Strange, frightening things are happening in Gotham City. An abandoned building suddenly bursts into flames. The inmates at an asylum for the criminally insane escape and roam the streets of the city. Policemen try to arrest Batman for an act of heroism.
Who's behind this reign of terror? How does Catwoman, that razor-clawed feline of crime, fit into the scheme? And will the six deadly demons prove an unconquerable challenge to Batman?
This is another short but action packed and to the point Batman prose novel. I'm not sure what the target audience for this one is, because it is quite short, and does have a few neat illustrations by Arthur Suydam, but the subject matter is pretty dark, so I can't imagine it being geared towards young readers. It has an abrupt ending that may be considered open ended, but I've decided to take it a certain way that leads to the redemption of one of the characters, but that may just be the biblical reading I've partaken of lately talking.
A really cool, dark, interesting story about the Caped Crusader that is just written in the oddest style, like Christopher Nolan's Batman, written by Adam West's writers. A book for young people that doesn't really fit that shade.
