Just in case you thought this was going to be a typical romance, Sloane Spadowski once again shows us just how broken she is. The typical "bad girl" with good intentions, she begins a torrid affair with her boss (nothing could go wrong there, right?). He's basically perfect.... by everyone else's standards. It becomes apparent that he doesn't "get" Sloane, despite the fact that she's the embodiment of all his sexual fantasies. Meanwhile, his best friend, an incurable player, meets Sloane and decides to conduct an ongoing "interview" to find out what type of person she is. As their friendship develops, both begin to test the limits of how far their flirtation can go. When you have a choice between the perfect guy and the guy who's perfect for you, who do you choose? Or do you choose not to choose....
As with the first book, I would definitely classify this as a "sexy rom-com". If you like the show "You're the Worst", or enjoy movies with Kate Hudson or Katherine Heigl, you'll love this series. The entire book is told from Sloane's perspective, with a bit of a break of the fourth wall. She's telling her story directly to you, and it's quite a blast. There's a lot of teasing, and some descriptive R-rated scenes, but I wouldn't classify this as erotica. It's definitely well written, and doesn't feel like the typical cliche romantic terminology. The story is compelling, and once I began I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to see what happens in book 3!

This book was Amazing and the ending has me Blown Away! Waiting for book three might just be torture, but I know without a doubt that it will be worth it!!! I do not want to give spoilers, but I have to say that Every Woman deserves a Barbie! Sloane is just one of a kind and this is a book that I needed! I Loved It!!!

Brilliant the best story and lots of hot scenes. barbie is the best chartecter in this book a must read. A lot of people don't like the way Sloane is but I really like her there is alot of things about her life style that I admire.

The second in the Sloan Spadowski series is funny, sad and a great read. Find out what happens between Andy and Sloan. You won't be disappointed.

I don't have to wait long right?
I love this quirky series so far. I'm going to write this review without any spoilers, because they suck lol! Sloane picks up right where she left off...crazy and a bit horny ;) There is a bit of a cliffhanger and HEA is not happening ...yet?!? But let that stop you from picking up this book. This book is funny, honest, a bit raw at times completely enjoyable.

I haven't read a series that revolved around one central character and left me with cliffhangers at the end of each book in a long time, and I'm loving every moment of it!
Sloane Spadowski is just plain fun to read and if you don't at least crack a smile after reading chapter 11 which delves into the glorious topic of "what to expect during a Brazilian waxing", then this book just isn't for you. I had to clear my eyes from the tears of laughter just so I could continue reading. Seriously good stuff.
Book #2, Slip Sinker, delves into the insecurities Sloane faces with dating her boss. Sure she enjoys Andy, but she certainly doesn't think of him in a long term relationship way. She doesn't think of anyone that way. That is why she loves being a temp. Temp job, temp relationships, no strings, but the longer time passes, the bigger the hole gets that she keeps digging for herself. Andy is a great guy, something must be wrong.
Sloane doubts everything and turns to the one person who just might let her off the hook, Barbie, his best friend.
Sloane creates quite a mess of things and suddenly she's caught in her own net. Tempted at every turn. What is she going to do?
I can't wait to find out in book #3

Slip Sinker by Emigh Cannaday is the second book in the Sloane Spadowski series, and follows directly on from Jerk Bait.
Sloane, a hilarious office temp with a major thing for corsets and sexy men, finally meets the wild best friend of her boss, and Barbie is definately not what she had been expecting after Andy described his bestie as having supermodel good looks and always being the life of the party.
Things seriously heat up in this book, but honestly, I can't imagine a character like Sloane not having these sorts of experiences. After all, she's a woman who knows what she wants and how to get it!
I will say that the last scene in this book absolutely broke my heart, so I'm very interested to see what happens in the third and final book, and I'm hoping for a resolution that includes my two new favourites.

Sloane Spadowski has bitten off way more than she can chew when it comes to her boss Andy. And the more involved she becomes with Andy and his family and friends the harder that big bite gets to chew.
Sexy, hilarious, awkward, and imperfectly perfect this book starts off with a playful spark but ends up an uncontrolled wildfire.
(Which happens to bring a fireman that makes Jack a happy fella.) Anyways, emotions were all over the place but it was a Hell of a lot of fun and I can honestly say I have never wanted a Barbie so badly in my entire life. I read a lot of steamy books but it has been a long time since one has left me as flustered as the end of this one did. And I am definitely not going to be able to get my hands on the next book fast enough.
I guess you could say I'm "Hooked" by this Slip Sinker and in my opinion it is absolutely recommended.

Here's the deal, this book was soooo good that I skipped adulting today to see what happens next! I'm off to nread book 3 which is already downloaded! Read this series!
