She’s worried that with all this pressure, her cauldron might just boil over.
Rosemary Bell, witch extraordinaire, has finally claimed her seat on the Council of Witches. Her family is settled, her friends are thriving, and together with adorable Rue the giant Great Dane puppy life is all set to be one boo-tiful experience. But when her ancient malevolent nemesis is hellbent on destruction, Rosie needs to gather her chosen coven once more.
It’s clear Morgana doesn’t intend to wither away like the rest of the pumpkin vines in the patch after another successful Halloween. Reports of wizard activity across the world have the Council of Witches scrambling into action, and Rosie knows that a final showdown is brewing on the horizon.
The wizards are closing in on Mosswood, her best friends let it slip they’re expecting the pitter patter of little feet, and Rosie is going stork raving mad with her own powers acting weird. Can Rosie and the gang stop the wizard invasion before it's too late?
Halloweentown meets Bridget Jones’ Baby in this courageous tale about family values, the importance of where you come from, and the little (and big!) surprises life has in store.
Back in Mosswood with Rosie, Declan and the gang. Another wonderful story from Louisa West although the title and the cover gave away something brewing in Mosswood. I was a little confused with the beginning of the book when Bunny showed up with Ben to Rosie's for a get together and then Bunny was gone. I expected to see more of Bunny in the book but only one mention of her after the beginning. Rosie, Declan and the gang have their hands full with all the things going on in Mosswood. Plants growing rapidly, Rosie taking her rightful place on the board of COW, having a Wizard problem, and finally putting the thorn in Rosie's side to rest. Some past characters from previous books show up to help Rosie fight the Wizards. All in all it was a wonderful story and a great addition to Midlife in Mosswood series. I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you like paranormal witch stories I highly recommend this series.
This series has captured my heart. Rosie and gang face more trials and tribulations with this installment. I loved the prologue which is opening up the door to Bunny's story (My Celestial Midlife series) hopefully being a crossover. Back to the story, it is definitely a page turner. If you have read the series up til now, you probably have characters you love and hate. Prissy shows her true colors, Morgana is back, and we get to learn more of Rosie's ancestry. Maggie and Gabe are becoming more mature surrounded by love and nurturing. They both start taking on more responsibilities. I won't give too much away, but I loved the ending! I can't wait until the next one comes out!! Highly recommend!!
This book begins with a cross-over to Bunny's series as Rosie and Bunny confess to each other their powers. Strange happenings are occurring in Mosswood. Plants are growing enormously and all are alert for Wizards. I love this community in these cozy stories of Mosswood. Rosie, Declan, friends and family are like friends and family to me. Each book brings Rosie closer to her ancestors and enlightens her to her powers. With a surprise ending, this book is adding to the treasure trove of favorites in this series. I look forward to each new book. I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntary opinion.
Rosie, Declan and the crew are back and trying to figure out what the heck is going on in Mosswood. Gear up for lots of hijinx, mystery, family, love, magic and a familiar vampire 😉❤. The past rears her oh so ugly mug- with a friend or two....and our crack crew are on the case. However there are also blessings scattered among these wonderful pages. I love visiting this spirited town filled with colorful characters. This reader couldn't get enough, and is greatly looking forward to the next chapter of this series! Get ready for one wild and crazy adventure...per usual 😉. Two enthusiastic thumbs up indeed.
It is always great fun going back to Mosswood!! Fall is in the air, and as the new year is upon the witches, there are lots of things happening!
Rosie and Declan are ready to take their places on the Council- and with that comes the opportunity for Rosie to learn more about her family.
It is also time for some comeuppance for a number of those that have hurt Rosie and her friends and family! Love seeing the uneasy alliances that evolve- but in a great way!!
The ending is also just enough to leave you begging for more!!
As usual, Louisa West has penned an enjoyable and quick read that keeps you engrossed throughout and leaves you ready for the next installment!
Rosie and the crew, are just getting used to two of them being member of the COW when as Sherlock would said, “A game is a foot.” The enemy is not playing fair and nothing is what it seems. Can they defeat it? Can the good news, help? Read on and be ready to go to book 11 pronto.
There is something off putting since the book with Nick, Rosie suddenly has a tendency to use profanity as a course of language even when is not needed. I wonder why there was a change to the character. I still love the books and the stories, is just peculiar since no reason is given for the change, maybe we are supposed to figure is due to the rage at the circumstances?
Well, Morgana is back and has brought a huge group of wizards with her. She and her wizards are attacking multiple places to weaken the Council. Rosie and her crew are there to fight back but, do they have enough power and are they able to finish in time? Lives are at stake, Rosie's, Maggie's and all those she cares about but, a blast from the past just might save them all. This was a really good book. Rosie just keeps fighting to protect those she cares about but, she is not so good at allowing others to help her. I highly recommend this book and series.
Witch on Board is Louisa West's most recent addition to her Mosswood series. When old enemies come back to town, Rosie and her family and friends are faced with yet another exciting and dangerous adventure. Even though the numbers are against them, their love, friendship and loyalties give them the power and strength to battle this evil. Although this is book 10 Ms. West still manages to keep the story fresh and new...all the while pulling you in to keep you reading and guessing at what is going to happen next. She is truly amazing at what she does best!
I loved the latest installment in Mosswood books! It was great seeing Bunny again in the beginning; I can't wait until their stories converge a little more! It was fun to see Rosie taking her place on the COW, and working together on the wizard problem. I don't want to spoil anything, but I **really** enjoyed the ending. Some people finally got what was coming to them. Give it a read to find out who I mean!
This most recent book, "Witch On Board" in the Mosswood series by Louisa West is the best!!! I'm fairly certain that I say that each time, but I mean it each and every time!!! Rosie, Declan and the whole crew are getting fed up with all the bad influences in their lives...and this book has some epic climaxes to those irritations!!! Plus lots of happiness for everyone! Just a great book. My emotions ran the gamut in this one. Great job as usual by Louisa!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
This series has quickly become one of my favorites! The characters are so well written you feel like you're visiting old friends instead of seeing words on a page. The plot is fast paced and keeps you reading right to the last page. There is also plenty of magic, friendship, and romance to satisfy any reader. I highly recommend both the series and the book! They should be read in order to get the most out of them.
In this book, Rosie is on the council of witches now. They have to fill a spot, but that can take a while. In the meantime, they put one of Rosie's friends on the council. The wizards are up to something big, and the council must stop them before its too late. Prissy is up to no good as usual. I loved this book and can't wait to read the rest of this series by Louisa West.
For the most part it was another fun Mosswood adventure. Everything that can go wrong does, but Rosie has her faithful family and friends to help save the day. It felt a little long in places, and the part in the beginning with Bunny disappointingly went nowhere. The title also totally gives away the ending.
Always a good visit with the Mosswood crew! I enjoyed the crossover with Bunny. Can't help but laugh at times. Nothing ever seems to go smoothly for Rosie. That being said it would be almost wrong if it did, then we wouldn't get to enjoy them finding a solution to the situations. This series is definitely enjoyable and great character development throughout.
There seems to be trouble in Mosswood again so soon after Rosie inherits a house and rents it out to the troubled Prissy. Rosie has obtained her position on the counsel and just in time for the wizards are about to wreak havoc. Time to pull out all resourses to help with this one. Family friends witches and ghosts, my what a team. Must read to the end for big surprise .
This is an absolutely WONDERFUL series. Highly recommend.
I so enjoy the way the extremely talented writer makes the stories come alive. I love that there are no “sex” scenes but but pure love prevails throughout. I also love that the characters are able to embrace magic and Christianity with wonderful values through both.
I had a hard time with books 8 and 9. I wanted to like them but couldn't. But book 10 brought me back into the fold. Much better use of magic and much better use of great characters. I'm still having a hard time with Dracula but there is a writer's poetic licence to add bizarre characters to get a story to it's end. Now on to 11.Enjoy!
Another great scenario with the witches battling the wizards. They had unexpected help from Dracula and Myles. Then Rosie, Declan, Maggie and Gabe were able to use all their powers to survive the invasion of the wizards.
Is it bad that I pictured the battle scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at the end of this book? Is it also bad I teared up during the same scene? What will happen now that Morgana is locked up?? Yes this is the review of questions haha.

I liked the way this ended. Not to give it away, but will say I'm glad the final battle is over...and I liked the ending!! Interested to see how the next book goes
I have lived each book in this series, but this one is by far my favorite. It touched my heart. Rather than be a spoiler, all I will say is, I knew it.
