Long have the nagas been alone. Without brides, without sweet mates to warm their nests.
Until three human women arrive...
Follow Gemma, Daisy, and Shelby as they claim their fierce naga males and restore life on Earth.
--- The Naga Bride Collection is the first boxset, featuring books 1-3, Viper, King Cobra, and Blue Coral. With the charm of a snake, and the wiles of a devil, these males will do anything, and I mean anything, for their females.
Naomi Lucas is an indie author. She loves being creative whether it’s with painting, writing, or making little jingles about her dog, Barracuda, or her cat, Daliah, in the car.
This has been recd a lot so I have it a shot.. the story was pretty decent for each couple but none have a complete HEA and the story is still continuing? Nahhh I’m good.
Im not gonna lie - was not expecting much from a snakeman fantasy romance book but this story delivered. Well thought out with a full arc that developed minor arcs throughout the books. Im kind of sad it is only 3 books - gonna have to see if she extended the series! The spicy is SPICY in these books. They are somewhat slow burnish but when they get hot they get fuego!
Earth has been destitute for 1500 years, and the first remaining humans have just returned to find that Earth isn't deserted as everyone believes. The Nagas traded the first humans back alien tech for females. The females run and are caught to start this adventure. The first two books in this box set run semi-parallel to each other, and the third continues on with their underlying story arc. The three books get progressively darker as well.
Gemma is the head communications officer, and she can't believe she is being turned over to snake-men for unknown tech. She runs but is caught by a viper. Gemma and Vruksha learn how to trust each other.
Daisy has never been loved or cared for by another, and she is now stuck being a pilot on the return trip to Earth. When she runs, she is first caught and kills her captor, only to be taken by a king cobra. Zaku is king, and he has finally found his queen, but she won't go down without a fight.
Shelby is not caught at first but finds herself trapped and rescued by a blue coral. Vagan has been watching and waiting for Shelby, and he has his chance to have her. Much more about the origins of Nagas is explained in this story.
Overall well-written stories and world-building. These were my first books by Naomi Lucas, but I will be getting more and moving on to the next in this series.
So I've been eyeing this series for a while and got the collection but never got around to it. With the 4th book coming out, I finally caved in and started. I forgot I had the collection so had read book 1 separately. Then I checked my kindle under the author's name and saw I had this so was able to read book 2 and book 3 back to back.
I really enjoyed this universe the author has created. The first book really created a lot of questions that were eventually revealed in book 2 and book 3. Make sure you have tissues for book 2. Daisy got it a lot rougher than Gemma and Shelby. That's not to say Gemma and Shelby had it any easier. Each naga is unique in their own way but I have a soft spot for Zaku.
The epilogue at the end of book 3 though. Man...I can't wait to go read book 4 now. So...if you are into this kind of genre, totally give this series a go. Really wished I read it sooner but glad I'm caught up now since book 4 is out.
"There's a difference between being strong and a b1+ch! All three girls had me on my nerves with the awful attitude. Totally understand both points of view but their survival instinct mode turned them into s+up1d girls. Such a shame because I was expecting something way much better than a girl that claims her freedom, then the z3× to ultimately run like a coward and magically fall in love. No, no and no. Waste of time. Why 3 words instead of 1, clearly because the nagas. They were so much interesting characters a little bit complicated with their over cavesnake side sometimes even frustrating but still that fiercely possessive side that's so hot and s3×y!"
I love many books by this one of my favorite authors. The possibilities of this being awesome was there. But the male "hero" Is a @#$%&$#!!! He chases her down like animals. He hides her in a bunker! All the time saying she don't have a choice! She says don't touch! He puts his hands on her. She says wait! His reply is this will hurt but it will all be ok. this is not sexy! This is Rape abhorrent! I love her writing but not this. I'm disappointed that she felt it was ok portray this the way she did. The author could have had him behave in a strong way but not like this.😭
This book had me giggling and kicking my feet. I love a good alien romance with a "Touch her and die" trope. I loved every couple; they felt well-thought-out and different. I could not put this ebook down. I stayed up late to read chapters because I had to know what happened next!
The world-building was amazing! I wanted to know the secrets along with the characters and gasped as things were revealed. It is safe to say that I will be reading the next books in the series. I need to know more!
Also, I have to give a shout-out to the spice because IT WAS SO GOOD. Knots. That's all I am going to say
Would you believe this series is a romance?! Aliens, hybrids, humans, full of everything you need for a great story. Then you add space and …the love. 😍
I read the first book by its self and then saw this collection. It’s a great idea that I haven’t seen before. I don’t want to spoil anything. But it’s fantastic and I can’t wait for the next book
Naomi Lucas will always be one of my go to authors when I want a book to really get absorbed in. These books pull off a steady sort of world building while still focusing on the couples and their own personal journeys.
I saw the author on social media and got curious, best rabbit hole I ever dug into. I have been binge reading for two days and now I’m gonna start on book four. If you’re questioning whether or not you want to buy this just do it do you won’t regret it.
