This was aight. I’m eager to jump into Blacks book for sure w the nurse and also Raels book which is by a different author. Defn want to read that series it’s paranormal bikers. PARANORMAL MC. Unreal. And they reap souls….. I’m in it to win it

Cold Fury by Daphne Loveling was the first book in the Royal Bastards Minneapolis MN MC series. It was one of many in the Royal Bastards MC World series by various authors. Each author’s contributions can be read as a standalone and will also tie in to the series for the entire Royal Bastards MC World.
I enjoyed both characters, Connor “Fury” Mattson and Katerina “Kat” Bergland. I also enjoyed the premise of the storyline and the second chance theme. They were high school sweethearts and we’re going to tackle the world together until Connor made a bad decision and chose his MC over Kat. The crossed paths again several years later when Kat returned home as a nurse working in the local ER. Circumstances had changed and Connor, now Fury, wasn’t making the same mistake twice. Loveling also added an MC conflict, which crossed over into personal conflicts, to round out the storyline.
Overall, it was quick and entertaining. I desired more depth and dimension to both the characters and the storyline, but it was still an enjoyable read and I can’t wait to read more.

I liked their relationship but it just wasn’t for me I didn’t like that it was bragged about how many women the hero has been with just felt like it can me mentioned once and move on but no. Also the knowledge of knowing he’s been with other women at the beginning in a threesome just put me off and made me not want to read further but that’s just my preference other than that okay.

I really enjoyed this new chapter of the Royal Bastards. Daphne Loveling is a great MC writer. One thing that didn't get wrapped up was Kats, homeless friend.... Don't know why but kept waiting on something with him happening.
This is Fury, Conner and Katrina's story. They were high school sweethearts that didn't make it far past high school... Conner was in a different MC club at that time and made a big mistake. A mistake at the time but after everything that went on, I think it was better that way.... Now got to wait around a year for another one 😕

Intense
This was intense with the two clubs and what her brother did. I wouldn't want anything to do with him but Connor got the second chance with the women he loved. It was a good book intense in places for sure

Fantastic MC Romance!
I loved Connor/Fury and Kat's story. All the angst, bad boy romance, steamy scenes, and brotherhood you could want. Well-written, perfect pacing, lots of action, and a kickass storyline. LOVED the appearance of a certain Reaper named Rael. I could be biased. Highly recommended!

It was good until it went downhill at 70%, Kat pissed me off and I couldn’t get over it 😭 Powered through though. Those 2 stars are for Fury’s loyalty. He’s better than me, I would’ve let her rot for being dumb af.

DNF. A lot of mistakes, I’m over halfway and I don’t care about either of them.
The start of the book is really gory and I very nearly didn’t carry on reading it. What sort of psycho is Fury that he gets a hard *n when he’s torturing people??? 🤮🤮🤮 That’s just weird!! Anyway back to the sort of a plot. Fury/Conner and Kat were madly in love at 18 when Fury is told by his president to dump her, as her brother is in a rival Mc. So of course he did, leaving both of them broken hearted. (Not sure he was!) Five years pass and Fury is picturing Kat with every woman he’s with (Please make it stop!) and he’s with a HUGE amount of women so it doesn’t bother him that much!! Kat is now a nurse with a huge college loan to pay off, yet she manages to give her waste of space brother a lot of money that he never pays back. Kat is a doormat with her brother! He treats her like she’s his slave and they don’t have a relationship at all yet she still jumps to do his bidding.
When she’s doing a favour for her brother and she’s grabbed by one of his Mc brothers, Fury luckily sees it and rescues her. Soon they’re back in a relationship and in love, 🫤 yet Fury still hasn’t apologised or asked for forgiveness for what he did. Of course her brother and his Mc aren’t happy with what she’s doing and he threatens her to stop seeing Fury. It just goes downhill after that. He hasn’t even told his Mc president that he’s with her, and he’s started a war with another club over her.
Too many mistakes and the sex scenes are laughable! He manages to stay hard after c*ming. Yeah of course. 😂😂😂🙈🙈🙈🙈

Yeah, no.
It was boring, I tried to get into it but it just maintained boring.
And there were the weirdest typos or bits like these:
- On page 3 (of the e-book) you find a typo like this: “The way his lips flick over his lips when he’s lying is one of his tells.”
Did the author mean “his tongue,” which would make more sense, no?
And this bit: So Kat drives her car to the biker bar, finds out her brother is no longer there, gets accosted by Hooch (her brother’s creepy friend) and when Fury steps in to stop Hooch from forcing her to go with him, she starts walking away. One would assume she’s going to get in her car and drive away. But nope, she ends up walking away from the bar so Fury rolls his motorcycle up to her and tells her to get on so he can take her somewhere away from Hooch before Hooch comes to (since Fury knocked him out). Instead of saying I have a car, she supposedly reluctantly gets on Fury’s bike and then Fury discovers they know each other and he pulls over. She claims she didn’t want to join him in the first place since she recognized him, so again I ask, WTF don’t she get in her car back at the bar!? Kat gets upset, so she steals Fury’s bike (because of course🙄) and drives two blocks to her apartment. And again, why did she decide to leave her car at the biker bar? Wouldn’t she need it? Wouldn’t it have been easier to drive it back to her apartment? And then she wouldn’t have needed to be “saved” by Fury. WTF!?!?!? This makes no sense🙄

Fury is a not a great hero. He dumps Kat when they are young and in love, because his MC prez asks him to. (Her brother is in a rival MC). Fast forward, 5 years or so, Kat is back in town and an ER nurse. He sees her and wants her back. No grovel, not even an apology until a week into their new relationship. And even then he’s like I don’t know if I formally apologized to you but sorry. Kat’s like - apology accepted, it was probably for the best now I’m a nurse. Umm, what? Before that, she was seemingly devastated by their break-up, but hey, no biggie, at least we’re back together after years of you fucking hundreds of women and never bothering to look me up! Good grief woman, get some self respect.
Then to top it off, her asshole brother and his club are threatening her so Fury’s club fucks up one of their drug shipments in retaliation. Fury doesn’t tell Kat what happens, only that he dealt with the problem and she’s safe now. She doesn’t like being left in the dark and asks to go back to her place to be alone, since it’s supposedly safe now. So Fury lets her and she’s then kidnapped by her brother’s club and given as payment to the cartel who was expecting that drug shipment Fury’s club derailed.
Are you kidding me? Fury is seriously lame and Kat is a fool.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "COLD FURY" I loved this story it hooks you from to finish so much danger, suspense, mystery, secrets, lies, deceit, angst, betrayal, steam, heartbreak, trust issues, humor, threats, twists you don't see coming.
Connor "FURY" Mattson years ago left someone he regrets, waving up this day Kat her brother was in a rival MC so his President Yates told him the Club or her he chose the club breaking her heart.
Kat had been hurt worse than she thought she could possibly hurt when Connor ran out on her, she leaves town to train to become a nurse her brother Quad with Eagle's Talon MC made it clear to her to stay away from Fury because he's in RBMC when she comes back to Minneapolis.
Fury & Kat start seeing one another in secret if her brother finds out it could destroy everything but Fury swears he'll protect her but can she truly trust him not to hurt her once again.
I definitely recommend to get this intriguing, riviting, intense action packed on the edge of your seat mind-blowing story, Kat & Fury take you on one crazy wild ride with some very interesting characters that need their own stories.
PHENOMINAL DARK INTENSE RIVITING ROMANCE YOU CAN'T PUT DOWN 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Fury (Connor) and Kat few years ago they were totally in love but, with the club he was in he was told to let her go because her brother was in a ravial's club. She left and went to college but came back, she was working at the hospital, when she gets a call from her brother to come get her neice when she is confronted by his best friend and things get heated when Fury steps in. When he figures out who she is he realizes what he lost and has regretted every since. When things for them start up she gets a warning from her brother and than he does the unthinkable and sells her to the cartel. Will Fury be able to find her before it's too late? Will she able to accept their relationship? Will her brother be held responsible for his actions? This book sucks your right in and takes you on a roller-coaster ride of emotions, action, twist, turns and so much more. Once you start you won't be able to put it down. Second chances don't come often but when they do take a hold and don't let go. Amazing read and I can't wait to see what this author has next.

Cold Fury is book one in the Royal Bastards Minnesota Chapter. This is a second chance MC romance. I really enjoyed this book, it was entertaining, gritty, violent, steamy, and easy to read. And I also love the cover! My favorite quote "Lies are used to cover up weakness."
I appreciated Kats ballsy attitude, especially when she takes off on the motorcycle, that was epic. I liked that she didn't let people boss her around, but I wish shr had more of a back bone when it came to her brother.
Fury was quite the alpha and had a quick temper, hence the name Fury. He's a man who knows what he wants and I appreciate that he doesn't make the same mistake twice.
My only complaint is that it was too short! I would have loved more depth. And I thought there were a few missing pieces to the story, like the character Jimmy. Hopefully we will be back with the MN Royal Bastards and get Mack's book!

Fury & Kat: triggers- child abandonment, family discord, domestic violence, assault, sexual assault, sex trafficking, drugs. A second chance romance for the main characters. When they were younger, Fury was told to break up with Kat because her brother was in a rival MC . He did so even though he loved her. Now years later and part of a different MC (and/or under a different MC President) he runs into her being assaulted by another rival MC member. That rival is in the same club as Kat's brother and he wants her. In order to protect Kat from the unwanted advances and pressure from her brother, Fury begins to step in to protect her. Because he still loves her. This is a good story but I have to say that I didn't really like Kat. She didn't really have too much common sense and was too accepting of the idea that her brother wouldn't hurt her. The book of definitely steamy and has a little action. Short but good.

He chose the club. The next time Fury sees Kat is years later and she is being assaulted. He jumps in and rescues her. But the man he knocked down is Hooch. A member of her brother's club. It's been a while since I've read one of Daphne's books and this one was great! I've had it on my Kindle for a while before I got around to finally reading it. Fury is a big ball of Fury, ironically. He was forced to leave the love of his life for the club. Itj shattered both him and Kat. When Kat comes back to Minneapolis, he happens to come across her and is instantly wanting to get her back. He made the mistake of letting her go once and he wasn't going to allow it again. The drama unfolds when her brother a member of a rival club finds out she's back with Fury. The things that they go through simply because they wanted to get back together is unreal! Her own brother is scum! Kept me on the edge of my seat!

OMG!!!! Five huge stars!! What a start to a new Chapter of the Royal Bastards MC!! And one of my favourite authors!! I cannot tell you how excited I was to learn she was joining the fifth run of the Royal Bastards! And she did not disappoint!
Fury and Katrina had my heart from the start and I found it extremely difficult to put this book down.
Fury has never forgotten Kat and has lived with so much regret since they parted. When it seems they have a second chance and outside forces try to interfere again, Fury is determined to protect what is his, with everything he has. Gah!!!

Second chance at forever
High school sweethearts breakup because of a decision made by a club President. Now years later and in different part in Fury and Katrina life their paths cross again. This time will it be different or will the past come back to bit the in the butt. All in the decision they make.
Kat has loved Connor since high school and got her heart broken because it was his club over her. Now he is a grown man so much has changed since they were 18 but not the most important their feelings. Love this book can't wait for the following members of the RBMC Minneapolis Chapter.

This is a brilliant MC read but also a second chance romance.
Fury can't believe that Kat is back in their home town and he will do anything to keep her in his life this time. He let her go years ago but has never forgotten her.
Kat knows that she should walk away from Fury but she still loves him but what happens when her brother finds out that they are back together.
So much drama and some suspense but will Fury be able to keep Kat safe when her brother does the unthinkable.
A must read and I can't wait for more.

Cold Fury is the first book in the Royal Bastards Minneapolis MN MC series written by the amazing and talented author Daphne Loveling. This is Fury and Kat second chance romance story. To be honest, I have always loved an MC romance. The plot is full of drama, action, danger, suspense, banter, second chances and a steamy romance. I love all the secondary characters in their story, as well. Can't wait for more stories from the Minneapolis chapter of the Royal Bastards MC. I would definitely recommend this book. A 5-star reading experience!

Loved the book
Any book Daphne writes is excellent. I hope that Fury and Kat's book is the first of many in this Royal Bastards series. Fury let his Prez tell him to drop Kat like a hot potato years ago. Now that she is back, he is definitely not going to let her go now. Kat is trying to make a go with her brother who only wants her around to use her to his advancement. Fury wants to keep her safe but Kat doesn't think her brother wants to do harm to her. Fury goes balastic when she is taken from him. Kat wants to look for the good in everyone.

Wow!!!! This book is the 1st in the RNMC Minneapolis chapter series and it is AMAZING!!!!
Kat and Fury star in this second chance at HEA book. The road to that HEA is paved with detours, mystery, intrigue, MC drama and of course, plenty of super spicy good stuff.
This entire book is simply amazing and so we’ll written. We even get to visit with friends from other RBMC chapters nearby. I loved those parts. I cannot wait for the next one and am sad the wait will be long. The other MC members are just begging to have their stories told.

Damn this is a great book and in keeping with the rest of the Royal Bastards MC series. It hits where you don’t expect it to.
Fury and Kat have history and they are both being careful so they don’t get hurt again. When they meet it takes everything in Fury not to just pick up Kat and take her and never let her go.
Kat when she sees Fury again is still hurt of the way he cut her loose and really doesn’t want to give him a chance to hurt her again.
When trouble comes after them both from her brothers MC, Fury steps up and with the help of the Royal Bastards protect Kat and the town they live in.
They talk, love, laugh and enjoy each other and soon are on the same page.

This is the first in a new series and I really enjoyed it. The story of Fury and Kat. A second chance romance. They got there in the end although she made him work for it which was no more than he deserved. A good amount of action between rival clubs and a cameo from a member of the Lords MC club. Well written, I enjoyed so much I read it straight through. I found myself completely hooked into the story and I had to know how it ended. I think this is Daphne’s best book so far.

I enjoyed reading about these high school lovers. They have a misunderstanding earlier in their relationship and have a bitter break up. After years later both had other relationships. They reunite and restore their sexual and emotional relationship. I also was very interested that the author included the Reaper from Royal Bastards MC.
