Braenin began his training at age twelve and has trained for nine years to become the fierce Protector he is today. The Luna Princess doesn’t live in their world and won’t until she turns twenty-one. But after the sudden death of the Luna Queen, Braenin and his team are sent to Earth to collect the Luna Princess early and bring her back to their world to take her place as the next Luna Queen.
Natoly lives with her father and is getting ready to start her first college classes. She lives what she would consider a semi-normal life. That all changes one night when six guys show up at her house, insisting she accompany them to Orlen, a world she knows nothing about. In a matter of minutes, she realizes everything about her life has been a lie. When circumstances force Natoly to return with Braenin and his team to Orlen, she finds herself tasked with saving their world.
Natoly soon realizes she’s not cut out for the job, and there are those who would like nothing more than to destroy her. She will have to rely on Braenin, who she fights with constantly, and his team to keep her safe. She needs their help navigating this new world because there is too much at stake if she fails.
Bound by Protection is the first book in The Protector Series trilogy and features a closed-door, slow-burn romance between a reluctant Luna Princess and her Protector.
A. J. Manney lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband and four kids. Some of her favorite things to do include reading, family days, being a pastor's wife, and watching football on Sunday afternoons with her family
Very fun imaginable books with believable characters whom I enjoy. Wonderful world, adventure, bad people, saviors and always the females are not helpless, but action hero’s if their own!
Let me start here: I find that I devour her books. They are so much fun.
This was an *almost* solid 4, but it took me a bit more time than previous to be fully captivated by the story. That said, there's a bit of building she has to do to make it work, and she does it so well.
I read another series of hers before this and thoroughly enjoyed it. I gave it, basically, a 5/5.
I will be starting the next book tonight as I am as ✨️invested✨️in this story as I was with her previous works.
I definitely recommend. Clean, fun romance with *very* protective men who cherish and protect the women they love. ❤️swoon❤️
You might ask what series I just read because I didn't review it... I know. I'm working on it. I haven't reviewed 90% of my reads this year. If you know me personally, you know why. Coming soon! I'll be catching up a bit. 🫡
This book is just not as engaging as I want it to be. There are villains, heroes and some you are not sure of. There are multiple worlds. Interesting but fails to grab you. It took me way longer than I would like to admit to finish this and was almost a DNF. It is frustrating to want to know the outcome, but to struggle with how you are engaging with others the story. I will attempt to finish the series, I am not holding much hope. You may be more engaged if you prefer a sci-fi edge to your stories. It is not working for me.
I picked this book up after reading another of this author’s series, and I plowed through this one so quickly! It caught me off guard how much I liked the main heroine and her bodyguard entourage. Great book with an interesting plot! The action is spread throughout the book, and it keeps the reader invested.
They clash, Nat is a spitfire, and he is by the rules all the time, always in protector mode until they take her, and I can't wait to see him burn the council down. Cliffhanger alert!! So good!!!!
So many of these type of romances get very prolific with love making and it really takes away from the story, sometimes even to the extent that I wont continue to read the book. You don’t and I thank you.
A cliff hanger! Lots of questions! Looking forward to the next book! A tiny bit of wordiness here and there. No swearing. No sex. Violence but nondescript .
Seeing as I have just discovered A.J. Manney's books, this was the next logical book to read. The back cover hooked me. I mean, who doesn't like a cliche protector falling for protectee? Despite this, there were parts that kept me from giving full 5 stars... but Natoly's best friend Beth made it worth 4 stars!
I enjoyed this book very much. It was funny and exciting. I loved all the guys a lot and Natoly was a great character too. Now I can read the second book 🥰
