This series has changed from the first volumes and is past its expiration date. You can tell that the author ran out of outline and is just trying to keep this story going. I still want to see how this story ends, but if it does not end next volume and does not get more interesting I may have to just give it up.

This one is all about preparing for the seemingly climactic battle with DarkMel. Basically we check in with all the significant characters throughout the volume. It was good for the most part. I am having some difficulty understanding the motivations of some of our villains, I guess, but I’m just going to keep rolling with it.

I do enjoy the plot, but the story is dragging with all the drawn out fight scene details. Honestly it feels like this story would be better kept to manga and anime format as opposed to light novel.
