In this prequel to her totally addictive mystery series, Miranda Rose Barker offers plenty of twists and turns, nail-biting suspense, and laugh-out-loud humor all the way up to its surprising ending! A perfect series for fans of the cozy animal mysteries, thrillers & suspense genres.
Captivating from the very start, Peace of Mind is a fun story that will keep you turning pages.
This was a short but very interesting good cozy read , it was very touching at least to me. Tansy spends time with her aunt Vivian , whom her mother doesn't want any connection with and ends up discovering she has a lot in common with her aunt. There's meditation and homemade herbs for all kinds of things . This was the first of this author that had me frm the first page I will be reading more. I would recommend to anyone. Thank you Mirada Rose Barker
Absolutely love the characters and small touristy town in this book. The unexpected connection between Tansy and Hank was fun to watch play out. Love Tansy's Aunt. This was a great introduction to the cozy series that stopped at a cliffhanger. Definitely pulls me in. Now I need to read more to find out how the car ride went or what happened when they reached their destination or...well there's more questions but you get the gist.
An interesting book, good characterization. Lays the groundwork for the series. I think this was a good book and I’m interested to see where it’s going And YAY , no wailing , gushing ,screaming , crying , drooling, teen or twen as the main character !! I enjoyed this Tansy and Hank prequel
Finding Peace of Mind: The Tansy & Hank Pet Psychic Mystery Prequel
I received this book as an Arc from the author and I’m writing a review because I want to. This is a magical, coming of age story. A young woman learns how to use her abilities to possibly heal herself. She grows close to her aunt whose at odds with her mother. Highly recommended!
I thought prequels were supposed to be enticing, I did not get that from this one. I felt as if I was thrown little bits and pieces of different stories and all these little bits failed to satisfy. I liked the characters, Tansy, Aunt Vivian, Millie and the mother seems to be in a category of her own.
Cute and short book about a college student who has been estranged from her aunt by her mother. After an accident, Tansy decides to visit her Aunt Vivian. Tansy finds out that she and her Aunt Vivian are alike in many ways. When Tansy visits her aunt for the summer, she works in her herb shop and learns about herself in ways she never thought possible.
I think this was a good book and I’m interested to see where it’s going. The reason I gave a 4 star is because I do feel like it’s a little rush, maybe because it’s the prequel, but otherwise I think it’s cool.
Tansy is injured in a car wreck. Rather than spend time with her family that doesn't understand her, she decides to spend time with her aunt. She meets Hank, the dog and learns they have an unusual connection. Looking forward to more stories about these two.
This felt like it was a bit of a good attempt from a first time author. it felt disjointed and ran from one thing to another very quickly. I look forward to seeing more and hopefully the next will be better.
Some of the facts not right. When I read books I like when the authors remember what they write in the first to the last book in the series. Ms. Baker did not do that. The books are good for a quick read since they are short stories
Well written and keeps the reader wanting more. Tansy and Hank, the French bulldog, can have a conversation which Aunt Vivian knew would happen. I highly recommend this book.
This was a cute cozy read. Love the fast pace and twists. I wish it could have been longer and hated to see it end. Would have like to see more of relationship between niece and aunt. But I still enjoyed it.
This well-written prequel is short, concisely introducing the characters and setting the scene. Although the actual mystery itself is very brief, these pages tell one thing that is true - the coziest thing of all is finding acceptance.
Perfect cosy reading . This author is so talented, I enjoy the light easy style , she creates a veritable masterpiece in cosy . This book is very well written with solid characters that have depth and perfect descriptions. An immersive, compelling story.
A quick easy read with a nice set up for the things to come. As a prequel, it works. I'll grab the next book for the times I want a quick escape that doesn't require hours and days of commitment.
Nice way to start a new series. I can't wait to read more from this author. I received this book as a Free copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
I received this as a free book, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt immersed in the story. Well worth the read. Easy to read in one sitting. A nice cozy mystery.
I felt like the writer just stopped writing. The story was rather jumbled with large gaps in the story timeline. There was no ending or closure to the book. It just ended.
