Brett should know Rachel the longest of the bandmates. Dustin joined when their guitarist went away to college, so let us assume that was not much more than a year later, given their ages. The guys signed with Ashmark roughly five years after that – when Tommy was twenty-five and breaking up with Rachel. Therefore, the bandmates, including Dustin, would all have known Rachel very well. And they really should have known why Tommy spun out of control when they left on tour – it should have been obvious to them. It is not credible to think that he hid a two-year relationship with his long-time best friend from his bandmates. In addition, Tommy’s age is referenced as both turning thirty-two and turning thirty-three. Since seven years have passed since the breakup, he should be thirty-two. Brett was thirty in his story and many months have passed, so if we presume he is about thirty-one now, that also makes Tommy thirty-two. So I would presume he is just turning thirty-two rather than practically thirty-three. In another point, Rachel has only ever slept with two men – Eddie and Tommy, brothers. There are a few statements that reference other men, implying that there might have been others. It can be presumed she dated other guys before her twenty-first birthday when she and Tommy started dating, and indeed one boyfriend from high school is referenced - Jake. Certainly it can be true that Tommy was her first, but the claim that he was her first kiss does not add up since we know she had at least one boyfriend. She probably had other boyfriends since we know Tommy was sleeping around before they dated. Next, the bonus epilogue is worth reading, but it once again muddies up the timeline. If you do the math, Tommy’s birthday is now supposedly roughly six months after Rachel’s. They had both been “almost” the next year older, so that two-year age difference is now more like 1.5 or 2.5 years, and half the year their ages won’t have a two-year difference. In the epilogue, he comes across as 2.5 years older than Rachel, as she is thirty-six and he is thirty-nine. But during that same time of year, they supposedly had a two-year difference previously, going on thirty and going on thirty-two. As for Rachel’s age, it took a little work to piece it together at first, but the epilogue does confirm that she was going on thirty at the time she and Tommy came face to face again four years after her marriage to his brother Eddie.

Tommy and Rachel’s rocky romance brings the series to a dramatic end. Tommy has always been the difficult and demanding leader of the band. He is not known for being nice, but the guys get along like brothers and always come around again. After a decade together, they are family. And in the last few years, their family has grown to include fiancées and children. Tommy never wanted any part of it, but the Capital Kingsman curse catches up to him, too. Unfortunately for Rachel, Tommy is toxic. His choices are impulsive, and he has proven that his priority is the band, not her. She tried to move on, but nothing ever matched the way he made her feel alive. Their story is nicely written. The plot is somewhat complex. The characters are three-dimensional, but they sometimes come across as wishy-washy and overly dramatic. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Tommy and Rachel. I rate this book four stars.

I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Tyler Caldwell, bass player for Capital Kingsmen, is introduced in that book. He takes part in a month-long reality TV show in which ten contestants are locked in a house without access to the outside world. It is a contest to find the new bass player for MFB. Couldn’t wait to get my eyeballs on Tommy’s story and this didn’t disappoint! From the start, this story hits me with quite a few twisty turns, but it kept me interested and engaged in the story, which is what I needed as I’ve been in a book slump lately. While I’m not a fan of one aspect of the book, I realized it was most likely inevitable that it was bound to happen once Tommy and Rachel were back in the same orbit.

Oh my goodness, what an amazing second chance love story, it tugged at my heartstrings from beginning to end. I can never resist a bad boy rocker and Tommy Stevenson fits that description, but as we find out his womanizing ways only mask his heartbreak and anger at himself at losing the only woman he has ever loved. Tommy pushed his girlfriend Rachel aside when he chose his band and to follow fame and fortune only to discover that her ghost has never left him and he compares every woman to her. The last time Tommy saw Rachel was at her wedding when she was pregnant and about to walk down the aisle to his brother Eddie.

It was easier for Tommy to push memories and sadness away and live the rocker lifestyle while Rachel was far away from him in Seattle, but everything comes flooding back when his brother decides to take a trip to California bringing his wife and daughter with him as he will see her again.

As soon as Rachel walks throught the door of Tommy's house the tension is so thick it could be cut with a knife, it is so apparent that whatever was between them has never faded and they are not happy in their lives apart. There are gut wrenching discussions between them where they bare their souls, but the tightrope that they would have to walk to have a happy ending involves the happiness of others not least of which a little girl. Tommy is ready to destroy the world if it stands in the way of them being together, but Rachel is a lot more rational in her thinking and will sacrifice her own happiness for that of her daughter.

There is a theme of frustration and tension running all through the book. Both their feelings run high and their attraction explodes into an inferno that cannot be denied. Rachel is not happy with her husband but she is reluctant to rock the boat until she realises that their marriage has run its course. Tommy is the rough hard guy on the outside but he shows his soft side with Rachel and with her daughter especially as he realises that he has always wanted is within his reach. I especially loved the adorable scenes with the gummy bears. However he cannot contain his anger and frustration at the situation he finds himself in and takes it out on everyone around him to the point that he almost ruins his career.

Lisa kept me totally engrossed in this tale with its totally unexpected twists and turns and seemingly impossible barriers to jump over. I was certainly not expecting the story to play out like it did but I breathe a big sigh of relief at the ending. I have loved all the Capital Kingsmen books in the series so far but I think that No Comment is the one that knocks the series out of the park I loved it so much.

No Comment is Tommy's story from the Capital Kingsmen series. Tommy wasn't very likeable in the previous books and I was curious to learn his backstory and get some insight on why behaves the way he does. I finished this book a few days ago but needed some time to process before writing my review.
At the start of this book, I (still) didn't like Tommy and his behavior and he didn't offer any reasons to change my mind. BUT, I knew Lisa Suzanne would ultimately weave a story that would change my opinion - and boy did she deliver!
We learn Tommy behaves the way he does because of loss - he lost his first and only true love Rachel and still hasn't gotten over her. Rachel and Tommy became friends in high school and then more years later. As his career took off, he made the decision to end their relationship, thinking he was doing the best for Rachel - not expecting her to either travel the world with his band or stay home and wait for them to come home from their latest tour. Eventually, Rachel becomes close with his brother and begins a relationship with him. When she learns she is pregnant, she marries his brother, despite Tommy's last minute effort to stop the wedding.
Fast forward four+ years later and they've had no contact - Rachel is still married to his brother, raising their child and Tommy is being a bit of a jerk and still ruffling feathers and getting into trouble. When his brother texts him that they will be visiting LA and would like to see him, it brings to the surface all the suppressed feelings he has been carrying around and finally starts to share with is bandmates about his feelings, his loss and how this upcoming visit from his brother, Rachel and their child is making him feel.
And once they arrive - things get very interesting! There is so much to unpack and deal with - so much history and relationships to try to repair: Tommy and his brother, Tommy with Rachel, Rachel and her husband, Tommy's new role as a "favorite uncle" and even how the band members, their significant others support Tommy (and, in turn, Rachel) whenever they are needed.
His story becomes their story and it's a roller coaster ride. Once you start reading, you will not be able to put it down. The connection between Tommy and Rachel is undeniable ....and how they find their way back to each other and work through all the baggage from the past and present is quite the accomplishment. And a fantastically sweet bonus epilogue that is not to be missed!

No Comment is the third book in Lisa Suzanne's incredible Capital Kingsmen series and is Tommy and Rachel's addictive story.
No Comment is a forbidden, second chance romance with all the feels which grips you from the very start.
If you've read the previous books in this series you'll have met Capital Kingsmen's lead singer Tommy and I don't know about everyone else but this is the book I've been impatiently waiting for! After reading No Comment you get to find out the reason Tommy acts the way he does, he's broken hearted and still hung up on the girl who stole his heart when he was seventeen and ended up destroying it and Tommy has spent the last decade doing anything he can to keep busy to keep his mind off of the one who got away and to numb his pain.
But now after four years of radio silence she's back in his life but things couldn't be more complicated, she's a Mom now, oh and she is also married to the wrong man...Tommy's brother!
As soon as Rachel walks through the door, all those feelings Tommy has been numbing himself from and trying desperately to ignore come flooding back and as they get to know each other and the people they are now, it becomes clear, that he never got over Rachel and he won't survive losing her for a second time but nothing can happen when she's married to another man, albeit the wrong man but he still can't go after someone else's girl even though she's meant to be with him.
But when Tommy finds out Rachel's not happy in her marriage, everything changes.
"You've always belonged with me, and it's time we make that right."
Can Rachel and Tommy make things work second time around? Especially when the reasons they broke up are still as big as an obstacle as they were back then? And will Tommy and Rachel be brave enough to risk being broken hearted all over again for a chance at something truly amazing?
Read No Comment now to find out!
I LOVED No Comment so much, I could not put it down and Tommy's book was so much more than I could have imagined! No Comment is the perfect example for why Lisa Suzanne will always be one of my favourite authors.
I received an arc of No Comment and I am voluntarily leaving my review.

Tommy and Rachel met at a young age, 17 and 15, they fell in love, but youth, and circumstances at that age left them both broken hearted when Tommy left to go on a road trip with his band!!
Tommy went on to achieve his dream of being a rock star and Rachel settled for the safe option, grew close to Tommy's brother and Married him. Now they are back in each others orbit and a twisted tale that hurts your heart strings and drags you through their pain and anguish begins !!
I was not sure what I was expecting from this book, but it was a whole lot more than i thought !!
Tommy wasn't my favourite CK member, yet once i learned how he lived through his pain I couldn't not fall for him!!!
Rachel, i have to admit made me want to shake her!
I am not a fan of triangles or cheating but .... this author draws you in both mentally and emotionally , and i found myself feeling for both these guys and Rachel I found myself torn into so many pieces, and i loved every moment of it !!! Rachel's marriage is failing, and once you know the back story, you know in your heart that it never really had a chance for either of them to find their forever with each other, but being back in Tommy's life has also made Rachel realise, that her life has never and will never be complete without Tommy. At this point I was just so torn, yet i was totally involved, I loved how their emotional journey made me both want to scream at them and hug them at the same time, Tommy just melted me, my heart broke for him, and Willow just owned me !!!
As i said at the start, i wasn't sure what to expect, but now i can say I freaking Loved it !!!!!

Tommy Stevenson is the last bachelor standing in the Capital Kingsmen group and oh man is his road to HEA quite the adventure!

4.5 stars

Tommy has not been one to be subtle about his dislike of all his bandmates falling in love and moving away from the party life they have shared. He can be abrasive and volatile but getting to finally peel back his protective layers and understand his pain and heartbreak that has haunted him for the last 10 years brings so much into perspective for the bad boy frontman of Capital Kingsmen.

Rachel Nash- the love of Tommy's life is married to none other than Tommy's brother, Eddie and they share a 3 year old daughter, Willow. So there is a bit of a crazy dynamic and love triangle that is taking place between the estranged brothers and Rachel. I am not a fan of cheating in storylines- and while there are some definite gray area situations that happen the way that Lisa unfolds the story those gray areas were done in a really tasteful manner that it didn't turn me off of their story.

No Comment really is just a fabulous read filled with SO much tension, humor, sweetness and absolutely heartbreaking moments. There are so many utterly sweet and romantic moments between Rachel and Tommy, but my heart glowed the most with the instantaneous bond between Tommy, the man that felt unsuitable to be around children, and Willow. The horrific turmoil that Tommy experiences in his lows made my heart weep for him. And while I had a hunch about the direction the story was heading- the journey to it was just so engaging that I loved every little twist and turn.

No Comment by Lisa Suzanne is a contemporary second-chance rockstar romance told in first person dual POV. Although it’s book three in the Capital Kingsmen series, it can be read as a standalone. It’s unnecessary to read No Commitment and No Chance first, but doing so enhances the experience as characters from those books appear in this one.

No Comment follows the relationship between rockstar Tommy Stevenson, frontman for Capital Kingsmen, and graphic designer Rachel Nash, his first-and-only love who is now his brother’s wife. What happened between Tommy and Rachel, and how did she end up married to his brother Eddie? And after years of no contact, what will happen when Eddie brings Rachel and Tommy back into each other’s orbit? Will they be able to resist their feelings and stay away from each other? Will they even want to?

I loved Tommy and Rachel’s story! After reading the previous books, I didn’t like Tommy very much, and I was looking forward to seeing how Lisa Suzanne would redeem him. I didn’t doubt she’d change my mind about the jerk, and once I got to know him, that’s exactly what happened. I love when an author can take a seemingly unlikable character and make me love them. Couple that with the forbidden element and potential for cheating that comes with Tommy being in love with his brother’s wife, and with Rachel never getting over him, and I was HOOKED! No Comment is a fun and fantastic addition to the Capital Kingsmen series.

Are you looking for the perfect summer read? Look no further, this book is for you. Start your summer off with a bang. This is the third book in the Capitol Kingsman Rockstar Series. Tommy and Rachael first met when they were in highs school. He was seventeen to her fifteen. She helped him focus and graduate. She was the pretty girl that kept Haribo Goldbears in her backpack. She was sweet and young with Tommy teaching her about life and love. He formed a band and became famous. Tommy was scared and broke up with Rachael before their first tour, breaking Rachael’s heart.
Rachael needed consoling and turned to Tommy’s brother, Eddie, who offered comfort and affection. Tommy still measures every groupie and hanger-on to Rachael and regrets that he let the best thing in his life slip away. He even goes to her on her wedding day to tell her she is marrying the wrong Stevenson. Rachael tells him that she is pregnant, it’s Eddie’s and she wants to do the right thing.
Flash forward four years…things are not going well in Rachael and Eddie’s married life. They do have a beautiful and bright daughter named Willow. They are traveling from Seattle to L.A., Eddie has a job interview for a new position. Eddie plans to meet up with Tommy when they are there. And they stay with Tommy and it all goes awry.
This book will keep you reading long past your bedtime. It will be the best book hangover. You will want to shake some sense into Tommy. Then have Rachael make a decision. Will they, or won’t they? Can a new beginning erase past heartache? I loved it, grab it and start reading. Psst… the first two books in the series are just as amazing..it will be a summer treat.

No Comment by Lisa Suzanne is a rock star romance with a married woman/second chance love story. This is my first book by Lisa Suzanne. I was one of the lucky ones to receive an ARC.

I enjoyed reading this story about rock star, Tommy, his first love, Rachel and his brother, Eddie. Tommy and Rachel were best friends as teenagers that developed into a lot of firsts, including first loves.

Tommy's fortune was looking up as his band started a rise in fame. He made a decision to let Rachel go believing that he couldn't give her the life she deserved.

With her heartbreak and anguish, she turned to Tommy's brother, Eddie for comfort and resulted in a marriage and a daughter.

After 4 years of silence between the three, a job opportunity for Eddie brings them all back together. Old feelings long thought gone, were reignited between Tommy and Rachel. Tommy's bad boy reputation doesn't earn him extra points and Eddie and Rachel's marriage hanging in the balance.

What does their future entail?

It would be easier if there wasn't a child involved. It would have been easier had Rachel not married his brother. It would be easier if Tommy didn't have his vices. It would be easier if Eddie wasn't so competitive with Tommy.

But life isn't easy. Mistakes are made. Regrets are plenty. Unspoken words hanging in the air. What future lies for the four... father.... mother.... uncle.... daughter?

No Comment by Lisa Suzanne is a story of regrets, missed opportunities, mistakes, self growth, strength and a love that just can't be denied.

I have been anxiously waiting for the next installment of the Capital Kingsmen series. I have loved every book so far in the series and No Commitment did not disappoint.
Tommy Stevenson is the ultimate bad boy front man of the Capital Kingsmen. He lives the rock and roll lifestyle with booze, drugs and women he uses and tosses aside all because he can't seem to get over the only woman he has ever loved.
Rachel Nash met Tommy when he was 17, she 15. He said he needed help with math. Yeah, right. Their friendship grew and they fell in love but then he screwed up and she married...his brother. Let's throw in a 3-year old daughter for extra drama. Willow is precious and immediately loves her Uncle Tommy. They are so much alike. Makes you wonder...
True to Lisa Suzanne's style, this book has its share of trauma and drama. It will make you laugh, cry, move to the edge of your seat and smile. You get engaged with the characters and if like me you will read it in one sitting. Laundry can wait for another day.
When Tommy and Rachel finally get together, it is pure magic. Tommy has never felt this way before. Rachel is so good for him.
Lisa Suzanne is my favorite author of rock stories. I loved this book and the epilogue was so good my eyes teared up. The "7 years later" was wonderfully written and the last line of the epilogue - perfection. I cracked a big smile over that one line. Bravo for another fantastic book! Well done!

Tommy Stevenson thought he was doing the right thing when he let the girl he loved (Rachel) go as he was about to go on tour for the first time, but all he succeeded in doing was breaking both her heart and his and pushing her into the arms of his despised older brother (Eddie). No Comment finds Tommy, Rachel, Eddie, and Willow - who is the three year-old daughter of Rachel and Eddie (well, we start getting "is she or isn't she" thoughts relatively early on) - reunited at Tommy's house, and a few things are pretty clear: (1) Rachel is justifiably unhappy in her marriage to Eddie, (2) Eddie arguably has been more in love with the idea of taking Tommy's girl than with Rachel herself, and (3) the love between Rachel and Tommy has never died. From there, we watch how a haunted Tommy struggles with his demons as well as his feelings for Rachel - and how all that both pulls her back in and pushes her away. Although the novel is clearly a love story (I mean, it's Lisa Suzanne!), it's arguably just as much a story of Tommy's journey to finding himself and accepting himself as someone who is worthy of both Rachel's and Willow's love. As is always true with Lisa's novels, it definitely has its "Okay, Joan Wilder (or Lisa Suzanne), write us out of this one!" moments because we know that the HEA is coming but have no clue how she's going to get us there. . . but she does, and (as always) she makes us glad we've gone through the angsty moments because it makes that HEA even sweeter.

4.5 rockin' stars!

I love a good rockstar romance, and Lisa Suzanne is the queen of them! This is the third installment of the Capital Kingsmen series, and I'm so happy to dive back into this world because I've been eagerly awaiting Tommy's book!

Tommy is a lot to unpack. As the lead singer and front man of the Capital Kingsmen, he had a lot of swagger and a lot of attention from the ladies. But who knew that hidden within Tommy was so much more? He is carrying so much loss and regret which he keeps very hidden beneath the surface.

Enter Rachel. Tommy's sister-in-law. And ex-boyfriend. And first love. And the first one to break her heart. However, marrying his brother? Yikes. Who told her that was a good idea? This book will take you on so many ups and downs, with lots of drama to unpack. Tommy and Rachel are forced to be in the same space, and with that comes feelings each of them have tried to keep buried. Can they find their way back to each other? Should they? Are they truly meant to be?

I will say for those who seriously don't like it, there is a lot of cheating in this book. It's not always my favorite thing either (leave someone - no need to cheat!), but it was pivotal to their story.

As always, YMMV, but I would recommend this book - go dive back into the Capital Kingsmen!

Capital Kingsman #3

5 stars--I wish I could give it more!

Tommy and Rachel were friends in high school and she's what got him through it. She finally tells him she loves him but he ends up signing a contract with his band to go on tour and leaves her.
When he last saw Rachel she was getting ready to marry his brother and he tried to stop her but failed. Now four years have passed and she has a little girl, 3 yrs old and he has gone on to great success with his band. They live in Seattle and he in LA and they haven't talked since the day in the church. That changes when he finds out they are coming out to LA and would like to see him. NO or rather No comment! But he changes his mind and offers them to stay at his house and life changes from that point.
What follows is such an emotional roller coaster for all of them. They both still love each other but she's married and has a kid and she is his one regret and man does that haunt him.

This story will have you crying and your heart pounding and just wanting to scream. As usual Ms. Suzanne will have you sucked in from the very beginning. You think you know what things are and then she throws her twist in. Buckle up!

Until No Comment, I had only read Lisa Suzanne's sports series. And I just love them. They are engaging and full of plot twists. But this rockstar romance took her writing to a different level. The story is addictive and engaging right from the first couple of pages.

Capital Kingsmen's lead singer Tommy Stevenson is the black sheep of the band. He is driven and would do anything for their music, but he is also impulsive and the eternal bachelor. While the rest of the band members have settled down and are focusing on their families, he still enjoys one-night stands, drinking, and doing drugs. Tommy says he is where he wants to be until his brother calls him and says he will be visiting with his wife and daughter. Just thinking about Rachel, his brother's wife, has him on edge.

Tommy and Rachel used to date. He gave her many firsts, but he also broke her heart. She is the one who got away. And Rachel is a nervous wreck at the prospect of seeing Tommy again. The past torments her. They never stopped loving each other, but now they live very different lives. Two soulmates who can't seem to find their way. Can they spend a week in the same place without getting hurt and letting old feelings resurface?

No Comment is full of angst and raw emotion. A phenomenal read!

Angsty Perfection

No Comment is the third book in the Capital Kingsmen Series. Lead singer, Tommy Stevenson, was an up and coming rockstar when he left the only girl he ever loved.
Tommy grew up without any true guidance on what love really was. At least this was his perception of his childhood. To him love was a myth. After his parents divorce, he lived with his father, whom he perceived more as a friend than father figure and had nothing to do with his mother. Then he met Rachel. Tommy and Rachel had an instant friendship starting in high school. They were best friends until he left her heartbroken. Then she married someone else.
Rachel grew up in a traditional family in which you stayed married no matter what. She is not happy in her marriage but stays for the sake of her daughter and fear of disappointing her parents.
No Comment is full of internal conflicts, family strife, self-destructing behaviors, a brotherhood (band mates) that stand by you unconditionally, a lifelong connection, and a paternity surprise that makes for the perfect angsty second chance romance. A definite must read.
I received an advance copy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine and were not influenced by the author or her promotional team.
