Ši dalis buvo žymiai stipresnė man, nes gerokai atviresnės scenos, paliesti tam tikri fetišai, ir daug aistros, tai buvo ir įdomu ir keista skaitant. Bet viskas kas baigiasi - baigiasi Bairono ir Džesės meile. Nežinau kas nutinka Havajuose, bet jau antras vyras, kuris yra havajietis ir man taip stipriai imponuoja aprašymas vyro (ne charakteris), nes pirmą kartą havajiečiu susižavėjau Kalendoriaus mergina istorijoje, o šį kartą Baironas. Havajietis, stambus, didelis, raumeningas ir su tattoo... O jei dar pagal jų tradicijas dalis tattoo eina iš tėvo pusės, man taip įdomu būtų realiai pažinti ir sužinoti daugiau. Tai žodžiu Havajai mane ne tik gamta, bet ir vyras pakeri jau antroje knygoje 🙈

I loved this delightful vacation romance!
As steamy and relaxing as a hot tub on the beach, this romance massages all the feel-good spots in your soul as Jessie and Byron find true love at his resort. Right from the start we know there's something different about the dynamics they bring to their union. The secret to love is finding the one person who fits you perfectly, and that's exactly what Jessie and Byron find in each other.
Jessie, having experienced the way powerful men overran her Silicon Valley startup, needs to maintain control in order to feel secure. Byron, a CFO being groomed for the CEO position, needs to escape from always being in charge. This quote sums up the freedom they found in each other:
“I know it’s untraditional, but so are we. We don’t have to make our life look like other people’s.”
I absolutely adored the Princess Bride references. Like Westley, Byron would conquer the world for Jessie, and nothing made him happier than to serve her every wish. I loved how he started working on her "list" before even realizing it existed, and it was refreshing to see that they didn't fall into the predictable trap of misunderstanding intentions due to lack of communication. It was nice to see a man who wasn't even tempted to "rescue" her company, even though he had the means to do so, because he knew she wanted her success to stand on its own.
I loved the descriptions of surfing, the intensity of their attraction to each other, and the very satisfying HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed this return trip to the Kalani Resort and hope to revisit again soon. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This was quite an enjoyable read. The characters were both well developed, and had their own issues to face while looking for the one. It was refreshing to have to read that they both had to make compromises, and find out what really worked for them. The secondary characters were also important. The imagery of the island was well described in the story.

Rebecca Hunter gives us a surprisingly lovely and in depth exploration of the nature of desire and the power dynamics in a relationship in Pure Attraction.
Jessie comes from a long line of women who have reshaped their life to suit men. She has no interest in doing so and is developing an app to help women become independent. With her sister in a happy relationship (& looking like she's going to repeat the family pattern) Jessie is working extra hard to stay in control of her own destiny. She definitely likes to be in charge in her life --- in & out of the bedroom.
Byron is an anomaly. He's a sexy, powerful businessman but underneath is a laid back attitude and he is comfortable in his own skin. While he is definitely not a chest thumper and I wouldn't say he's a "beta" hero, but he prefers a woman to take charge in the bedroom. Maybe that makes him a submissive? Whatever, his last relationship flamed out when she failed to realize that just because he gets turned on by completely serving his lady and letting her play the dominant role in the bedroom, that didn't extend to letting her run his life and he got tired of setting his personal & professionals goals aside. He'd love to find a woman who can accommodate him. (It's all pretty mild stuff.)
Sexy times play out like a game, here, with these two, and I enjoyed following their amorous adventures as they realize they have fallen in love. It's like they both have the perfect key to unlock the other. 5 sexy stars featuring a couple one doesn't normally read about.

Jessie and Byron’s romance is off-the-charts hot! The tropical, just-a-smidge-wild holiday atmosphere of the Hawaiian Islands and the depth and heart of two fantastic, made-for-each-other characters combine in Pure Attraction in the best possible way. Fun, flirty, and very, very hot, this book pushes the boundaries of the developing romantic relationship in ways I haven’t often seen in category romance with the slightly more complex sexual needs each character has. Both characters seemed to not only enjoy being with each other, but they seemed perfectly matched. Thankfully, there was no option but happily ever after for Byron and Jessie, but it was a supremely enjoying read to get to their HEA. I absolutely loved this book, from start to finish, and wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to readers.

A very cute story. It was totally different than what I thought in terms of roles (you'll see when you read it), but it was super hot and sexy. The chemistry between Jessie and Byron was white hot which led to so many steamy scenes. The banter the two of them had will make you smile (or whimper), and you anxiously read and hope that they will reach their HEA. Bryon is so sweet and so romantic that you will wish he belonged to you (or teach your man how to do it right)! This book was fun to read!

4.5 stars This is a sweet tale, once I started reading I couldn’t put it down, the island is beautifully described I felt like I was there. Jessie and Byron just seem to fit together from the first moment they meet you just sit there hoping for the best for them. I love how when they finally came together they found what worked best for them, whatever that maybe!

I loved this sexy romance with great characters, romance and intrigue. She and her sister had a startup company in San Francisco and her sister sent her to an exclusive resort in Hawaii all expenses paid. She loved to surf and met a sexy surfer who.turned out to be the owner of the resort. They fell for each other but he worked in NYC and there were lots of complications to resolve. The ending was great.

Oh, this was sizzling and it in the middle of Hawaii! Byron and Jessie have amazing chemistry and their tryst goes from zero to 100 so fast I had whiplash. But that's because the writer wrote them so well, there was no denying their attraction. I couldn't put this down.

This was a very good book. It’s well written and the storyline was enjoyable. I liked Byron but Jessie grated on my nerves a few times. There’s a difference between liking control and having issues with control. Jessie seems more like someone who has a serious problem with control due to the way she viewed her relationship. She got it in her mind that all men especially those with money want to control women.
Byron and Jessie meet the first time when they’re both out surfing and Byron almost dropped in on her wave. She slings a lot of attitude and sass at Byron. They start to get a little flirty. She leaves and Byron starts to wonder if she’s staying at his resort. He finds out that she is, and they end up seeing each other again. She mistakes him for an employee at the resort at first but eventually Byron is able to set her straight that he is CFO for the company that owns the resort. Jessie decides that there is little harm in having a fling. They live on opposite sides of the country, so it’ll end when he or she leaves the resort. If like me, you love a bit of heat in your romance AND love The Princess Bride, screech the brakes for this one!! It will have you hot, bothered and falling in love from the off. Can you imagine Westley in the present day? A Westley permitted to extend his subservient and doting behaviours to the bedroom department: As you wish...

I enjoyed this "Fantasy Island" scorching hot romance with one heck of a setting! Jessie and Byron definitely add some steaminess. This is a good story that is nicely written and developed story that is sweet and passionate. Jessie just wants to get through the vacation and get back to her plans that is until she meets Byron. These two couldn't be any more perfectly fitted if they tried. I really enjoyed their story from beginning to end.

The resort that Jessie and Byron find themselves at sounds really neat. It also seems that it has helped each of them find not only something they want but need in a partner in one another. It was neat that each had to adjust to make a them work as well. More than just pure attraction.

This was an incredibly sweet and hot romance that has the pages almost sizzling. Byron and Jessie make such a cute couple and I really liked the fact that she ended up having such an unplanned romance on what she expected to be an uneventful vacation

The dynamic between this couple was very enjoyable as it played out. I liked the change from most books in this genre and found it fascinating to read. Their love was beautiful to behold as it grew and the story was entertaining.
