Half my soul is missing, cruelly torn from me by the revolutionist group, Lycaon. I may be the Royal Princess of the Shifters, heir to the throne, and a total badass according to my friends, but even that couldn’t save my brother. My name is Callie Pierce. Lycaon killed my twin brother and I’m going to make them pay, but Lucas’ death also means something else. The seer was A war is coming. Even with the Mother Goddess gifting me with my seven mates, our success is not assured. Secrets and lies threaten to tear us apart. Will we survive what is still to come? This is a paranormal, reverse harem series where the girl gets all the hot guys. It is intended for a mature audience aged 18+ due to sexual scenes and adult language.

Very juvenile

I was really surprised when it was told that they only had one more year of college. I thought for sure they were grade school. I quit at 8%. I’m not a fan of the way it’s written. Everything is told to you and not very intellectually.

I’m also not impressed with the cast of characters listed at the beginning. I actually thought I ended up with a sequel. It mentions all of her mates and even that one of them has a girlfriend. I was. It interested enough to keep reading to figure that out.

I can honestly say that I won’t be reading this author again.

good

This was a nice pallet cleanser. Fated mates Insta love RH. I really enjoyed this book I just wish there was more to it. Felt it jumped from event to event. I wanted more world building, I felt we didn’t really get to know the characters either, need more character development. I will most likely read book 2

Intriguing story

This is my first book by this author and I freatly enjoyed it. Cali is a complete badass but that doesn't make her immune to the heartbreak of loosing her brother.
We have barely acratched the surface of her relationship with hwr mates and I can't wait to read the next book.

fabulous!

I read this entire book in a day! It was a great start to the series, building an interesting world with amazing characters! While it could admittedly use another proofread, it wasn’t anything that detracted from the story itself. Definitely worth it!

really good

I always love when the fmc is a tough cookie! Constant action which is good because it keeps you on your toes. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series! I highly recommend this book

Promising first book for new author R. Knight! The world building is great. We get to know Calli, the FMC, and her brothers. Calli is the princess of the shifters whose twin brother just got murdered. She then changes school and that's where she meets her fated mates. It looks like everybody is trying to unalive her but she is seriously crazy strong, resourceful and smart and I just loved that about her. Calli is definitely my kind of FMC and her mates are right there with her, except maybe Dimitri, but I have fate he'll turn around and start making good decisions. I feel like there is more there than what we can read, hopefully we'll know more in book two!

Normally, I find RH romances overwhelming or frustrating, but even with this many involved in the relationship, each character has a clear personality and takes the time to develop their relationship with the fmc even as they find their group dynamic. I love the strength of the FMC and how supportive her mates are as well!

I love paranormal romance, and this did not disappoint. It has unique aspects to the world that I haven't seen before, without being too over the top. I enjoyed the way the FMC and her family have built relationships that come into play throughout the story, as well as the hints that are dropped throughout this book and the next that appear to be foreshadowing. Certain aspects gave me literal chills, but I don't want to give you any spoilers, so you'll just have to read and find out for yourself.

Enjoy, this author has yet to write something I haven't loved, so be warned, her writing is addicting!
