Layla has been taken her off the case due to being stalked but is still working on leads from the sidelines.
She finally opens up to Austin about her past and why she has been living a life of regret for the things she’s done. Austin is determined to keep Layla and Faith safe especially now that they know the vampire who killed Faith wants her back.
Time is of the essence. Layla receives another note and this time the person pulling the strings is looking for a trade. One life for another one. With another life hanging in the balance Layla is faced with a difficult decision.

Layla is working hard on who miight be the killer of young women. This must stop.They receive strange notes and are trying to find from who it is. Someone wants Faith, and if they do not give her, more victims will follow.
Austin and Layla are getting a closer bond with each other. They tell each other how they got turned. Nobody else knows this, but for the first time they tell their secret to each other. Layla does not know in fact who turned her, she woke up when it was happened. But still, she is quickly afraid. As Austin loves her very much, he is very protective for her. He'll do anything to give her a safe feeling.
Still the investigation goes on, and they try hard to find the murderer... Would it be someone we expect it to be? Or not? Or is it more complicated like that? In the next book will have to find out.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "DARK SURRENDER
Another interesting, intriguing, suspense fill drama, danger, twists a page turner for sure.
Layla is still trying up to find the one who is killing women they have to be stopped, she receives more notes someone wants Faith, when she starts being stalked herself she gets taken off the case.
Austin & Layla are getting closer with each other both have secrets they've been keeping opening up & telling each other he'll do anything to keep her safe.
I definitely recommend to get this series you won't be disappointed so well worth the read things get dicey because the Vampire that killed Faith wants her back can Austin keep both Layla & Faith safe.
I'm so looking forward to the next book in this series to see how everything will come up light & see how it all turns out in "DARK WHISPERS".

I’m a bit shocked really that I got so engrossed in this book that I forgot to eat and finished the book in one go. I really loved finding out what made Layla so cautious and Austin so insistent due to things that happened in the past. The book finished far too soon for me but I am chomping at the bit for the final book. I find I am sitting here wondering how it will finish and how Faith, Jill and Ellis cope. I hope the book comes out soon. I received this book as an ARC and give my review willingly.

Layla is starting to open up and feeling with Austin. Can she just let him love her? Notes are coming, from who, well a couple options, and I have a feeling that we aren’t going to like who they are. Faith is starting to become adjusted as a vampire and has found a ‘family’, will that go all away?
It’s time for Austin and Layla to learn more about each other and see where it all goes. Will this case ever be solved? Will they stop who is killing these girls? What is related and what isn’t?

Layla and Austin have finally started breaking down their walls and letting each other in. Austin knows that he loves Layla and he is not letting her go. But, the dark forces that left Faith for dead are plotting and now things are turning dark fast. With an ultimatiumum and time running out, Layla must think fast.

Another great addition to the series! The author once again brings strong characters in Layla and Austin. She brings mystery and intrigue as the investigation continues. It's a dark read, is well written, moves quickly and smoothly and has me looking forward to the next book.

This series is a must read because it’s fantastic. I’m hooked on this series and can’t wait to read what happens next. Layla has some great adventures and then some 🥵. ❤️❤️📚👍

This was such a great read but beware of the cliffhanger at the end! I cannot wait to read more by this author immediately. This series is addictive and I finish each book in a single sitting each time. Definitely a must read!
