If given a chance, love can heal even the worst of the soul-deep wounds that haunt us.
With Camden in a magical coma, Morough will stop at nothing to see his charge more comfortable living as his true self once he awakens. When Sol’kyr, worried that Camden hates him for taking him out of the human world, suggests they recover Camden’s cat to help with the transition, Morough jumps at the chance to help, and to spend time with his friends and bodyguard.
Sol’kyr has always been on the fringes of others’ happy families, never truly accepted thanks to his dark past. But he has his friendship with Morough, which gives him meaning even when he isn’t needed to protect the crown prince. It’s almost enough to keep the ever-present sadness mental trauma at bay, but not always.
When three elves who have no idea how the human world works try to navigate it on their own in search of one tiny kitten, anything that can go wrong, will. But in between the laughter and misadventure, there are tears and understandings long overdue. Their quest might have begun because of Camden, but if they can succeed, there might be enough healing to share with a lonely bodyguard who never thought he’d be worthy.
Part of the Adradis Rising Universe, Sol’s Redemption shows us that if a mission of seemingly minor consequence can change the world for one person, it’s worth it in the end.
This book is not a romance. Sol's romance/adventure is in a future book (Book 7). Sol's Redemption is a side story that happens in the middle of King's Heart, and is meant as a companion novella. While it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone, it will make more sense if you read Adradis Rising book 1, King's Heart first.

If there’s one thing Devon likes most, it’s chaos. They have a chaotic mind and a messy house, and they throw their characters into every calamitous situation possible. When they aren’t writing, they’re editing or formatting other authors’ works, building websites, creating graphics, reading, playing video games, or watching Fortnite streams on Twitch. They like to stay busy. So yes. Chaos.
This one I really liked! It is better paced than the first book, and it gives us more clarity into what happens in that period where Kaiden is still unconscious. I loved knowing more of Sol'kyr, Li'nov and Velithor, including who they are and what they were doing in that forest at the beginning of the first book
I loved Sol's Redemption by Devon Vesper. Like the author states at the bottom of the blurb. Sol's Redemption is a side story that happens in the middle of King's Heart and is meant as a companion novella. While it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone, it will make more sense if you read Adradis Rising book 1, King's Heart, first. I do agree with the author. The reader could read Sol's Redemption without knowing the main characters' backstory, but it is so much more enjoyable if you know who everybody is. I loved when Morough and his friends went back to earth to get Camden's cat, Pumpkin Spice, and Sol adopted a cat of his own, which led to them bringing over more cats to the elf realm and setting up therapy rooms for elves with mental health issues. Overall, a delightful addition to the series.

Come for the kitten rescue, stay for the larger revelations— I liked this book so much, and I challenge anyone not to want to see what happens when a bunch of elves with minimal understanding of how anything in the human world works attempt to do something they are in no way prepared to do. There’s a great blend of poignancy and comedy here, and it’s well worth the read. For context on the characters and the world they inhabit, it helps to have read King’s Heart, book one in the series, first— so if you haven’t already, start there! You won’t be sorry you did, and honestly, this book just makes me want the next one even more.

Sol's Redemption is an entertaining romp with the elves of Adradis in the human world. After stealing Camden away from his beloved cat and into the elven kingdoms, Murough, Sol, and their companions decide a quick jaunt back to rescue the cat is in order. What results is something rather more complex, and hilarity ensues. Interspersed with the elves' inability to handle technology and alcohol are some poignant and insightful views into Morough and Sol's frienship.

I loved this sweet story of healing, brotherhood, and friendship...and kitties. The humor of watching the elves engage in and try to understand the human world was an additional bonus. And kitties, did I mention the kitties?(LOL) I adore this series and am looking forward to the next book.

A good little side story, Camden was so worried about his cat. I would highly recommend reading book one, King's Heart, first to get context for this story.

I want Soul's Happy Ever After. I want his story please and thank you. I hope I don't sound too demanding, but this was an appetizer and now I want the Entry.
