In a universe of chaos, a woman freed from captivity has a ripple of impact unlike any other.
Liora Day, half-human, half-mess with her and you’ll die Damaclan, had been thrown onto a rough path at a very early age. But when she is broken out of a cage by Devren, the young captain of the SS Kratos, she is shown that perhaps humanity does have a heart.
The Kratos is set on a mission to rescue fallen surveyors from the Revolutionaries, and Liora is given the choice to follow her Damaclan instincts, or trust Devren’s dark eyes and captivating smile that promise an adventure unlike any she has ever experienced.
This is the complete Girl from the Stars Series!

Fans of Dune, Firefly, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Craig Martelle’s amazing space adventures are loving these books! If you are a fan of fast-paced sci-fi action/adventures, then this series is sure to please.
Cheree Alsop is an award-winning, best-selling author and the mother of a beautiful, talented daughter and amazing twin sons who fill every day with joy and laughter. She is married to her best friend, Michael, the light of her life and her soulmate who shares her dreams and inspires her by reading the first drafts of each book. Cheree is a fulltime author and mother, which is much more fun than work! She enjoys reading, riding her motorcycle on warm nights, and playing with her twins while planning her next book. She is also a bass player for their rock band, Alien Landslide.
Cheree and Michael live in Utah where they rock out, enjoy the outdoors, plan great adventures, and never stop dreaming.
I enjoyed the first book and had high hopes for the rest of the series, but too many unnecessary and irrelevant fillers were inserted between all the action in the story, presumably to extend the series out to 5 novels instead of shorter stories. This tended to slow the story down, a story that should have kept the tension going throughout. The dialogue could have been improved too. It could have been a much better series.
Some of the situations stretched the believability factor a bit as well.
Still, it was a reasonable read for those who enjoy space opera on the verge of fantasy.
The action never stops and I was compelled to keep reading although it was pretty hard to believe the heroine could possibly survive through it all. By the 3rd book I was pretty gobsmacked that the author expected readers to keep believing she could. Fortunately there is an explanation which includes a plot twist so I forgave her.
The books are pure entertainment with a lot of heart. I'm glad I read them.
While the ending (like most) is finished a little to quickly, the rest of the story is nothing but non-stop action, twists and turns, and emotional roller coasters. Yes, the main character is a little over powered but she gets there through a story that had me rooting for her the entire way.
I loved this series! You want action/blood/powers this is a good read for you! Aliens galore and different worlds amazing details! Got lucky got it for free! Sad it ended! Will find the next Cheree Alsop book! I loved the ending!
