Book 2 joins just after Alex spends the evening with all of the boys. Never knowing who was her first. She’s torn between learning the game which is her birthright, becoming the predator and not the prey, and wanting to leave it all behind to run away. After the first encounter with the boys, Alex finds that she craves moments with the boys. She finds a connection with them all In one way or another, but she grows closer to Lev. She eventually realizes she’s in love with him. Her relationship with Soren and Tomas aren’t clear. She craves them in the moment, she uses them as she needs. They want to marry her to solidify their family’s future. Parker and Alex have a very different relationship. He thinks he hates her, and doesn’t understand his reaction to her. She won’t allow him to fully dominate her in the ways he has dominated others in the past. She hates him, but can’t control the way her body wants him. A truly powerful couple of they can finally make it down the isle like Parker so desperately wants. Alex wants to avenge her father and Lev and is in no hurry to marry Parker or any of the boys. The enemy is the Parisian, but it’s unclear who else can be trusted. Book 2 is full of drama, it’s dark and sexy as hell.

Alex's (FMC) World gets way more dangerous & complicated in the 2nd book in this series. Family and friends all have differing agendas, deep seated secrets and long held hatred of each other. Which slowly came to light as the book progressed. Death, murder and a shady, underhand man who is threatening all of them all keeps you on your toes as well as second guessing everything. I'm still trying to work out whose behind it all and what will happen next? Oh and that ending was just killer!! I'm looking forward to the last book now. This series is so flaming good

Alex and her guys go through so much in this one… Things will never be the same. They have changed, and not necessarily for the better. Lev is an angel, Alex has hardened, Tommy is going back on his promises, Parker is being controlling, and Soren seems to be trying to hold it together. Meanwhile, someone is pulling strings behind the scenes, and if the group doesn’t get a handle on their enemies soon, it may not matter anymore.

Errrrr... What? I'm pretty confused right now. Don't get me wrong, this book got me hooked, but there are some time gaps that are like a page that was torn and lost and I never got to read it. Alexandra is slowly losing herself and don't even get me to talk about Lev. You're evil, Nora, and you know it. The boys are going crazy and the only one who won anything was Alexandra, but she is getting even deeper into what seems to be a trap. I neeeed book 3!

Just. ….. Wow……
This book - Holy cow! So much deceit and deception, you simply have no idea who to trust! Alex has grown so much in the series so far, it’s awful to see her treated the way she is at times, but she always gets up and keeps going! Gotta love her strength! Will be counting down the days until part 3 comes out! What is the deal with Amos!? Can’t wait to figure it out!

I love the way this book is written. It will draw you in and hold you hostige. Be warned it is dark and the triggers almost got to me but it is fantastic the cliffhanger makes you need the next book.

Alex’s journey is dark and devious and told so well. I am eagerly waiting for book 3 to see who the Persian is and how Alex moves forward.

Decent continuation but still really pissed Lev was killed off. Almost stopped reading after that
