Very helpful in a practical way (concrete items your family will be so glad you have done, etc.) but also in a spiritually encouraging way. I read it on Hoopla, but I plan to get a copy for myself to refer back to.
As I prepare to meet Jesus face to face, I am taking necessary time and actions to do so decently and in order as my heavenly Father has instructed us to run this race he has assigned. This book is a great help with the thoughts during the process.
"God's people should plan for a voyage of a thousand years, but be prepared to abandon ship tonight." Joseph Bayly.
What a hard book to read! Easily in my top 5 out of 240 books read so far this year; can't think of any on my list that will knock it off.
After losing 10 loved ones in 10 years, current cancer, comas, incurable illnesses, and locked-in-syndrome in immediate family members, and writing my own will and Trust before my unattended home birth, this book should be mandatory reading to prepare humans for all of our inevitable future.
To God be the glory, our only hope in life and death.
