I really enjoyed reading this book, written from the perspective of two talking cats, BMC (Big Maine Coon) and Echo. BMC lives in luxury with his human Gertrude. But when Gertrude dies, her conniving son, Reginald, doesn’t get the inheritance he thinks he deserves, which sets in motion quite an adventure for BMC. RegaDope, as BMC calls him, decides to kidnap BMC to ransom him for the inheritance. But BMC escapes, meets Echo, and thing get pretty crazy from that point on! Echo’s human and her friend, are also kidnapped to obtain a magical amulet. So, it’s Echo and BMC to the rescue! A fun cozy! I received a free copy of this book from the author and write this review voluntarily.

Lucia Kuhl is a fabulous writer of cozey witchy and para mystery with murder and mayhem as with this new series. The characters are vibrant, colorful and quirky and a few friendly cats and dogs drawing you in with their mystique and charm and strengths. On the other side are the schemers that bring the mystery to life enticing you further with their ill deads. While the plot carries you throughout with more mischief keeping you entranced wanting to turn page after page until you reach its unexpected and climatic conclusion. Will it end with ill gotten gains or will good intentions. Acquire " Catnaps &Conspiracies " today so you yourself can enjoy it as much as I have. Kat

This is one of the most unique cozies I have ever read. This mystery contains murder, kidnapping, crime solving all by BMC a Big Maine Coon cat and his newly found buddy Echo. BMC can talk! And he is the lead character in this prequel. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait for more. With BMC's human leaving him the estate and his human's son being jealous, we are treated to kidnapping, escape and the meeting of his new adventure pal, Echo. This is a short, fast paced prequel that makes you want more. I love this angle with the cats as main characters. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Well, talking cats & dogs that help them when needed. A very interesting book that got me hooked almost immediately. A dastardly catnapping plan & a double kidnapping as well. Family get togethers to bring it to a happy ending, mostly!

BMC is living the life any cat would want. He did not know that his visions would take him on an incredible and dangerous adventure with lots of surprises. If you like stories with cats as the center of the story then this one is the one. Fun and quick read.

The story started with just the owner being able to talk with BMC but it changed and became very supernatural.

I've never heard of anyone getting covid that gross way.

Great cat mystery!

Loved this mystery!! It had adventure and tons of twists and turns! I really liked the characters. I cannot wait to read more adventures.
