The Kiss Code is fun story that will steal your heart away. I love the fierceness of the characters and the strength they showed.
There were two sides of Harmony, the one the town thought and saw and the one was the truth. To the town she was lazy with no ambition, just doing what she could at the family business. When people did not realize is that she developed coding and apps, but that part of her life she kept to herself. That was until Nolan.
Nolan is a well-known tattoo artist now that he had won awards. While at a conference he met Harmony, who was at her own conference, and had a weekend he could not forget. So much so, Nolan tracked her down and exposed her secret.
This is lighthearted story that just was a delight to read and would make you smile.

The Kiss Code: A Man of the Month Club Novella by Layne Daniels is part of the multi-author Sycamore Mountain series. Harmony Hammond inherited and runs the Hammond Distillery on Sycamore Mountain. She likes to keep her private life private so that means she finds her "fun" in other places than the small town she calls home. But when one of those "fun" men, Nolan Michaels, follows her back to the mountain her life is about to get a whole lot more complicated. But maybe if she just goes with it she will find the best of both worlds all wrapped into one.
I really loved this story as it is a wonderful mix of humor, family, secrets, smexy fun, and some drama. The story is well plotted, the characters are nicely written with depth and attitude, and the attraction is burning hot.

My new book boyfriend is Nolan and I couldn’t get enough of him! He’s incredibly passionate and when he knew that Harmony was his soulmate he didn’t hesitate to move heaven and earth to be near her. It’s more than the scorching hot steam between them, his soul recognized hers as his other half. I loved Harmony as his other half. She’s a tech genius but doesn’t let anyone know because of the exterior role she’s always portrayed. Nolan sees her for who she really is which I adored. I also really loved the town and how it played its part in pulling these two together and building their forever. This book in all its steamy goodness needs to be your next read!

Nolan is a tattoo artist and has moved to town to find Harmony and make her his. They met when they were in Vegas and had an instant connection. However, she disappeared on him. Now that they are in the same place, he is using the town gossip to get to her. Harmony didn't want anyone knowing about her side business and when Nolen shows up, he announces it to the town gossip. Its not long before everyone has their nose in her business. Will Nolan finally convince her to take a chance on him?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. This is a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I really enjoyed Harmony and Nolan's story. They couldn't be more opposite from one another, yet the attraction is so strong. They meet in Vegas where both are at a convention. Harmony is heir to her family's whisky making business but her father never thought it should pass down to her. She has her own passion that no one in her small town knows about and she wants to keep it that way. Nolan is a well respected tattoo artist who has up to a year long waiting list. They share one night together and exchange numbers. Unfortunately, Harmony has no intention of keeping in contact with Nolan. Months later Nolan shows up in Harmony's home town. He is positive Harmony and he are meant to be. He opens up a studio there and begins to persuade Harmony about how they are destined to be together. This was a fun read and it had a few interesting character like the town gossip Nolan meets on his first day who spreads the word about his feelings for Harmony and her well guarded secret about what she does for a living. This was an entertaining read with a great HEA.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This book in the Man Of The Month Club series is about Harmony and Nolan. She chooses to be a private person around her home town. She never imagined that a trip to Vegas would turn her world upside down. Nolan knows that he needs Harmony in his life and will do what he can to make that happen. Their story goes from lovers to where she wants to be enemies and right back to lovers. I enjoyed the storyline with its humor and heat. It is super short but makes you smile and wish for more.

Harmony and Nolan meet at a Las Vegas convention and it’s love at first sight. After the best weekend of their lives Harmony ghosts Nolan. Nolan is not giving up his soulmate and 3 months later moves his whole life to Sycamore Mountain. When he inadvertently tells the town gossip about Harmony’s secret life (he didn’t know it was a secret) he has to work so much harder to prove to her she is his forever. Beautiful, steamy romance with amazing chemistry and a wonderful HEA. Loved this so much! Really great read.

This is book 7 in The MAN OF THE MONTH CLUB. This is the story of Harmony Hammond and Nolan Michaels. Well if that doesn't tell little miss hide in plan site Harmony that Nolan is all in than I do not know what will. I loved the little old lady Nolan first meets when he moves to Sycamore Mountain, North Carolina. She is just something else. I loved how mad Harmony gets because of that first meeting with the one lady gossip comity.

This is one of those reads that’s sucks you in so fast that it’s over in the blink of an eye. I love these brief novellas but some characters, such as these two, I wish I could spend more time with. A super yummy tattoo artist with some delicious piercings and an all-consuming need to find the woman who stole his heart. And let’s not forget the woman who pretty much leads a secret life that nobody else knows about except afore-mentioned yumminess. LOVED THIS STORY!!!!.

Harmony moved to small town Sycamore Mountain and after returning from a Vegas trip she finds out about small town gossip. Harmony and Nolan had a one night stand in Vegas and now she's found out Nolan has moved to Sycamore Mountain to win her heart. This is a fast paced, short story with likable characters, steam, secrets, and a great ending. The Kiss Code is part of the multi-author Sycamore Mountain series and I look forward to reading the rest of the books. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Nolan and Harmony and does not let go. Harmony has kept her personal business a secret from the people of her small town. However, when Nolan arrives and not only states that he is in town to win the heart of Harmony but also reveals her secrets, Harmony must decide whether to ignore him or forgive him.

I was so excited for this story. After reading about Ry and Magnolia I was hoping Harmony would get a book. Boy did she. And it came with Nolan, a hot tattoo artist. I loved this storyline and the characters. They thought it was a weekend hookup. Turns out it was so much more. A quick and easy read. I would definitely recommend this book!.

“A Gentleman and a Deviant” meets His Match in a Beauty Hiding Her Brains
This novella is equal parts sweet and filthy, with some small town fun thrown in. Harmony has a “secret life” outside the small town of Sycamore Mountain - but one of her secrets has followed her home. It’s not nearly as nefarious as it sounds - Nolan Michaels is a holiday fling who becomes so much more. I loved the fight and fire between these two, plus their bedroom banter is wonderfully filthy. A great quick read!

These characters are wonderful! I completely enjoyed reading this book. Harmony and Nolan are opposites in some ways. Harmony enjoys her privacy. Nolan wants more than a cross-country one night stand and is not afraid to fight for it! Everyone in town is now talking about them and that is the last thing that she wants. But, what will she do about it?.

Sweet, Sassy and Steamy
Exactly what I expect when I pick up a Layne Daniels book: a strong sassy FMC who holds her own in the world....and the lucky hunk of a MMC who get the honor of being her forever guy.
I love that Nolan did the chasing and the professions of feels first....nice change of pace from many romance reads I've enjoyed.
I also love that Layne adds some humor in the form of older side characters in her books on the regular...gotta have that comic relief.

So great to read the follow up and find out more about Harmony. I'm so glad that she got her HEA because the way she was treated was really rough. Loved how Nolan moved for her and fought for her and showed that she was first for him. Great book!.

Holy wow! Everyone should have a Nolan in their lives. He uprooted his entire world to prove to Harmony that she was meant to be his. Talk about SWOON! Harmony was totally private and didn't want the world to know her "secrets" but Nolan was determined to make her his. Just wow. Highly recommend this one!.

Wow! This one packed a punch and lots of heat in its shortness! I love when an author can take me through all the feels and make me blush in only 10 chapters! She crafted two beautiful characters and tackled one heart wrenching dilemma in Nolan and Harmony’s HEA!.

Nolan follows Harmony home after a Vegas fling. Harmony has let the town think she's an air head only good for errands and grunt work. He meets the town gossip and gets tongues wagging when he dishes her big secret tech side. At first she tries to avoid Nolan but chemistry wins out! Theses two are like magnets! Really enjoyed this quick read. Nolan and Harmony are a match made in book heaven. I though, kinda wish her brother Ryland and her family relationship could have been worked through.. But at least Nolan & Harmony got their HEA.

This was a fun flirty story between two people who were meant to be together. Harmony and Nolan met in Vegas at a convention and when she ghosted him he did everything to be with her again. Harmony was surprised when her two worlds collided but soon realized that Nolan would follow her wherever she went. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Woah... This was cute and surprisingly sexy. I really loved the dichotomy of Nolan, nerdy and naughty. It was cool to catch up with Harmony Hammond and I loved the gossip 😂
