He's a military child, his dad is a general in the Army. Due to the fact that he's constantly switching schools, Boone is getting used to being the new kid. He used to think that football was his purpose, but when he meets Fern, he finds a whole new purpose in her. This book was absolutely amazing! I'm a fan of young love stories and this one is probably my favorite one that I've read in a long time! I love that this is a story about the popular guy falling for the outcast. I grew up in a school where the popular kids didn't want to be associated with the outcasts because it would jeopardize their reputation. I was that kid that not even the outcasts wanted to be associated with, so I resonated with Fern greatly. Fern's character made me feel less alone and she's my new book bestie! Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
