I love Sailor Moon, it was one of my first introductions into anime and manga. So, when I heard a fan had compiled a book on it, I was intrigued. Learning it was done through kickstarter made me even more interested.

Unfortunately, there’s really nothing here. We’re given an episode guide for the first season, with tidbits of trivia sprinkled throughout, an interview, and some scans of character outfit models. That’s really about it.

For what was promised, I was expecting much more,—cultural information, behind the scenes on the production, taking into account the worldwide phenomenon it became—but we unfortunately, get none of that.

The info given here is good but it’s not the fan guide promised. Quite frankly, seek out some of fan sites still in existence and you’ll get more bang for your buck.
